The real Sahara Desert is several hundred miles away but there's a little-known place near Agadir that locals refer to as the ‘mini-Sahara'. You'll explore typical Berber villages and the beautiful of Souss Massa national park, including the opportunity to experience the desert on this 4x4 tour from Agadir.

Your journey kicks off with a drive to the oasis of Ait Chrif, stopping at the typical Berber village of Ait Milk on the way. Then the real fun begins as we head off-road through the banana plantations, where you'll also be able to stroll amongst the banana palms, and then on to the ‘mini-Sahara' desert.

After all that excitement it's time for a relaxed Moroccan lunch of tagine, salads, and local fruits before we visit Arbalou, where you'll learn all about the water irrigation system here. We'll make our way to the ancient silver capital of Tiznit to see the walled ramparts and walk through the medina to admire the town's renowned Berber silver jewellery.
