The trip around the harbour was great & Mahon is worth a visit, but the Gin "Distillery" is just a sales opportunity to try & buy different types of Gins from the shop rather than look around the Distillery. Still worth a visit though.

This experience is worth every penny. From pick up to drop off Nicola gave us all the history of the island as we drive from the east to Mahon. We had nearly 2 hours at the market and Mahon shopping centre, then back in the coach down to the harbour. The gin distillery experience is sooo much fun. You basically help yourself to sample all the gins and liquors - all delicious. Then a stroll down to the san Joan boat for an hours boat tour around the harbour. It’s stunning!

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable on the island of menorca and gave us constant info on the bus journey to mahon regarding places and points of interest. We had plenty of time to walk around mahon market and the town itself. A brief visit to the gin factory for sampling of the produce and the opportunity to buy and a competitive price. Finally the harbour tour for approximate hour with on-board recorded guide. Enjoyable day

Very enjoyable visit to Mahon, boat trip had good commentary and views, gin distillery was also worth doing. The only downside was we didn't know how steep the road to the harbour was.

Frances our guide was really friendly and knowledgeable. Made us all laugh. The boat trip was good and could have had longer in distillery, however the drinks on offer to try was fantastic 👌 would have preferred less time in mahon due to how hot it was but cannot control the weather.

The Guide was useless,virtually no commentary on the way to Mahon, did'nt have to do anything on the boat trip but sit down and enjoy the view. Route marched us back to the coach and across the road directly into the Gin factory but no tour of the factory merely tastsing the gin samples in a small area and then back to the coach and back to the hotel again little to no guide participation. He clearly wanted to be elsewhere. We enjoyed the boat trip.

Nicola knew her stuff. Great day out , very informative. The Gin distillery was a lovely original place and the Gins were fabulous. Didn’t buy anything due to liquid restrictions going through the airport, shame. The boat trip was definitely worth doing , again very informative and it’s always great to see an island from the sea

The guide was excellent and very informative. Mahon was better than expected with some real hidden gems. Coffee overlooking the harbour high up at 2 euros a cup was amazing value. Gin distillery was a good addition and the gin shots tasted great. Then to cap it off with a trip around the harbour was fab. Thoroughly recomend

We arrived in Mahon an hour before anything was open and were left to our own devices for nearly 3 hours. We were then taken to the gin distillery, rushed through that in about 20 minutes after the guide had finished talking to people who did not want to visit the distillery. We were required to walk from the gin tasting to the boat in the midday sun and then back to the coach after the boat trip. Could have been so much better

Fab tour! We started with around 2 hours free time to explore the centre of Mahon including the market and some great little shops followed by a quick drive to the harbour where we had around 30-minutes in the gin distillery to try a variety of gins and liquors for free (definitely buy the slushy pomade for €3 though…very yummy!). We then had a short walk to the boat for the harbour cruise. Whilst we didn’t see a lot under water, the views across the harbour and some of the properties were fab!

Our guide Nicola was excellent and so friendly. She was very helpful and caring. Our experience was on a very hot day and she was very of this. The coach driver dropped us off outside our hotel to save us walking in the heat.

The tour was described to us as a tour with minimal walking - just from the bus to the boat. However this turned out to be a very long walk as one of my party has a problem walking . If she had known the length of the walk required she would have brought her walking aid. The Tui rep at the hotel must have been aware of her disability so I assume her knowledge of the tour was insufficient.

2 x cruise ships in the harbour spoilt it. we were not able to see Mahon’s 3 churches from the boat or take a decent panoramic photo of what we came to see. Then the hoards of cruise ship passengers spoilt the experience back on land. We would not have gone had we known the horrible cruise ships would be there. Think Tui should make clients aware in advance and reduce the cost if cruise ships are in the harbour. They were horrible to see.

We really enjoyed this experience and would highly recommend it. The boat trip was a fabulous cruise and the information was very informative. The guide on the bus and gin tour Nicola couldn’t be better she was so nice and had so much information and could answer all questions. The gin tour was great fun. Nicola helped giving us information on the shopping experience and market so that helped a lot. We would recommend this trip very highly.

