Within a few minutes of leaving the hotel we were taken to a gift shop and hard sold extremely overpriced products. At every opportunity across the whole experience the primary focus was getting the tour party into the gift shops and bars to spend money, the tours felt like a secondary option. At 9 mile being heard into a hut to be hard sold marijuana was an intimidating experience. We were then held in 9 mile at the end of the tour behind gates until we tipped the guide.

The experience and staff were fabulous. Our Tui trip guide was lovely, and very informative. I felt very safe with the guide at the falls, feeling safe and not pressured at all times. A great experience. Our tour guide and driver were fabulous. The nine mile tour was good, our guide around Bob marley house & mausoleum was very funny and informative. Good experience. The only downfall was travel time longer than expected and stated on web site.

Our guide and driver were brilliant, informative and friendly with very skilful driving from Delano, our ‘no problem’ driver. Both attractions are amazing, the falls are beautiful and to see the final resting place of a reggae legend is very special. Lunch was lovely, great jerk chicken. Overall a fantastic day, though it is a long trip from Negril - but worth it!

Having read some reviews before booking i became sceptical about whether i should book this excursion having been on it i enjoyed the whole experience and was left scratching my head about how people could give a negative review, an excellent day out from start to finish, learning some things about Jamiaca in between each event. 1 positive from review reading was that I got informed to get some water shoes and a waterproof phone case ahead of time, so that I didnt have to overspend on them here.

We've just been on the tour, it was absolutely amazing! Our tour Priest Jerry and driver captain kirk were amazing, kept us entertained, informed and safe on the drive, which to be fair wasn't as bad as I expected as im.a very nervous passenger, not going to lie its not the best though, but worth it to see 9 miles. Dunn Falls was amazing, would have preferred a little more time to spend at the falls in the pools and taking in the stunning views! Bob Marley tour was really good, learned alot!

Both the venues were great and well worth a visit. I would seriously consider travelling a different way though. The small bus was jammed to rafters with no bag storage at all which meant sitting in very cramped seating for around 5 hours in total with bags on knees. The bus had no working seat belts which had been covered anyway by tatty seat covers. Legal requirement or not, am not sure why TUI would think mine and my families safely was any less important in Jamaica than in the UK. Not great

Both Dunns river falls and bob marley 9 mile where fantastic . The food stop not so keen. The only downside was getting back through montego bay , had summer festival on and was grid locked no fault on coach driver or guide / rep they where amazing. We went from NEGRIL at 6.20am and arrived back at 11pm so very long day. But we'll worth it

This was advertised as an 8 hour trip and turned out to be over 12 hours. The waterfall trip was not communicated properly and we were forced to buy swimming shoes before we were allowed to take part at an organised stop by the bus on the way. Lunch very disappointing meat very dry and only water/cheap juice supplied. Should also make sure people realise they need cash for a lot of things especially at 9 mile. Would definitely not recommend for the money we paid.

In my opinion you don't need to be picked up so early as they don't open until 9am. There was no need to have to go into a shop for 15-20 minutes. If picked up later you could go straight to the Duns falls. Also let who is going on there trip to put their swimming gear on first and take a change of clothes with you.

Sunna river is a brilliant tour, can be strenuous at times, only downsize is the vendors at dunes river that you have to go past to get back to your bus, the tour guides give you excellent advice but still can be pushy and crafty. Nine mile is good but you our literally sold to from the start and prices our way more expensive than normal gift shops. Our main tour guides give and driver was good and informative, you should know there is a lot of driving to the various parts of the tour.

Driver Des and guide Vivian were both superb informative entertaining and had great knowledge of Jamaica and it's history. The falls are fantastic but a physical challenge and Nine Mile is not to be missed. It's a long day so be prepared for a minimum 12 hours.

The trip states it is 6-8 hours when it was 13 hours with travelling on a cramped mini bus. Although it does say that this trip is not suitable for those with mobility issues. I think it should be more specific about how strenuous it is climbing the falls with slippery rocks and fast flowing water.

Danika our tour guide and Desmond our driver were brilliant. They looked after our bus load of people with the utmost security and vigilance. My son is 11 and Danika and the rest of the tour group watched out for him and he loved it. Didn’t feel any threat whatsoever at the Falls or when we visited Bob Marley’s house. Such an inspiring experience, so pleased we booked. We had laughs and knowledge galore. Would definitely recommend. Even if you don’t book through your rep, do it anyway.

