Sejltur var udmærket, men begrænset hvad der er at se Det skuffende ved turen var, at da den sluttede blev vi sat af på en strand i Santa Maria og ingen kunne fortælle hvor vi fandt en transport hjem til hotellet, så vi endte med at måtte tage taxa.

Der Schnorchelstop ist entbehrlich. Er fand beim Ankerplatz am Ende statt. Die dortige Wassertiefe beträgt ca. 27 m. Es waren hier keine Fische oder andere Besonderheiten unter Wasser zu erkennen.

Our booking was changed last minute due to sickness which couldn’t be helped but very well organised. Due to the lack of a pier the loading and loading of passengers into inflatable boats on the beach with a huge shore dump was extremely dangerous how anyone didn’t get hurt was beyond me. We also watched other people getting on and off really not safe to do so, people getting pushed off and falling if it was someone older or with any mobility issues it would have been carnage!!!

Tour wurde erst um einen Tag verschoben, dann ohne Nachricht abgesagt. Die Absage haben wir erst vor Ort auf Nachfrage bei der TUI Reiseleitung erfahren, nachdem wir eine halbe Stunde vor dem Hotel auf den Transfer warteten und den Urlaubstag nach dem Ausflug geplant hatten. Im Endeffekt verlorener Tag, einfach sehr ärgerlich.

I've taken this trip before and totally enjoyed so I was keen to go again. Sadly I didn't enjoy but this was down to the weather conditions which made me feel quite poorly. I would not hesitate to recommend in good weather conditions. My view is not a reflection on the company or the staff who are great.

Sailing was good and glad the sails were put up so we could enjoy the good wind and have the boat leaning. We have done quite a bit of sailing so recognised that this boat was very tired and needed some TLC but didn't spoil our enjoyment.

Die Crew ist einfach genial gewesen mit Zau und Bruno. Es war eine bunte Mischung der Nationalitäten, Dänen, Franzosen, Engländer und wir als Deutsche. Wir hatten sehr viel Spaß. Das Essen war sehr lecker, Thunfisch mit Reis und Salat. Getränkte waren auch ausreichend vorhanden. Ein wirklich schönes Erlebnis zu meinem Geburtstag.

Transfer vom Strand auf dasGummi- Boot und wieder zurück , war mehr als abenteuerlich. Für ältere Menschen kaum machbar (rutschig, zu hoch um hineinzuklettern) Auf dem Rückweg keine Schwimmwesten. Ansonsten toller Ausflug

Die Crew ist wirklich sehr gut und aufmerksam. Fliegende Fische, einen Hai und Delfine gesehen. Es wurde auch darauf geachtet, dass die Tiere ungestört beobachtet werden konnten. Schnorcheln und angeln wollte keiner, waren nur insgesamt 9 Frauen dabei. Mit mehr Personen wäre es sehr eng geworden. Schöne Tour, allerdings für den stolzen Preis von 64,00 zu kurz mit knapp 3 Stunden. Transfer hat super geklappt.

Tolles Segelerlebnis mit viel Wind, von daher gute Bedingungen. 14 Personen ohne Crew passen drauf, ist aber trotzdem etwas eng. Liegezeit mit Baden und Mittagessen war mit 2,5 h etwas zu lang. Statt 4h waren wir 7h insgesamt unterwegs - für uns toll.

Informatie over het hoe aan boord gaan vanaf het strand, de stop om te snorkelen mag uitgebreider, Je wilt graag weten wat je te wachten staat. De dranken en snacks voorziening was minimaal aanbod en hierin was de verwachting anders en meer royaal. Ook hierin beter informeren en mijn inziens ligt er een kans om het iets royaler aan te bieden en hiervoor mag je ook de prijs verhogen.

This was a highlight for my wife. The 2 crew were very friendly & clearly very knowledgeable & experienced sailors. We felt very comfortable & safe with them. Service was great with snacks and drinks without any pressure. There were 4 guests on the boat and it felt very friendly and perfect for small groups. There's still something magical about sailboats and this experience added to the magic.

A great trip. Crew were attentive and handled the boat well. The great thing about this trip is that it uses a 'real' boat so the sailing experience is great and by nature of the size of the boat you don't need to share with many others. Highly recommended. My only advice would be to be aware that you need to climb from a Zodiac to the boat at anchor. Plenty of help available but probably not idea if you are not fully mobile.