Bus arrived promptly at 8am at pick up point . Lovely air conditioned coach , fab driver , can’t remember his name . The guide was Nicola Woodside , she was amazing . She spoke to us all in way to Mahon , very clear and informative and such a friendly caring lady who knew the job inside out . Enjoyed boat trip , gin tasting and 2 hours in Mahon . Very enjoyable and good value for money .

It’s was a very long journey, the guide decided to talk about the problems the island is having because of tourism. Such as 1/3rd population 1/3rd agricultural 1/3rd tourism Which made you feel uncomfortable

I think the boat was falsely advertised, saying it’s a glass bottom boat, which gives the impression you could walk over the glass and fish be down by your feet. The problem with it being downstairs it was compact and had the strong smell of petrol/oil which subtracted from the experience

We enjoyed the Mahon trip overall. My husband has mobility issues but the coach dropped us near the market area where he could sit and enjoy the cafes. I chose to wander round independently. The coach took us down to the harbour. The gin tasting was a bit of a scrum with a lot of people in a small space. For my husband it was quite a walk to the boat, though flat and level going, on a hot afternoon. We both enjoyed the boat trip.

The boat trip was ok but we only saw 2 fish. The market was the same as any other market so we did a walk around the town but it would have been nice to have had a guided tour of Mahon instead. The gin distillery was in fact a gin tasting. Drinking neat gin in the middle of the day was not for us I'm afraid.

I was a little disappointed with the Gin factory part of the tour. I was under the impression that we would see the factory and not just the shop. My idea of fun is not standing in a room with two large coach parties jostling for a taste of gins. Very poorly organised!

Good content & variety on trip with independent walk through town, gin distillery with plenty of free sampling followed by a very good informative boat tour. My only slight gripe is that we are staying in The Santo Tomas Hotel & we had a 20 min walk up to the TUI Blue Victoria which then drove back past our hotel so, a pick up from there would hve been appreciated!!

Coach trip very good Francis was excellent with his commentary & kindness. Tony driver brilliant a good driver. The walk was misleading to the boat far more than 6mins from the coach. Boat clean but hard to see buildings if you were sat on the RHS. Not enough time at the distillery & the market was disappointing.

Good value for the transport and the blue glass-bottom boat, though the boat is extremely crowded on this tour. It’s better to do the boat trip independently when it’s less busy. The gin experience is walkable and free, so there’s no need to buy gin there since it’s readily available at the airport. The bus then goes up the hill to an overpriced market, but you can get the same items at the indoor market by doing a walking and taking the lift instead. The trip should ideally finish by siesta 2pm

Guide, Daniel, was excellent - very friendly and informative. Boat tour very enjoyable. Gin distillery just a sales stop - not necessary. Would be better if the process of making the gin, adding the botanicals etc was described rather than ‘here you are - all the different gins’

The boat trip was great with the commentary about all the history around the harbour. Wasn’t over impressed with the gin tasting ( it was too busy to enjoy the tasting of the gin ) the market was great no haggling so enjoyed that . But overall the trip was great and fully enjoyed it . I’ve forgotten the ladies name who did the talking on the bus about the history of the island she was really good at her job so well done TUI.

The coach driver Zante was a very safe driver and courteous. Nicola the guide was incredibly friendly and full of interesting information. Myself and my family loved the whole trip, especially the boat. My only recommendation would be that the distillery visit be at least 10 mins longer as it felt a bit rushed.

The boat trip was interesting. Daniel our guide was full of knowledge and could answer all my questions. The Gin distillery was a disappointment. We were expecting a guided tour of the distillery with information. But it was just Daniel telling us what was in each bottle and said we could try as many as we wanted. We have been to a Rum distillery in Spain with super tour and information how it all started etc to modern day process. Also a brewery in Vietnam where again loads of information .

I always believe that any trip experience starts with the guide and Silva was excellent. From the minute she picked us up at the hotel she was welcoming and extremely knowledgeable. She made the day, despite it being grey and cloudy, a warm and fun day. Loved the gin tasting, that was really good. 10/10 overall so glad we booked via yourselves.