Dunns River Falls was a lovely experience wish we had longer here. Guide should meet the group at the end of the falls so that you are not harassed by hawkers on the way out, tarnished the overall experience. Lunch was basic and undercooked, chicken was still red in places we had stomach problems that evening and the following day, must be better places to take tourists for Jamaican food. Nine Mile, great if you love ganja would not recommend if you don’t partake. Tour guide should go with

I give such a high rating because Mr becci and Janel were both awesome. Mr becci pulled over just for me to get cash in a safe location saving me hassle of finding a place myself later on. And Janel! She could be my tour guide all day lost i could listen to her speak forever. I wish I could put her in my suitcase and take her back with me. Absolute angel

Bus was old and had no seat belts, very worn rear tyres and driver was crazy even the guide was telling him to slow down. Guide was great and can’t fault her but the awful bus/ travel was terrifying. Dunn falls was amazing and guides were brilliant, nine miles was a total let down and very over commercialised with them selling merchandise and wanting tips at every corner. I learnt nothing from the nine miles experience and was disappointed.

Dunns River was a good experience, staff were really engaging and made the experience fun. Nine miles tour was good, it did feel a little rushed as guide kept saying take photos quick because the next group was waiting. Didn't like the bit beforehand when tour guide takes you over to where they sell marijuana but we wasn't pressured into buying, just a personal preference. Very long journey from Negril, out for at least 14 hrs.

We really enjoyed Dunn’s River Falls—it’s a stunning place, but water shoes and swimsuits are essential if you plan to climb the falls. If you prefer a “dry” walk along the side, you won’t need them, but we wish we had been informed about this option beforehand. The Bob Marley experience in Kingston was more enjoyable for me. However, if you’re into smoking weed, this is definitely the place for you. One downside was being taken to an overpriced tourist shop or market, which felt unnecessary.

Fantastic day but climbing the falls is not for people who are bad on their feet. Can be a bit daunting at times but there's exits along the way if you don't want to continue. We made it to the top and thoroughly enjoyed it Bob Marley was excellent and emotional. The guides were superb and very informative. It's a long and winding journey up there but I loved seeing the real Jamaica. Bus driver Old Papa and tour guide Little Mama were brilliant ??.

Daneka our Tui rep was knowledgeable and full of fun as was our driver Chris. They even stopped over and brought us sugar cane from the side of the road for the journey to sample. The dunns river was amazing and a must do and the Bob Marley tour was quite spiritual and emotional. Our guide was funny but agin knowledgeable and even blast out songs throughout the tour

Brilliant experience from start to finish. We both didn't realise the falls were as high as they were. Don't let that statement be off putting the climb is amazing. Nine mile we found to be uplifting and emotional walking round the house of the late great Robert Nesta Marlley. Our guide Chantell feed us great island info during the trip.

I thought the whole experience was great & would reccomend to all. Only thing i would say if i was being picky was on arrival at 9 mile, everyone got put in a small tight trapped in by the locals which didn't make it as pleasant for some folk with claustrophobia. Thats the only minor fault, other than that, the whole experience was great!

Enjoyed the whole day. The falls are beautiful but challenging for some. Some of the rocks are very slippery, despite being cleaned and made as safe as they could be. Not good if you’re balance is a little off. My hubby ended up on his ********** a few times. Listen to your guide, they know what they’re doing!

The places we visited were amazing, truly worth seeing. The guides do their jobs very well too. The roads up to Nine Mile are nothing short of deadly though. Quite a few times I thought we were going to crash & the driver had to swerve to avoid a collision.

Our tour guide Danika (spelling??) Was without doubt, the best I've ever encountered. Her knowledge about Jamaica is second to none and she made it the whole day fun and exciting. From the point of pickup our guide Sisi was fantastic.. Dunno river falls is amazing, stunning and well worth a visit. Nine mile paying respect to the amazing Bob Marley is a must and learning about him from a very good guide. The whole day was very long with almost 8 hours of travelling but well worth it. A must when you visit Jamaica.

