What to expect

Make the most of an experience in the open air together with local Bedouins and discover the nature and culture of the place. Bedouins learn to eat healthy food in small amounts, from an early age. They make their meals at home or in the desert, grow their own vegetables, eat meat they have reared and cook fish they have caught by themselves. Before lunch is cooked, the Bedouin people will offer you some snacks: fresh bread with cheese mixed with olive oil and natural herbs as well as honey and Bedouin tea. You will be able to ride camels, or discover the area along the beach, while your guide provides interesting information about the Bedouin daily life and traditions.

Nabq National Park is a little closer to Sharm El Sheikh, around 30 km to the north of the bustling resort, where the coral reefs stretch along the length of the coast and where the desert meets the sea. Nabq is a protected marine reserve established in 1992, in order to protect the coral reefs and the mangrove fringe which extends along the shoreline. The reserve also serves to preserve the way of life of the native Bedouin people.