Zao and Paulo were great and we were lucky that we (4) had the boat to ourselves rather than the normal 10-12 people. Getting onboard out of the sea was a little tricky if you have any physical problems as the first step on the ladder was quite high. Fabulous fresh food. Plenty of drinks. So nice to be on the sea under sail. We got a little sunburned because we were having too much fun. Thanks for the experience!

14 people plus 3 crew seemed overcrowded, 17 people on a 2 berth sail boat ! Advertised as ‘small group’ ! Drinks were plentiful. Snacks - may as well not bother as they were pitiful. Safety - none existent as a lady and gentleman came very close to going overboard. I actually saved them…the crew were unaware as they were chatting up girls at the back of the boat!

Der Segeltrip war super. Die Crew war sehr zuvorkommend und sehr bemüht einen tollen Ausflug auf dem Wasser zu zaubern. Es wurden ausreichend Getränke gereicht und Snacks. Wir haben einen Erwachsenen Ausflug gebucht, um so erstaunter waren wir das ein Kind ca 7-8 Jahre mit dabei war. Leider ging es dem Kind nicht gut, war viel am weinen und am sich übergeben. Für uns ein NoGo .... Das Kind hat uns Leid getan und wir konnten unseren Ausflug nicht wirklich genießen... Schade eigentlich

If you like sailing you might be ok with this experience, but if you want a boat trip with snorkeling I would look elsewhere. The snacks were just a bowl of nuts and I had to ask for drinks. There was nothing to see with regards to the coastline. Very disappointed.

The tour guides / sailors were fantastic and very knowledgeable. Our safety was number one priority for them, being slightly disabled they were quite happy to support me on and off the boat. Travelling alone with 3 children they helped my children where needed. Pointed out the wildlife in the ocean. Encouraged us to jump off the boat when we stopped to swim! Would deffo recommend

Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Tripp. Einzig der Weg zum Boot ist eine kleine Herausforderung, da man zunächst in ein Schlauchboot klettern muss, dass einen anschließend zum Boot bringt. Jedoch ist die Crew sehr erfahren und hilfsbereit. Wir haben fliegende Fische gesehen und die Crew hat einen Amberjack gefangen. Das war ein tolles Erlebnis. Die Crew ist super nett und man bekommt das ein oder andere Wissenswerte vermittelt. Jederzeit wieder. Wir haben die knapp 4 Stunden sehr genossen. Danke

If you like sailing, this is a must do. We had a fabulous time. There was supposed to be another couple with us, but they had to cancel. We had our own private trip. We saw flying fish and a shark. It was very exciting. We definitely suggest the all day trip. Food, snacks and drinks were very good. The crew was amazing. Good music too.

Beetje heen en weer varen (3x zelfde traject) voor de kust steeds op de zelfde plek had ik anders gewilt. Waarom niet 1,5 uur ergens naar toe en dan terug krijg je meer tezien van de kustlijn! Aanboord alles oké, gezellig met wat te drinken en een snack.

Een hele fijne zeiltocht gehad met de Cuba Libre. De bemanning was er attent en behulpzaam met aan en af boord gaan. De verzorging was ook excellent. Telkens werd er gevraagd of je nog iets wilde drinken. Ik heb de middagtocht gedaan, er waren nootjes en toastjes met verse tonijnsalade. Aanrader!

Uns wurde diese Reise mit deutsch sprechender Besatzung verkauft. Leider sprach die Crew neben Portugiesisch nur noch Englisch. Für jemanden, der beiden Sprachen nicht spricht, wäre diese Reise ein großes Problem. Außerdem hat uns der Tui- Reiseverkäufer im Hotel die Begegnung mit Walfischen auf dieser Tour förmlich versprochen. Davon war an Bord dann keine Rede mehr.

Man sollte unbedingt Reisetabletten nehmen oder bei bekannter Seekrankheit , diese Reise nicht buchen. Der Wellengang ist nicht unerheblich und die Übelkeit kann einem den Ausflug sehr vermiesen

My first time on a sailing ship which was a wonderful experience. The staff were so engaging and nothing was too much trouble. They even lifted a disabled lady on board. Sadly we didn't see whales or dolphins but we did see a number of flying fish which were amazing.

Erwartung übertroffen! Sehr tolle Tour ! Denkt nur an den Sonnenschutz ?? Von der Abholung bis zur Rückkehr war alles sehr gut organisiert! Wir haben einen tollen Tag auf dem Segelboot verbracht! Sehr viel gesehen und der Service an Bord und auch das Essen waren sehr gut!

