Learn about the life of Winston Churchill, one of history's most famous politicians, on this walking tour in London. Your guide will first tell you about the childhood and youth of Churchill: you will visit the park where he used to play as a child, the house where he lived and also the places where he used to eat.
You will then proceed towards the neighborhoods where Churchill spent his adulthood and enter the shop where he used to buy his cigars. You will also stop at some war memorials along Whitehall. Among others, you will see a statue dedicated to the women who contributed to the war effort and a memorial dedicated to all British victims during the wars.
Afterwards, you will stop at the famous black door of 10 Downing Street, which has been the home of all British Prime Ministers since the 18th century. Finally, you will visit the subterranean War Rooms, where Churchill gave the orders that led to the defeat of the Nazis during the Second World War.