Le guide pour la demi journée parlait un peu français : intéressant. La distillerie est exclusivement un lieu de vente! Les horaires sont flottants. Marché ok mais trop tôt : pas d'animation. The audio that accompanied the boat trip was clear and informative. All the staff were friendly. Instructions for the day were clear. We had enough time to get a flavour of Mahón and got back at a reasonable time. A really enjoyable trip.

We thought the guide was good and knowledgeable. However found the trip to be more like a group taxi service into Mahon. We arrived too early and all the shops were closed, we’d only just had breakfast at the hotel so didn’t want to go into a cafe or restaurant. The free time was too long for us and half the time would have been sufficient as there isn’t too much to do there. The market was the same vendors as the day before when we had been in Cuitadella.

Tour guide was excellent, knowledgeable and courteous throughout. Good value for a short trip to Mahón, the boat cruise was very good with excellent commentary - the only downside was the visit to the gin distillery, Not really a tour but an opportunity to taste and buy local gins, the only visual guide was viewing a copper still behind a window! Some information by the guide but NO distillery staff only at the tills!! Overall good value.

Der Ausflugsverlauf wurde komplett umgedreht als angeboten und beschrieben. Nach einer frühen Abholung am Hotel gab es nicht die angekündigte Hafenrundfahrt per Boot, sondern einen 3 stündigen Aufenthalt im Zentrum von Mahon zur freien Verfügung. Obwohl vor der Buchung gefragt, war durch den Verlauf die Familientauglichkeit nicht gegeben. Auch die ausschließlich englischsprachige Begleitung wurde vorenthalten.

If it’s a boat trip you want, this is not for you. Out of the 5 hours, 20 minutes was spent on the boat. The boat was uncomfortable with plastic seats that you’re likely to stick to in the heat. The distillery was just a shop and the rest of the time just involved ALOT of walking. No food or drinks provided. Wasn’t worth the €157 I paid. Could have got a taxi to Mahón for much less. Couldn’t wait to get back to the hotel. Left with a migraine due to boredom

I bought the trip for the gin distillery and boat trip, boat trip was good however the trip says not wheelchair suitable which I assume was due to the boat, if pushchairs can be used and stored at the rear of the boat then so can foldable wheelchairs, the walk to the boat is further than you think and this meant the two hours in the city were spent sat in a cafe as my daughter could not manage to walk much further. The distillery should be described as a gin tasting only.

Iets meer tijd in Mahon hab beter geweest. Het bezoek aan de gin distillerij stelt niks voor, overrompeling van volk en maar 10 minuten binnen, het distilleren zelf niks van uitleg. De boottocht was zeer leuk en voor mij het beste van de trip.

Been on many tui trips, this however, nothing really told about mahon, could have gone local bus for couple of euros, gin distillery, only went into shop, leart or seen nothing about process etc, again could have gone ourselves for free.. boat trip was good, could have just paid ourselves. The trip was very good and very informative everyone was friendly. The boat trip was good but due to conditions didn’t get to see underwater not the crews fault but a shame. Didn’t enjoy the walk from the bus to boat a pity bus couldn’t drop off then park at bus place and pick up. (That is why a 9 for trip)Gin place was good haven’t been where you can help yourself. Nous avions acheté cette visite à l'hotel sachant que le guide en autocar ne parlait pas le français mais par contre on nous avait assuré que sur le bateau les commentaires étaient aussi en français. Après être monté sur le bateau, nous nous sommes vite aperçu qu'il n'y avait pas de français, nous sommes allés demandés à la guide qui est intervenu au niveau du personnel du bateau qui n'a pas donné suite. A l'hotel nous avons demandé une compensation, nous attendons la réponse. Très insatisfait

Gin Verkostung hatte geschlossen. Einkaufsläden in der Stadt hatten erst zwischen 10 und 10:30 geöffnet, und die Cafés ebenfalls. Somit hatte man kaum Zeit Mahon anzuschauen und einen Kaffee zu trinken. Geld wurde aber trotzdem komplett bezahlt und beim buchen auch nicht auf die geschlossene Gin Verkostung hingewiesen.

We were sold the trip by the tui rep at our hotel. When we boarded the coach, we were told that the gin distillery was closed du to festival time. No mention of this was made by our rep. If I had been given the correct information, then I would not have spent 90 euro on a trip with the highlight missing. I'm terribly upset and feel that we've been treated badly.