Een geweldige ervaring. Heel vriendelijk personeel en zeer smakelijke lunch. Bootpersoneel uitzonderlijk behulpzaam. Wel weergeven in omschrijving, dat op en afstappen op het schip niet gemakkelijk gaat voor de wat ouderen. En dat men met een dunky naar het schip wordt gebracht.

Leider mussten wir nach 3 Std abbrechen, da meinem Freund sehr schlecht war. Es gab leider nichts gegen Seekrankheit vor Ort, auch die Möglichkeit bestand nicht, zwischendurch abgeholt zu werden oder ähnliches. Wir wurden dabei gar nicht unterstützt. It was very well organised Picked up from hotel on time Only 7 customers on board the boat so was plenty of room to alternate your position on board if you chose to. Saw flying fish then much to our delight a pod of about 6 dolphins who came over to investigate our boat - fantastic

Die Segelbootsfahrt Cuba Liebre war sehr schön Wir haten. Viel Spas die Crew war freundlich und lustig. Leider hat es mit dem Rück Transfer nicht geklappt. Wir haben über eine halbe Stunde gewartet, es kam keiner und wir sind dann alle mit dem Taxi ins Hotel gefahren.

Alles in Allem eine schöne unspektakuläre Fahrt auf einem meiner Meinung nach zu vollem Schiff. 12 Mitsegler plus 2 Mann Besatzung auf einem 40 Fuß Schiff, ist sportlich. Besatzung war gut und aufmerksam. Mittagstop bzw Badepause meines Erachtens zu lang war. Ich wäre lieber die ganze Zeit gesegelt. Man kann es nicht jedem recht machen. Unterm Strich war es eine schöne Tour.

An sich ein schöner Trip. Es waren aber maximal 2,5-3 Stunden auf dem Boot und am Ende wurde nur vor dem Bikini Beach zum schwimmen gehalten und die Gäste saßen gerade wieder im Boot und schon wurde man quasi vom Schiff geworfen. Die Begründung war, dass der Fahrer ja schon warten würde. Wieder am Strand angekommen, war kein Fahrer in Sicht und man wurde alleine gelassen. Der Fahrer kam dann nach ca 15 Minuten. Das Ende war viel zu apprupt und 57€ für dann doch noch nicht mal 3 Stunden zu teuer.

We hadden zelf een hele leuke groep, prachtig weer en een rustige zee. We konden heerlijk zeilen en spotten ook vliegende vissen. Je zit met max 8 op de boot en is ook echt perfect. Je krijgt een drankje en een hapje, vriendelijk personeel. Op het einde kan je evt snorkelen en er zijn ook evt maskers op de boot te leen.

Was a great trip was windy so the boat was fast. The snacks were a bit meagre but they were generous with the drinks. Definitely no good for anyone who is scared of the water or has difficulty with any type of mobility issues this is due to having to get off a dinghy onto the boat. The captain and his crewman Paolo were very knowledgable and great hosts. We loved it. Saw flying fish and even did some snorkling.

Great guys, you get what it says on the tour. Lovely relaxing experience. I loved it but seen previous reviews about the little tender to get you to the sail boat not being great. It is just that, a rubber tender with an outboard. If you do have mobility issues this trip isn't for you, as you have to be able to balance and get from one vessel to another. I personally have some mobility issues but both guys were very helpful. On a bad day I couldn't of done this, but I was OK on the day ??

Eine tolle, spannende und entspannte Tour. Wir wurden sehr verwöhnt mit Getränken und kleinen Snacks. Eine dazu passende Musik machte das Ganze noch schöner. Die Guides haben immer auf unsere Sicherheit geachtet. Insbesondere beim Transfer mit dem Schlauchboot vom Steg zur Segelyacht. Zum Schluss konnte noch geschnorchelt werden. Eine Tour, die wir zum weiteren „Entschleunigen“ empfehlen können.

Wir hatten das Glück, dass 4 Leute ihren Termin kurzfristig abgesagt haben, so dass wir die Segeltour zu zweit machen konnten. Die beiden tollen Skipper waren supernett und sehr bemüht uns sogar noch Delphine zu zeigen. Wir konnten entspannt an Deck liegen und einfach bei guter Musik genießen. Sehr sympathisch war, dass sie-wann immer es ging-segelten und für jedes Tier in der Nähe den Motor abgestellt haben. Am Ende hielten wir für einen tollen Schnorchelausflug am versunkenen Jesus. Perfekt ??

