Come along on this guided day trip from York and explore the picturesque North York Moors National Park, breathe in the sea breeze at the seaside town of Whitby and enjoy an optional steam train ride on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.

Your first stop is the traditional National Park village of Hutton-le-Hole, where you'll be able to wander amongst traditional stone-built houses, see the sheep roaming, or treat yourself to a Yorkshire Brew in one of the cafes! You'll then head off up over the North York Moors for some photo stops, passing through the quaint and picturesque Yorkshire villages that lead down into Whitby.

Enjoy some free time at the seaside town of Whitby, see the place that inspired the Dracula books at Whitby Abbey and marvel at the bustling port and waterfront! From here, you can choose to ride the North Yorkshire Moors Railway for a 45-minute moorland rail journey to Goathland.

Admire the magic of the famous Harry Potter filming location which became Hogsmeade station and watch as the train puffs in! The tour will regroup here and will then head back to York through the Howardian Hills where you can take in panoramic views of the Howardian Hills and Castle Howard.