Our guide Daniel was excellent. His knowledge of Menorcan history was great and helped us to put what we saw into context. We were also lucky as our tour of Mahon was just one day before the big horse carnival, so the town was beautifully decorated. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t suitable for looking underwater on the glass bottomed boat trip, so we missed that experience.

The guide was very good from the start. Very knowledgeable about the area and didn't just waffle on. She was very precise and explained everything clearly. The boat trip was lovely. Very calm waters and running commentary very good (English, Spanish & German). Underwater part ok but nothing special. Gin distillery very good but a tour would have been more interesting 2hr free time plenty to look round & have a break.

Was disappointed with the boat trip. The trip on the boat was informative but the view from the bottom of the boat where the glass windows were was disappointing as they where not clean and unable to not see clearly because of that. Was expecting a guided tour around Mahon but was left to find our own way around there should be a choice, if you want to spend 2 hours looking around a market or a guided tour. The gin distillery was also disappointing. Was not expecting to be on a shopping trip.

Guide hat lediglich auf den ersten 10min der Busfahrt etwas auf Englisch vorgelesen. Deutsch war nicht möglich (diese Info wurde im Vorfeld nicht geteilt). Glasboden bei Bootsfahrt durfte nicht betreten/ besichtigt werden, da angeblich das Wetter zu schlecht war, dabei war kaum Wellengang. Im Vorfeld der Freizeit wurde wenig über Mahón erzählt, wünschenswert wäre wenigstens eine Karte mit den „wichtigsten“ Orten gewesen.

The harbour tour was lovely and relaxing.. well done. The gin distillery was interesting.. well done. The free time in Mahón I thought that you could do with more time there. To walk around the capital in the time we had I found we were rushing around to see and do everything.. so we didn’t have to stop and have something to eat or drink .. we were constantly looking at the time to make sure we were back on time to board the coach.. but a very pleasant trip .. just need more free time in Mahón.

Wenn mann eine Hafenrundfahrt anbietet mit Kindern, die sich auf den Glasboden freuen. Und das dann nicht der Fall ist, ist es für Kinder sehr langweilig und traurig. Die gin Destillerie war nichts besonderes besonders nicht für Kinder geeignet. Das beste war die shopping Tour, mit besuch der Kirche Santa Maria, wobei mann sich wünscht das eine kleine Führung sehr gut gewesen wäre.

Overall it was a well planned and organised trip. Francis is a fantastic guide he was fun and brought the history to life. The bay boat trip was great, with its information. Schöne Tour für schnellen Eindruck von Mahon, aber insgesamt zu kurz und dafür zu teuer. 13 jährige musste voll zahlen, sehr schade. Bootstour an Deck schön- toller Eindruck der Küste und Geschichte Unter Wasser leider nicht gute Sicht, wenig Fische, und sehr kurz überhaupt sichtbar Ginverköstigung lustig durch die Reiseleitung, lecker soweit, recht kurz- aber das war absolut ok Mahon selbst zu wenig Zeit- die Tour dürfte gerne mind 1 std länger gehen, dann wäre es besser

The highlight for us was the boat trip around the harbour. The experience guide, Nicola was excellent. Her commentary on the coach journey down to Mahon was excellent and very informative. We all enjoyed our free time in Mahon walking around and enjoying the shops and market (although we could have stayed for longer). The visit to the gin distillery was good and we enjoyed tasting the gin, the local tipple of Pomada and several of the liqueurs. We would definitely recommend this experience.

Thank you for the opportunity to join your boat tour. I appreciate the effort involved in organizing these experiences. However, I wanted to share that the tour did not quite meet my expectations, especially when compared to similar boat excursions I’ve enjoyed elsewhere. Typically, such tours include stops for swimming, refreshments, and a chance to relax and enjoy the surroundings. In this case, the experience felt quite limited after boarding, the boat ran briefly.

The rep, Nichola was excellent. Very informative and gave us a lot of information about the island of Menorca and it's history on the journey to Mahon, pointing out points of interest and landmarks on the way. Nichola also gave tips on what to do and go whilst in Mahon. The market itself had not fully set up when we arrived so we spent more time walking around Mahon itself than the actual market.