Super après-midi. Nous avons pu apercevoir des tortues. Équipage super sympathique. Malgré la barrière de la langue, le capitaine n’hésitait pas à nous donner des explications. Celui-ci faisait vraiment un effort pour se faire comprendre et nous comprendre. (Nous l’avons d’ailleurs recroiser un autre jour sur la plage de Santa Maria et celui-ci est venu directement vers nous pour nous saluer.)

Der Transport vom Hotel bis aufs Segelboot und zurück war einfach super. Bevor wir mit dem Schlauchboot zum Segelboot gebracht wurden, wurden wir informiert wie alles abzulaufen hat (inklusive Sicherheitsbelehrung / Schwimmwesten usw.). Als wir auf dem Boot platzgenommen hatten, wurden uns sofort Getränke und Snacks angeboten. Wir haben Wasserschildkröten, fliegende Fische und Delphine gesehen. Dabei hatte die Besatzung die ganze Zeit ein Auge auf uns, dass wir wohlbehalten zurück kommen.

There was only supposed to be 6 on board the sail boat.Tui had actually booked for 11 people . There was not enough safe seating. When it was time to disembark 6 of the original 11 were left on the boat unsupervised. This was in now the fault of the Cuba Libra staff on bard as they tried to accommodate all on board. I would recommend this trip highly but not when overbooked. Safety was compromised in my opinion.

The yacht sailing itself was terrific and a very enjoyable experience. Getting to and from the yacht in the dingy were frankly terrifying moments for my wife. Between her mobility restrictions and being unable to swim it marred the day for us somewhat. I cannot speak too highly of the crew and photographer though who patiently helped us. I think if TUI had been upfront on how we got to and from the boat we'd have chosen a different trip.

Fabulous day where Henrik and Domingo couldn’t do enough to make you happy, comfortable and entertained from the moment you stepped onboard. Whilst we had a Scuba stop Henrik prepared a beautiful fresh cooked lunch of Tuna Steak, Rice and salad and Domingo was always on hand with drinks and also to help you in and out of the water. Sadly we didn’t see any Dolphins or Whales but we had already seen the Whales the day before off shore so knew they were around somewhere.

The 2-man crew made us welcome and looked after us so well. Our first sailing experience and it was great. Yes, we did get a bit wet (at the front of the boat) and at times were clinging on as the boat tilted this way and that - great fun! Watching the crew navigate the boat was very interesting and we took in the sites on offer. They dropped anchor, cooked and served us a delicious tuna lunch. On our return, we saw a whale in the distance and sailed past a huge turtle. A long day but great fun!

The team were very helpful . From the jetty you had to get on a small dingy which wasn’t the easiest thing to do for a few of the group but they ensured everyone was put on and off the dingy safely and confidently . It was a great experience being on the sail boat. They were great hosts offering several drinks and snacks and really tried their best to find sea wildlife for us to see looking for whales especially however we only go to see flying fish but that’s the role of the dice .

It was a sort yourself out sort of trip. No atmosphere on boat - was asked to play music. It would have been better if 2 people in charge could have explained and provided some information about the area. They were interrogated by couple of passengers. There were 3 Tui reps on board, learning about the trip and the focus of Oliver and the captain (?) was on them.

Nous avons passé une excellente journée rythmée par la rencontre avec des poissons volants, des dauphins, des baleines et des tortues. La journée était un peu venteuse, ce qui n'a pas permis de pleinement profiter de la baignade. Une zone extérieure abritant les passagers du soleil serait souhaitable durant toute la croisière.

We ended up being a group of 5 due to 4 no-shows. This was a perfect size for the yacht (9 would have been a little crowded I think). We enjoyed being under sail for most of the day. We expected 2 swimming/snorkeling stops based on info when we booked, but there was ony 1 when we stopped for lunch. Crew were great. As a bonus we saw a humback whale and her calf, and also a large turtle. Use of the bathroom facilities could have been explained.

Picked up on time but transfer onto the yacht was not enjoyed due to choppy seas, poor visibility and small RIB. One passenger was very ill from casting off until return to harbour to offload her and her partner - this spoilt the trip. Bad weather curtailed the Bikini bay swim and the snorkeling stop was spoilt by poor loan equipment fit, strong tide and cold waters.

War eine schöne lustige Tour, waren alle sehr bemüht. Leider klemmt das Hauptsegel und wir konnten nur mit dem Vorsegel und Motor fahren. Der Guide war bemüht es zu reparieren, hat aber nicht geklappt.