Dunns waterfall is an absolute must, it's an exhilarating experience and the guide that take you up the falls are fab. 9 mile is a long drive up some very bad roads and once there it's like a huge opportunity for the guide to ask for tips at every available opportunity. Once there, there isn't much to see and there is only 1 part that is original. You can't help feeling a bit robbed when you leave, literall Our driver and guide were excellent lots of information about the area and super friendly

It was nice to have a sensible driver, the walk up the falls felt a little rushed but it was still ok, I felt that there was no need for the product chat at the beginning of the bob marley bit of the tour, I’m sure if people wanted to but “cake” or marijuana they would have done at the end, just felt this took up time better spent actually going around Bob Marley premises

Definitely recommend. We had a bit of a mix up with the pick up that nearly made us miss the trip but that was resolved thankfully. Tour guide - Maureen was extremely knowledgeable about the island and happy to answer all any questions. She was brilliant. Dunns River - such a beautiful location. The falls were challenging at times to climb and but made it more of an achievement when you got to the top. 9 Miles - very interesting, tour guide was brilliant. We had a real downpour so impacted.

The app said duration 8 hours but did not say this did not include travel to and from sites. Our 8 hour trip became over 14 hours which was way too long. I would suggest you split into two separate tours. Having said that Dunns River Falls was fantastic Nine Mile not so much all they wanted was tips at every stage of the tour.

Our guide and driver were both brilliant- our guide was informative, knowledgeable and great fun, and we felt safely transported by our driver who also joined in with the laughs. Loved the excursion the only negative was the meal we had between excursions was poor where we ate there were flies everywhere and the place didn’t look clean, the chicken they gave us was all bones, would have much preferred a sandwich and drink at dunns falls. Also with the guide being Jamaican she took us to a stall outside nine mile which felt very comfortable when we were all asked if we wanted to buy weed. But overall very good

Guide took us to a shop where she obviously gets commission. The river falls was amazing but spoiled by everyone on the make. Guide then takes us to shack outside of the Bob Marley tour so her friend can sell his drugs to us. The tour was also spoiled by everyone wanting a tip for nothing

Dunn's falls was, brilliant and the best trip and a must whilst in Jamaica. The guides were brilliant and the climb was fantastic. The 9 mile elements is a drive into the mountain which was very bumpy to the bob marley musilium. We had a guide who was stoned on drugs and it's pushed everywhere for you to buy them along side not another T shirt.. Its a long day out but worth it. The bus guide was fantastic and made the day.. We stopped off for food as part of the trip which was ok

Early start but that was worth it as we were the first on the falls. However the guide mandated that we had to buy water shoes or we would not get onto the falls. The TUI description details only said appropriate shoes. When we got there many were wearing trainers and not water shoes, so felt a bit “conned”. However that does not detract from the fact it was amazing! Nine miles was truly reverent and will stay in my memories forever. One love ????

Dunn River Falls was excellent, well organised from start to finish. The Nine Mile Tour was interesting especially to see Bob Marleys tomb. Even though we know weed is a big part of the Jamaican culture we don't think it shoukd be promoted to us eg being taken to a wooden hut and offered all kinds of weed to buy in all forms especially as there were kids present.

The pick up from our hotel was delayed with no update, it was nearly 1 hour and 20 mins late and we didn’t know what to do, was just going to head for breakfast when it arrived, flat tyre couldn’t be helped. Dunn's River Falls was simply amazing and so glad that we did it. Nine Mile was very interesting and worthwhile. The only negative as with most trips in Jamaica is the state of the smaller roads, narrow, windy and full of potholes.

I enjoyed the Dunn river falls experience. Guilds were great. Nine miles was ok. Visiting Bobs home and resting place. Was a privalige. Being rounded up like cattle and taken to buy weed from locals. ********** annoying. You told to go outside Bobs home and taken to a little super market and get hounded to purchase. Weed, weed cake weed tea etc. That left me very annoyed. Was like going on a trip with tax collectors.

This excursion exceeded my expectations, the guide and coach driver were lovely. She told us i teresting facts all the way there. The actual climb of Dunns River was amazing and the Dunns River guide and photographer were amazing and made it extra fun. The Nine mile also was so chilled and poignant, made me appreciate Bob a little bit more, knowing more facts about him. It's very authentic, Jamican so there's blue humour, weed and patois all the way. Had the best day, the highlight of our trip.

