What to expect
Start your tour by meeting at the starting point and traveling to the reindeer camp. Once you arrive you'll have a chance to feed them and walk around the camp before heading out for your once-in-a-lifetime sleigh ride.On your return, you'll sit down around the fire to enjoy a hot drink while dinner is being prepared. You'll get to experience a traditional three-course dinner inside a candlelit "gamme" (traditional Sami hut).During dinner, there will be storytelling of Sami culture and a Joik performance (traditional Sami folk song). Meeting point:
Meet at the bus terminal at Tromsø Havn Prostneset 20 min before the tour starting time. There are two entrances: One is by the buses and one is between the Terminal and the Clarion Edge. Your guides will be where the buses are ready to depart to camp. If you do go to the wrong entrances, walk through the terminal to the other entrance and you will find them there. The guides are wearing blue jackets with the logo 'Tromso Arctic Reindeer' on them.

Ablauf und Organisation hervorragend; traditionelles Essen mit Rentiereintopf -> Geschmackssache, Rest des Menüs ausgezeichnet; sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Mitarbeiter; lediglich unter der Schlittenfahrt hatten wir uns etwas mehr vorgestellt (kleine Runde durch den Schnee im Kreis auf Schlitten sitzend geführt) - insgesamt aber 100%ig weiterzuempfehlen.

Insgesamt sehr schön. Aufgrund des Wetters wurde die Schlittenfahrt vorher per Email abgesagt. Es soll eine Teilrückzahlung erfolgen , die bisher noch nicht geleistet wurde. Sehr tolles Erlebnis und tolle Mitarbeiter!

Sehr schön und vor allem interessant war der Vortrag der jungen Sami Frau am Lagerfeuer. Spaß hat auch das Füttern der Rentiere gemacht. Sehr schade war, dass lt. Veranstalter aufgrund des stürmischen Wetters der Vortage die Rentier-Schlittenfahrt ausgefallen ist.