Definitiv war der Ausflug zu kurz--> man hätte die Fahrt besser eigenständig organisiert! Gin-Destillerie Besuch war eine reine Verkaufsaktion-- ja man konnte SCHNELL mal kosten, Zeit stand dafür aber nicht zur Verfügung-- man musste nach 15 MIn den Laden wieder verlassen. Über die Herstellung war gar nichts zu erfahren!!! Besuch in der Stadt war am Ende gut 2 Std Zeit angesetzt, die viel zu wenig ist um mal in die Straßen zu laufen, geschweige denn mal was essen zu gehen...

Having children the gin trip didn't appeal to them the would rather have had more time in Johannesburg exploring the city. Obviously it's not possible to please everyone but maybe look at leaving some people in town while those that want to do the distillery can and then pick up the others given them maybe 30 to 40 minutes more in the town especially if some of them have slight mobility issues and can't cover as much in the time, only my opinion bur could be advantages

Loved the trip but my sister could have done with 5 more minutes to walk the 700m to the boat. It was hot and we had to rush which was difficult for some passengers. We would also have liked a little more free time in Mahon further explore. We totally recommend this trip. Our guide was lovely, helpful and informative. A driver careful and safe. The coach was comfortable and thankfully cool. Very good value for money.

We appreciated the information given to us by the Daniel the guide. The boat trip was very enjoyable and informative. The Gin shop visit was also informative and unusual. We had plenty of time to walk around the town and visited shops and cafés. The only negative part of this trip was as we got on the coach at the bus station some of the party were harassed by a woman shaking something in their faces "putting a curse on tourists" and telling them to leave. Thankfully no one took any notice!

Overall enjoyed the tour very much. We didn’t get to view the glass underwater area on the boat because of weather conditions but the tour of the harbour was very interesting in itself. The gin distillery part was ok but was basically just a table of gins to taste - great if you’re a gin lover, but a little dull for some of our group. There was a good amount of time then to have lunch and look around the market. The tour guide Caron was very friendly and informative.

Pick up time was very early as when you arrive in Mahon nothing is opened for the first hour of the free time, shops don't open to 10/10.30am so makes it more difficult to enjoy. The market isn't fully set up either that early. More time could be spent in the Gin distillery as it's very rushed at 20 mins. Our boat couldn't leave the harbor due to the high winds but that's no one's fault. Just feels very rushed. Pick up time would be better suited to around 10am to properly enjoy Mahon.

The gin factory was literally trying as many as you liked in the factory store. I expected a demo of how the gin is made or at least a spiel about the history of Menorcan gin. We have done this tour before but the experience this time was poor because we had to pick up people from Santo Tomas. This took quite a bit of time and therefore there was no time to spend at the gin distillery. We therefore walked straight to the boat for the harbour tour. Because of my health issues I am not that mobile and have to walk slowly. Everything was rushed and not comfortable. We were meant to be back at our hotel for lunch but arrived too late due to the drop off in Santo Tomas.

We loved the boat trip with the pre-recorded information which was interesting and informative. The guide, Daniel seemed a nice enough guy but his English wasn't particularly good. He didn't direct or lead the group properly, no times were given for the boat trip or when he was leading us or not. No information was given about what to see/ visit in Mahon prior to our drop off, and only because my sister had been there before were we able to take full advantage of the 2 hours we had there.

The tour was great as only half full so gained a lovely relaxed experience of not being crowded on the coach and boat. Boat trip was lovely and informative. Thoroughly enjoyed the day. Cannot fault. Daniel the Tui tour guide was professional and friendly. The only downside was the long walk in the heat from the coach park at the harbour to the boat. It would have been better to be dropped off right by the boat then the coach could go back to the coach park. That was the only negative.

The trip was very enjoyable overall. The only aspect was our guide although very friendly and helpful was very difficult to understand what He was saying. Maybe it was a combination of a strong Spanish accent and a faulty microphone on the coach. The guide gave plenty of island information during the transfer to Mahon, was very informative and friendly. The harbour boat tour was a really enjoyable part of the trip with lots of information regarding the history of the area and the buildings on the sides of the harbour and all staff were friendly. The distillery tour was a free for all sampling session with very little organisation and no actual tour of the distillery. Mahon was a lovely place to spend some free time, overall a good day.