Tanya our guide was brilliant. Knowledgeable & funny. Day was spoilt by local guide at Nine Mile. Dunns River is one of the most beautiful places I’ve seen. Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures as was warned multiple times your camera would get wet. That’s cool, but really could have done with 20 minutes free time and access to the bus so I could take my own photos (had to subsequently leave my camera on there). The insistent tipping was irritating. It’s a really expensive excursion already without having to tip for every little thing and person we interacted with.

We knew the journey from Negril to Dunns River would be a long journey so we were prepared for that. What we didn’t like was the journey from Dunns River to the Nine Mile Tour, that journey was very long. It should be split into two parts. Dunns River was fantastic. A great experience and a must do for all the family. The nine mile tour about Bob Marley was very reflective. I do think they tried to make money by persuading you to take a “Bob Marley shot” and buying a candle to show respect.

Fab day out. Might be easier for some to start after you come under the road as its a bit easier after that. I hated having to walk through that market. It's horrible it spoils the day. I was a little worried to climb the falls but to be honest with a positive attitude & obviously mobility it was really good fun. We had a guide take us through the falls & we (the tourists) & the guide formed a human chain & we helped each other up/down. Ages ranged from over 70 to under 10! Remember to bring water shoes with you. Robert our video man was brilliant too, We have purchased the video & pics, very reasonable price at US$40. Nine Mile (BM) was interesting too, if you are a fan!

Our guide Tania and driver Beckford were first class. Tania was knowledgeable and friendly. The trip itself is LONG. Driving in Jamaica is not like the UK. Dunns River was fantastic but is tough if you’re not fit. Sellers at the end are ok if you say no and don’t accept any gifts. Lunch was ok but could have been better. 9 Mile I found very disappointing. I’ve no problems with ganja but the guide was totally gone and it just felt like everyone was earning from Bobs death. Expect to tip EVERYONE!

Much longer day than expected, ticket said the tour was 8 hours, we left at 06:30am and didn’t get back until 9pm, it took four hours to get back to negril and there were no stops on the crowded bus. Guide and driver were good. The actual experience is mostly about smoking cannabis, they show you where bob was born and laid to rest, very little of his life in between. Lots of people expecting tips from you on this trip.

Dunns River falls were great and interesting to see Bob Marley’s childhood home and final resting place. The not so great, stopping for 50 minutes at a tacky gift shop where clearly the tour guide are on commission as they give you a bus number sticker when you go in which has no correlation to the bus whatsoever ! 15 mins max would have sufficed ! For £236 for 2 people I would have expected complimentary drinks on the 8-9 hour return (including rest stops)! Nothing available whatsoever !

Absolutely brilliant day from start to finish. Our guide and driver were fantastic especially our guide who gave us the history of Jamaica as we drove through the towns. They were always looking out for us and our best interests and we’re always ready to answer any of our questions. My only issue was that the tour online said 8 hours but it was more like 12 hours which is fine but it is a lot of travelling so not ideal for people who may get travel sickness.

The trip to waterfalls was amazing , photos are not giving any justice to this place. What i can recommened is that you take with you water shoes ( it's a must) , waterproof cover for your phone ( if you want to take nice pictures with your phone ) . Our tour guide Maureen was brilliant!! She was friendly, funny and very knowledgable. We learnt so much on the journey from Montego Bay to Ochios Rios, and it actually made the 2 hour drive go quicker. The driver was fab too. I would’ve liked more time at the Dunn’s River Falls as I believe there was more to do/see there. I also would’ve liked longer at Bob’s, however I think the rain was the cause for that. Overall a brilliant day!!

Staying in Negril is quite a way from Dunns and Nine Mile tour so be prepared for a full day out. Both were amazing experiences in their own way, need to be fairly fit to walk the falls. Nine Mile is a window into Bobs past but the road there is an hour or more from Dunns and not the easiest ride.

Enjoyed the Tui tour guides knowledge and the overall experience was excellent. The Dunn's River Fall felt a little rushed and the guides on site were a little over zealous with regards tips! The journey to Nine Miles was quite arduous, 2.5 hours travelling along windy rural roads that was a challenge with a young family. Dunn’s River was fantastic, definitely recommend! The guides will make a video and take photos as you go, which are 40 USD to buy at the end (totally worth it, all great quality). Nine Mile was an interesting tour, but really not worth the amount charged. At over half the overall price (Dunn’s River alone was £46pp), it’s really not worth the money. Glad I went and wouldn’t want to go without the fantastic guides, but think I’d rather do Dunn’s River twice!

