Co zapamiętać

Amazing experience. The staff at the centre were welcoming & very helpful in getting us kitted out for the ride. They were careful to select horses suitable for each person's level of experience - in my case none since I was about 18. I forgot how old I was & had some doubt as to whether I could actually mount the horse - problem solved with a helpful push up. The ride was for around an hour along paths through lava fields - very picturesque. Guide made frequent checks to see that all was okay.

They were warm and friendly. Everything was explained thoroughly and even a verbal riding lesson which was effective. Horses were beautiful well schooled and nice mannered. Couldn't fault it.

It was great that we got to get to know our horse before riding. Having the opportunity to go slow or fast track was a bonus. The staff were fantastic, they took their time to take our photos making sure everyone was happy. It was not rushed at all It was really relaxing experience. I would definitely do it again and recommend to everyone.

Amazing experience, wonderful views and it was lovely how the guides took each of our pictures on the horse. The only negative was when instructions were given by the guide leading the ride, it was impossible to hear further back.

Absolutely fantastic experience, the staff really look after you from getting u geared up and a intro video about Icelandic horses to picking out a horse that suits your skills in riding (only my second time ever) and talk to you all way through the experience.... Brilliant!!

Lovely greeting on arrival instructions extra warmth clothing heat pads helmet given matched and mounted to my horse for trailing/cantering in icy extreme weather It was an amazing experience Hotchocolate needed afterwards staff dedicated very friendly an professional Absolutely recommended Thanks

The staff were very attentive and dealt with everyone as individuals. They took photos with our devices for us, no hard sell gift type thing as you get in the UK. Clearly the horses are well looked after and enjoy their work

Wonderful trip with the Icelandic horses worth every penny. Clear explanations. Guides were lovely and chatty. After a walk with the horses as a group we were split up so those with experience went one way and those with less experience or wanted just to walk went another we were out for about 1.30hrs to 2 hours set in a beautiful winder wonderland scenery. I would definitely book this again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the horses well looked after. My only complaint was as an experienced rider, they didn't split the group up into riders and non riders, they asked everyone at first what your level was to match you with the right horse, then a short way into the ride just asked who wanted to go slow or faster, too many just said faster but could not control their horse or indeed get out of walking pace.I did speak to the staff afterwards but they said they were short staffed, so did not have enough escorts to accompany the ride. Also said I should have booked the Viking tour if I wanted to get the full experience, this would have gave me the ride I was expecting.I explained that I had booked through my tour operator and was not given this option, that is something I think you should make people aware of when booking as I would have booked that option.

The overall experience was perfect. Easy transfer, all the staff/guides were extremely friendly, helpful and patient. I have never rode a horse before but enjoyed my experience thoroughly.

Great

It was lovely to do something that you couldn't do in another country, experiencing the Icelandic horse. Seeing the country from a different perspective and not through a bus window. It wasn't as long as you first led to believe because of having the safety video and getting everyone on the horses. With that said it was enjoyable.