The guide gave us an interesting overview and history of the island that was interesting and not boring. The boat trip around the harbour wasn't crowded and again interesting and having some lovely views. The gin tasting was good with a variety of flavours. You could try as much gin as you liked and we're not hurried. We had a walk round the market and a tasty lunch. All round enjoyable experience.

The boat tour around the harbour was absolutely fantastic, the information given while on board was really informative and interesting, the scenery was beautiful. The gin distillery tour was slightly disappointing as it was really just a visit to a gin store with lots of tasting, nothing about the way gin is made.. obviously lots of types of gin for sale. Gin distillery was disappointing as no explanation of the actual gin making, guide did his best to talk about the gin but basically was just reading off the labels. The walk from the harbour bus park to the boat is too long......maybe the coach could drive nearer, drop people off then return to the coach park to park up.

We had arranged this trip for the Saturday of our stay but a smaller coach had been sent which meant that there were only four seats left available. Along with our group of four there was another group of four and a group of three. We and the group of three agreed to reschedule for the Tuesday. This was fine with us but would have most preferred the Saturday as we already had another excursion booked for the Monday.

Nicola the guide gave lots of history of the island which was very interesting. Harbour tour was a hour long and lovely to see all the buildings and boats. I feel the trip was far too expensive for what it is. The boat trip was only €18 if you booked it yourself and the gin distillery was free to enter which meant you are paying €27 for the bus which is very expensive. Also the distillery is not working on a sat so you can’t see it in action, we should have been told that when we booked and we might have gone on the tue. Overall very disappointing for the money.

A guided tour round the market in Mahon was supposed to be an option. No such tour was offered. We were just dropped at the bus station and get back in 2.5 hours. Taken to distillery. No tour. The guide gathered us round a table with several gins on. He read the labels to us to tell us the various flavours and said they're distilled in those copper vats over there (pointing bt not moving.Help yourselves to the gins and put the glasses in the bin.. 15 walk to boat leaves in 30 min. See you.

We weren’t told by the rep when booking the trip that there was a bit of walking between the gin distillery and the boat trip. As I am asthmatic and have a knee problem this was a chore, not only this we had to return to the coach via foot also. I was not the only person to make comments regarding this. We would have certainly had a rethink about the excision had we been told. The tour guide was informed of our concerns at the time.

Very interesting commentary from Nicola about the fascinating history of the island, our destinations and tips for enjoyment of each part of the trip. Boat was so serene but I would contradict the onboard narration which said there would be plenty of time for all to go below for underwater viewings. I had just bought a coffee and because of the numbers going below, decided not to queue so waited patiently. Then the engine kicked in and we were off! Mahon and the gin factory did not disappoint!

The whole trip was excellent. A lot of this was due to Nichola, the Tui rep. Her knowledge was amazing and delived in such a way the children in our party(12&14 years) were kept interested and engaged the whole time. The boat trip was fab also the Gin tasting, which for us, with children was just the right length. The only small criticism we have was the time in Mahon Town could have been longer. We all enjoyed the shopping, but would have loved to have seen more of the beautiful city.

Tour guide Nicola was the best guide I have ever had. Her knowledge of the island and the history she shared with us was brilliant. She is an asset to the company I wouldn't hesitate to go a tour with Nicola again. Everything about the trip was fab. Probably could of spent a bit more time at the gin distillery due to the qué to get served with the cruise ships being in port. Coach driver was very polite and felt at ease with his driving. Good tour to go on, great to be able to sample some of the various Gins. River trip also good to experience with a good comentry of all the historic buildings along the banks. Mahon is a good city to explore although the booking information regarding Mahon free time missed out that there is a fantastic indoor market to find, adjacent to the church of Nostra Senyora de carme. There could be a more comprehensive description for the TUI reps at the Hotel to provide at time of booking.

It wasn't until after we booked that I noticed the gin distillery visit was not actually a distillery tour but just a shop visit in a distillery which was a little disappointing. However got some gin to bring home & the rest of the excursion was well worth the money. Just needs to be clearer that not a distillery tour.