Amazing experience. Make sure you have water shoe's as you wont be able to do the waterfalls without them. Also, make sure you go in the morning as its very touristy and if you go in the afternoon when its busy then i dont think the experience would be as good as it would be to busy.

The Dunn’s River part of the trip was a bit of a let down. The guide and driver were very good but the falls guide from Dunn’s was very rude. He was initially very helpful helping people who struggled (including me) and when I asked to leave said no, so I did anyway. I thanked him at the end and he requested that I made sure I remembered this in his tip! He followed us all to the bus and demanded tips and actually asked families for money on the bus who had not tipped. Nine mile was fantastic!

The journey time was very long. Over 9 hours in total there are back again because of traffic. The mini bus was VERY small so the journey was very uncomfortable. The bus had to be small due to the narrow roads, but it would have been nice to know this before hand because I would have probably booked a private tour instead if I had known. ‘Guides’ assisted us at Dunn river falls but you do not need to go with them. You can wander around freely and climb the falls do not let them bully you.

The excursion literally started when we got on the bus, our guide was so knowledgeable and taught us loads about Jamaica (& I’m half Jamaican lol) bus was fully air conditioned, lunch stop was good. The tours at Dunn’s River & 9 Mile were fabulous but they are a very, very long way from Negril. We were on the road for 13 hours! We were transported on a very small, uncomfortable mini bus & I was sat with my feet on the wheel arch. Not what I expect when spending £90+ on an outing!!

Wow, we have done some travelling & tours but this is THE BEST tour we have ever done! The tour is fantastic the waterfall is unreal & learning about the history & culture of Bob Marley’s home town was amazing…once in a life time experience What made the tour was the guide Jerome! He is the most caring, considerate, funny, friendly, knowledgable guy & completely made the tour for us. We had sore cheeks at the end of the day from laughing so much. We all felt like family, it was interactive, we sang all the way & can now speak patwa yeh man! We felt safe from start to finish, Earl is the sickest driver in the country, foot down & hilarious! A brilliant experience from start to finish. A very knowledgeable guide on our bus made the trip to Dunns River Falls very interesting. At the falls we were looked after very well by our guide - great climbing up the rocks - and we aren't the fittest! Also paid extra fir the video - worth doing as even with a waterproof pouch you won't get all the camera shots you want. Nice lunch by the beach at The Roxborough then on yo Nine Mile - it is a good hour's drive up but we'll worth it and plenty to see on the way up (and down). Tour at Nine Mile was very good. It us a long day - nearly 11 hours so might not suit those who can't sit long - it definitely is not for children.

The excursion was excellent, Arlene our guide and Elliot the driver were both professional and fantastic. It was my second time doing this trip up to Nine Mile and I don't think I will get bored of that drive up the mountains. Arlene had plenty of information to share about the island which was interesting and yet she didn't overpower the trip, leaving us to our own devices for part of the journey. When a bus broke down so we couldn't pass, Elliot was quick to jump out and help the driver to keep the road clear, at no point did we feel un-nerved about this situation. I think it all felt a little rushed, I think overall we should have had more time at the various stops, especially when wandering around the gift shops and craft markets and when we stopped for lunch. It would have been nice to have a few drinks at the bar before moving on our way. Other than that it was a great day out.

However the Bob Marley experience was very short and we felt like it was not very informative really, just showed us photos of family and no real story’s. Also you where expected to tip and buy products every 10steps! We do not mind tipping at all if we feel the experiences was worth it!

