What to expect
Abandoned at the end of the 14th century by the Kings of France, the Palais de la Cité consisted of the Conciergerie, Palais de Justice and the Sainte Chapelle.The Conciergerie took on a judicial role after the Kings left and part of the palace was converted into prison cells where hundreds of prisoners during the French Revolution were emprisoned before getting guillotined. Its most famous prisoner was Marie-Antoinette.
Along with the Conciergerie, the Sainte Chapelle is one of the earliest surviving buildings of the Capetian royal palace on the Île de la Cité and is considered among the highest achievements of the Rayonnant period of Gothic architecture.

The Chapelle is a much shorter experience than the Concierge but is more interesting to look at. The Concierge gives chance to learn lots of history and is very interesting.

The Musement site was the only one that got us short term access to a timed entry pass. Access went smoothly and the church was beautiful. This was one of the best visits we had to any of the Paris attractions.

Le eticket a bien fonctionné pour la Ste-Chapelle.
Par contre à la Conciergerie le eticket n’était plus accessible (faute de réseau?).
(Le stress monte!)
Ils ont fait une recherche avec le no. de réservation sans succès (votre site ne leur étant pas accessible).

Le problème réside dans le fait que les entrées de la Ste Chapelle soit couplée avec le Tribunal de Grande Instance. Un contrôle (fait particulièrement par un préposé qui devrait aller suivre des cours de politesse et d'amabilité) des plus complets, portique, passage de tout ce que vous portez sur plateau etc... Ca se comprend pour le tribunal, mais pas pour la Ste Chapelle. A part ce désagrément, tout va bien et c'est magnifique et ça vaut le déplacement.

Nous avions une réservation à la St Chapelle pour 15h, ce n’était pas indiqué sur le billet qu’il fallait arriver bien avant cela.
Surprise en arrivant, il y avait une fille d’attente immense. Nous n’aurions jamais pu rentrer pour 15h .
Finalement on nous a laissé passer.
C’était magnifique!!

Bien qu'ayant des billets , la file d'attente a été très longue . Le service de sécurité est débordé ( peut être par manque d'effectifs) et manque nettement de courtoise ( voire politesse) en particulier avec les touristes étrangers qui ne sont en rien responsables de la situation.

Venue was excellent but very disappointed that we had prebooked our tickets for a specific time and we still had to queue and didn’t enter the venue until 30 minutes after our allocated time. People behind us in the queue were in the same position and weren’t able to stay. Bad planning/communication