La combinaison des 3 activités est une ********** idée. La découverte du port est intéressante mais l'observation avec le fond en verre mise en avant dans la présentation est sans intérêt. Le marché est sans plus mais le centre historique à proximité (pas forcément ce qui est le plus évoqué) est vraiment très joli. Nicola was a super guide with a great knowledge of the journey too and from the trip and also of the Mahon area itself. We learnt lots! The boat trip itself was great and again, lots of knowledge about the harbour was given. Well worth the money. The only thing I would suggest is, maybe a little talk on the safety of the boat if there was a problem or an emergency arose.

The bout tour was really interesting and learnt a lot about the history of Mahon. The gin distillery was very good, would be nice if they could do a tour of it but it was still good and really reasonably priced. Then we got two hours to go around Mahon which was the perfect amount of time. Our tour guide was so informative and friendly

Loved the harbour tour and looking around Mao, the Gin tasting was chaotic with us all crammed at one end of the distillery with no form of order and the gin was tasted neat. We left after 1 taste along with several others as it was just too much to be involved in. I was expecting a sit down with pre poured glasses and an explanation of each from the seller not a free for all tasting session where we poured our own and had no idea what we we were drinking.

The whole trip was fabulous from start to finish. Picked up on time. Very knowledgeable and helpful guide with a great sense of humour. The boat cruise was stunning. Lovely walk around the market and shops. The gin distillery had some lovely gins to taste. We came away just a little bit tipsy and with some lovely gins to take home. Well worth the cost and some great memories.

The tour overall was ok. The boat trip was informative but the glass bottom viewing area was claustrophobic and smelt strongly of diesel. There was nothing to view either! The gin distillery was just a table with a line up of about 15-20 gins and liquors for you to sample yourself with no information apart from what the bottle said. Then back to the bus. The clothes market was disappointing as just a lot of similar tat. The indoor food market was better. Mahon is nice and 90 mins is enough.

Driver Carlos and rep Daniel were excellent. Daniel was very informative friendly and funny. He made sure everyone was with him. The gin tasting was a great experience. The only thing for us was the walk from the coach to the boat, bit much if you have mobility issues. Overall really good time.

The boat trip was very nice around the harbour. The gin was tasting was very very nice The only down side was as you come out of the a little drunk there is a big step and should fall in to the very busy road. Would be a good idea to have a hand rail to stop little and big ones falling into the road.

Enjoyed it all, boat trip was pleasant , staff ensured your safety whilst boarding and disembarking and running commentary on what you were passing useful. Plenty of photo opportunities. Tried different gins which I've never drunk before. Plenty of time to look round the market and as it was the Festival of the Flowers we were lucky enough to see a couple of dance troops one being Flamenco dancing. Stefano the guide very pleasant and friendly.

Our guide for the trip was a wonderful lady called Nicola. She was a sampling. The best guide I've ever come across on a Tui trip, she was so informative and made it very interesting and friendly. The trip itself was lovely and I'd highly recommend. Very good value for money .

Boat tour was one hour which could have been bought direct for €15 each. 2 hours to wander a very poor clothes and tat market then 15 minutes in the gin distillery shop for tasting. One hour each way in a coach with noisy kids. Not really ideal when you've booked an adult only holiday. Better value to hire a car for the day and book your own boat tickets.

Whole thing was a waste of time and money and hour boat trip to many people for a start . It's a 500 metre walk from the coach to the boat and back again not everybody got a chance to look through the small windows in the bows of the boat the gin distillery was a total letdown as you only go in a gift shop and rushed back on the coach again then taken to the town square to a market that was selling mainly cheap counterfeit designer clothes then piled back on coach dropped at the hotel

Disappointed that we were unable to go down to the glass viewing section as this was one of the main reasons we booked the trip. The weather was fine and conditions did not seem choppy or unsuitable to us so we felt the Crewe just wanted to finish the tour early. Enjoyed the historic facts. Well for my first experience in Menorca the price is erasable. But in my opinion for the price it was due to have food or snacks included. After I had experienced and heard people at the hotel to say that there was a bus that we took to Maó for 2 euros, the adult entrance on the boat was 18 euros and the gin test is open to the public 159 euros we paid was quite expensive.

