Enjoy a one-hour horseback ride to discover the Baratz Lake, in Alghero.

You will ride along the only natural lake of the entire island, which is surrounded by a lush pine forest rich in Mediterranean vegetation including the strawberry trees, myrtle, rosemary, lavender, as well as numerous species of wild orchids.

There are several rare species of animals that inhabit the lake, such as the freshwater tortoise (Emys orbicularis), the coot (Fulica atra) and the mallard. From the pine forest you will ride to the imressive sand dunes up to 5 meters high.
