If you've ever dreamt of swimming with dolphins, here's your chance. The setting is Zoomarine, Portugal's famous animal and marine park.

First up, you'll learn about the beautiful bottle-nosed dolphins you're about to meet and be given a briefing on what to do. Then it's time to wriggle into your wetsuit and jump into the lagoon for your half-hour encounter. Under the watchful eye of Zoomarine's trainers, you'll get to swim and splash around with these friendly and loveable creatures. Stroke their tummies, enjoy a dorsal fin tow, give them a cuddle and maybe even get a dolphin kiss.

Spectators can watch and take photos from nearby, too. And although it's an unforgettable experience, you can buy photos of your encounter afterwards as a special reminder. Places are limited, so it's best to book early.