The tour guide was very informative and the driver was very a careful and competent driver, there were aspects of the tour which was enjoyable, being able to explore the town was good, however the glass bottom boat wasn’t really as described, it had a few small windows at shin level. There was a small coffee maker producing a half cup at a time. The market stalls sold mostly the same overpriced things and the gin experience had a few gins some of which were less than appealing to a gin drinker.

Could have done with more time in Mahon, I had to choose between the museum or the church, given that we wanted a coffee stop. The boat trip was really good, and the logistics of moving from the boat to the distillery made sense. Pre-trip information could have been better wrt timing- it says ‘4-8 hours’, which is no indication of timings. The boat is 09.30, and lasts an hour, there’s distillery next, then two hours in the town leaving 13.30; the info could say that.

Not really that best instructions for guidance either (he gave us his personal telephone number but that isn't any good for people like me who don't have roaming abroad). The day was good because the town, the gin distillery and the boat trip was lovely but I felt the guide didn't add anything to it really, which feels wrong for a rep. A rep I think should inrich the experience.

The Gin Factory was disappointing as we all had to queue up for a shot of gin , I went 40 years ago and they had little stations for each gin with lots of shots that you just helped yourself The boat trip was great

A great guide (who was a Londoner-sorry no good with names) who was funny And very informative on our journey across the island. Told us about the island history as well as points of historic value. Explained itinary to start bavbabd then at each point of trip. Mao town was beautiful- gin is gin but nice tasting, - boat trip the heavens opened as we got on, so a very wet trip which meant no visuals underneath but calm and again and very informative - good six /seven hours out :)

There was a long walk from the bus to the tour boat this was intolrable for old or people with disabilities especially in the heat my wife and I were good for nothing when we got on the boat it took all our effort to get over the walk another passenger was in great difficulty on the walk back, unless you can resolve this situation THERE WILL BE A CASUALITY, when we got of the bus at Mahon Bus Station, we were left to our own devices normally there is more guidance and info.the Gin Tour a scrum

It was an enjoyable day out, the boat tour was good with plenty to see in the harbour. The Gin distillery would be better described as a Gin tasting, I was expecting to see the gin distilling process which you don't. The gin tasting was good as they have a wide variety of local gin flavours to try and is a good opportunity to buy gins to take home. A couple of hours in Mahon is long enough, the guide could give directions to the Tourist Information on the road to town to pick up a map.

There was nothing I didn't like about this trip it was all good. Nicola the guide was excellent, she spoke very clearly which was good for my husband who is hard of hearing. We learned a lot about the island of Menorca and it was very interesting. We enjoyed shopping and having a coffee and wandering around in Mahon and we enjoyed the visit to the gin distillery. However on the boat trip which we did enjoy we couldn't hear the commentary because the passengers were talking so loud.

First part of trip was fine, then came to the gin distillery. Courier told us that on leaving there, to take a "7 minute walk" to get the boat for a trip round the harbour. My husband and I do not walk very fast, so we skipped the gin and set off for the boat. Well, I expect it is a "7 minute walk" for an athlete, but not for many other people. We got to the boat exhausted, and I asked the courier if she could arrange a taxi for return, but kindly, the boat's captain took us back, exhausted.

Fabulous tour, the boat trip is well worth doing as its very informative with great views. We never liked gin but came away gin converts. We had an hour and half in Mohan and this was a perfect taster of the town. The guide and driver were great. Highly recommend this trip it's great value for money to.

Overall the tour was a good experience. A couple of negatives. The bus was about 15 mins late arriving for pickup and whilst we had plenty of time to do what we wanted in Mahon the gin experience was very rushed and we had expected more detail of the production process. Instead it consisted of here's the shop have a taste , buy if you want. The boat trip was very good.

The harbour cruises should have been done first as shops were closed first thing in morning and spent first hour waiting for shops to open

Could of done with more free time in Mahon, boat trip excellent. However the gin distillery is mis-sold ad it only visits the gift shop.

We had a lovely trip the harbour was very good, The gin distillery is just a shop with gin tasting , my only downer on this trip is not enough free time in Mahon.
