What to expect

Cappadocia is a magical world of cones and pinnacles created by ancient volcanic eruptions, wind and water. And, on this two-day trip, you'll see all sides of it. Fly from Antalya to explore must-sees like Baglidere Love Valley, the rock-carved Uchisar Castle and Guvercinlik Pigeon Valley, all offering wow-worthy views. You'll enjoy a regional lunch, join a handicraft workshop and visit an underground city. After an overnight stay, you can choose an optional hot air balloon ride or join a balloon-watching tour to see the balloons rise with the sun.

Guiden var helt fantastisk - han havde meget viden, rar personlighed og opmærksom på deltagerne. Oplevelsen var helt fantastisk. Luftballon var helt uforglemmelig. Eneste note er at vi ikke havde indset hvor koldt det ville blive inden opgang med ballon. Eventuelt anbefal langærmet tøj i opslaget hvor luftbaĺon nævnes. Info om prisleje for ballon (selvom det variere meget) og at det er kontant kan også være en hjælp.

Upplevelsen var fantastisk, Dock så visste vi inte om att det skulle ingå en guidad tur hela dagen med flera stopp, vi fick endast uppgifter om att vi hade transfer till hotellet, så det var lite synd att vi inte kunde ha förberett oss med bättre skor och så vidare! Hotellrum var dock en besvikelse gällande standard. Ingen air kondition. Ingen ström i kontakterna och dörren in till rummet var som en pappskiva.!

Der Guide hat uns viel über Land und Leute erzählt, das war in Ordnung. Aber weshalb wir diesen Ausflug gebucht haben wurde in keinster Weise erfüllt, wir haben den Ballon Flug nicht wahrgenommen, weil er uns viel zu teuer verkauft wurde, am Dienstag hieß es noch dazu das er wegen dem schlechten Wetter nicht stattfinden konnte und im laufe des Tages wurde uns mitgeteilt das er eventuell doch stattfinden könnte für 320 Euro pro Person. Das ist einfach nur Abzocke in unseren Augen,

Ein wirklich toller aber auch anstrengender Ausflug. Der erste Tag ist voll von sportlichen Herausforderungen. Trepp auf, Trepp ab. Und das ber ungesicherte Pfade oder in Höhen. Hier muss man wirklich Fitt sein und benötigt unbedingt feste Schuhe. Angeblich haben die Balonfahrten immer Tagespreise. Da sie wegen schlechten Wetter 2 Tage nicht starten konnten haben sie dann bei uns 320- Euro kassiert. Die Jeeptour 60,- Euro. Hotel war trotz 5* so lala. Reiseleiter leider nicht gut. Gesamtnote 2+

Vorweg: die Gesteinsformationen in Kappadokien sind fantastisch! Generell ist die Information, die man vorab über die Tour bekommt, sehr minimalistisch. Man hat den Eindruck, dass es sich um eine 2-Tages-Reise handelt, aber in Wirklichkeit sind es nur 1.5 - man kommt am zweiten Tag zu Mittag wieder zurück. Ballonfahren (140€/Person im 32er-Korb) oder Ballon-Schauen (50€/Person) sind am folgenden Morgen optional. Wer beides nicht macht, hätte eigentlich schon am Vorabend zurückfliegen können.

The tour overall was good value for money, seeing all the different vallies which were a wonderful sight to behold. Watching all the hot air balloons the following morning was a phenomenal experience which is very special. The hotel and staff at overnight stay were not friendly, food was not great and limited facilities.

Der Höhlenbesuch war Klasse könnte noch länger gehen. Die Ballons mit Jeep Safari waren traumhaft. Das Hotel war ok, nur das Mittagessen im Restaurant war katastrophal, noch nie so schlecht in der Türkei gegessen, das meiste würde stehen gelassen, dort war es unheimlich laut. Das sollte geändert werden. Aber alles in allem eine Lohnenswerte Reise.

Die optionale Ballonfahrt sollte pro Person 260€ kosten. Das ist reiner Wucher bei bis zu 30Personen in einem Korb und insgesamt einer Dauer von nicht ganz 3Stunden von Abholung am Hotel bis zur Rückkehr. Kein Wunder, dass der Preis nicht direkt genannt wird. Die restliche Tour war gut organisiert und hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt. Es wäre aber schön gewesen, wenn wir im Vorfeld ausführlichere Informationen bekommen hätten, z.B. dass es auch ein inkludiertes Mittagessen gibt oder über den Flug