My Wife and I were originally only interested in the Nine Mile Tour but for the day we wanted to go it was only available if we went to the Dunn's River Falls too, and in the end we found the Dunn's River Falls more enjoyable! The excursion started with the Dunn's River Falls, and it was a very enjoyable and unique experience to climb the waterfalls, but make sure you have good sea shoes that can grip the wet rocks well as you climb up and that you are in good health, there were a couple of women in their late 50's in our group who dropped out of the climb before halfway and took the stairs that are to the side of the waterfalls. I would also take a waterproof camera too as there are some lovely views that you will want to capture. My only gripe is that as you walk hand in hand with your group, you are rushed very quickly up through the waterfalls, you spend a lot of the time looking down to make sure of your footing when you would like to be taking in the breath-taking scenery around you which only happens fleetingly. It would have been nice to have relaxed for a while with my Wife in the water pools as you go up and take in the views instead of being rushed through, but I guess more money is to be made by getting as many tourists through as quickly as (safely) possible. The Nine Mile Tour was next and before we got there we were taken to a lovely sea-view restaurant for an excellent lunch. The journey to Nine Mile is long and the climb through the hills is breath-taking but the roads are in very poor condition so no chance of a quick snooze on the coach before you arrive! For huge Bob Marley fans like my Wife and I we were very much looking forward to going to Nine Mile and pay our respects to an artist who gave so much to his fans in many ways, and although we got to see his final resting place, it did feel again that we were being rushed through when you would have liked to have spent some time to contemplate and take in where you were. There is not a lot else to see here and the Tour was over fairly quickly, but we were glad to have come. The whole excursion from Montego Bay and back was about 10 hours, so it was a long day, and maybe it is better to do each trip separately (but more expensive?), but overall it was an enjoyable and unique experience that will live long in our memories.

Dunns river was a fun and fab experience climbing the rocks to the top. I thought it was going to be bigger than it was but loved it. Guide was good. Take a waterproof phone pouch to take your own photos and a photographer also takes pics and a video for $40. This is okay but I preferred some of my own pictures. The market hustlers you have to walk through are full on and you're warned of their tricks prior to this. The 9 mile is a good hour drive up the mountain and everyone wants your money from the time you get off the bus but it's fab for Bob Marley fans so see where he was born, raised and laid to rest. It's an eye opener to culture and humble lifestyles but a full experience of 9 mile would give a wider view of this rather than just Bobs family home. Long day but good experience that we really enjoyed.

A must if you want to see some of “real Jamaica”, and I don’t mean Bob Marley’s House or the Dunn’s River Falls. Driving through the villages gives you a real flavour of island life. Alex, our tour guide was incredible. He knew his stuff, he shared his knowledge and could answer every question. He was so passionate about Jamaica, it was lovely to see and great to learn about the different areas along the drive. He went above and beyond for the guests even arranging ATM visits in rural locations. Dunn’s River Falls was a fab activity, the staff there made it fun, got involved with taking pics and making use of the time. Beware of the Craft Fair on the way out.. you will be approached from all directions, either don’t make eye-contact and keep on moving or politely decline and head for the exit! Lunch was nice, a small cafe on the coast. Traditional meal. The drive to Nine Mile is rough and fairly long, however the views are amazing. Big shout out to our driver Earl! What a guy. Those roads are not pleasant but he knew his stuff and we felt very safe with him in control. Alex kept us entertained with stories and the history of the Rastafari. Nine Miles itself, not what we expected… but interesting none the less. There is pretty much a wall built around Bob’s house, his Mum’s house and their resting places. The staff here are extremely passionate! It’s a long day - especially if you’re the first pick-up and last drop off but also so worth it!

Brilliant trip, good information from the tour guide. Good to stop off at the shop for a look around before going to Dunn's River. Guys at the waterfall were friendly and helpful. Dunnes river falls, what an experience! Quite strenuous but so much fun. Must be physically fit as the waterfall can be strong in places. If taking a GoPro keep some battery life until you get near to the top. Videographer there to take photos and film all the way. Overall experience was good at dunns River and Bob marley House. Upon booking it needs to be clear that water shoes are required and Need to be purchased beforehand, although you can buy them at gift shop/or at dunns River. We are vegetarian so lunch was not great, also as we stayed in negril the time to get there and back is pretty long so the price of £90 to spend majority of the day in the car is pretty steep.

An experience you just have to do while in Jamaica. The Dunn's river falls are breathtaking.. listen to the guides that escort you up them.. and be prepared to tip for their services... The Bob Marley part of the excursion, well, I leave that for you to make up your own mind.. enjoyable but definitely different.. personally wouldn't recommend for children..

Our driver and tour guide were fantastic, felt so safe and it was very informative. My only negatives were that we were not prepared to be asked for additional tips inside the experiences. We had a separate guide provided by both Dunn's River and nine mile. This means you end up tipping 5 different sets of people which can end up quite costly on top of the money that has already been paid.