De twee mannen namen je mee met een mooie zeilboot langs de kustlijn van Sal. Aan drank geen gebrek , en lekkere nootjes en toastje. Wij waren er begin januari en dat is de tijd dat er veel minder mooie dieren te spotten zijn (dit wisten wij ook vooraf) Wel hebben wij vliegende vissen gezien en een meter grote rog. mooie trip en echt genoten.

staff were really friendly and chatted and got to know everyone on board. drinks and snacks provided however snacks were just some peanuts so maybe a bit of a tall order calling them "snacks" pick up arrived on time then 3 hours on the boat, just along the coast of where the hotel is so dont expect to see anything of the island. we seen a turtle and whales and the staff were real keen for us to see these,also a stop for some snorkelling. happy with the tour and would recommend

Erg leuke excursie, leuke gasten. En aardige bemanning. Wel een beetje jammer dat er voor de gasten die geen vis aten geen alternatief was. Erg leuk dat de gasten allemaal Nederlands spraken, hierdoor leuk contact. Zeeschildpadden, dolfijnen en heel veel visjes met het snorkelen gezien. Tijd om te snorkelen vond ik wel wat kort. Let op sterke stroming.

De boot was kleiner dan gedacht en de bemaning heet je welkom maar verder niks. Ik verwachtte wel een beetje uitleg over wat we gingen doen en gewoon wat info over wat we konden gaan zien en wanneer je wat kon zien etc. Ze waren verder aardig en met snorkelen waren er veel vissen te zien maar was voor mij verder niet veel bijzonders.

Een echte aanrader deze zeilboot trip Bruno de helpende hand van de kapitein is een duizendpoot hij en de kapitein doen er echt alles aan om je een mooie reis te geven, de kapitein gaat ook nog koken voor je terwijl jij lekker aan snorkelen bent , dus heerlijk genieten. En veiligheid gaat voor alles , ook voor mensen die moeilijk ter been zijn en niet zwemmen is dit mooi om te doen.

De middagzeiltocht was heel leuk. Gezellige muziek met een drankje en een toostje. We hebben schildpadden en vliegende vissen gezien. Helaas was het water bij tijd en wijlen erg ruw zodat we pas op het einde van de dag vlak bij het strand in het water mochten om te gaan snorkelen. Vissen hebben we hierdoor helaas niet gezien.

Dit was geweldig! Werkelijk zeer fijne byzondere dag gehad met Zau en Bruno en slechts een klein gezelschap van 7 man aan boord. Heerlijke lunch, geen gebrek aan drankjes en heerlijk, zwemmen snorkelen en zeilen op zee. Dolfijnen, vliegende visjes, schildpad gespot en als klap op de vuurpijl nog een giga-vis (>1 meter) gevangen! Enige punt van aandacht is vervoer via ietwat gammele “pier” en dito trap naar de rubberbootjes die je naar de zeilboten moeten brengen. Niet voor iedereen …..

De trip zelf was perfect. Daar alleen maar lof over! Met de reisleiding er over gesproken dat ik zwanger ben en gevraagd of dit een probleem was Dit was absoluut geen probleem, maar jerome zou dit wel doorgeven ook ivm het eten. En zou dan iets anders geregeld worden als tonijn. Eenmaal aan boord wist de kapitein nergens van af en was er dus ook geen ander eten aan boord. Gelukkig kon zijn vrouw met een klein bootje ons achterop varen. In de ochtend werden wij al op de verkeerde haven afgezet

The Crew were nothing short of Brilliant.. Visited the island for a second time after just 8 weeks and couldn't not do this trip again.. Great crew, great food and hospitality.. Guides super, kleine snacks ausreichend. War schon schön aber Preis dann doch ziemlich happig. 55 eu schreckt bestimmt viele ab. Solange das auch bei den guides ankommt, solltet ihr das kommunizieren. Dann ist’s auch gerechtfertigt und ok. Wenn das nur so hoch is um die Taschen des Konzerns zu füllen… geht.

Die Skipper waren sehr bemüht auf alle Fragen eine Antwort zu finden. Sie sind halt Kapverdianer und sprechen gebrochenes Englisch, wie auch wir ... Alles gut! Wir hatten das Glück und sind zusammen mit einer Gruppe von Delphinen gesegelt. Die Bootsführer haben auf die Tiere sofort reagiert und haben den Kurs angepasst. Viele Getränke an Board und All inclusive ... Klasse! Die Beiden Bootsführer tuen Ihren Job mit Leidenschaft. Das überträgt sich ... Musik an Board und WC vorhanden.

Halbtägig ist eher übertrieben, 2,5 Std. an Bord. Das Schwimmen und Schnorcheln am Ende an einer ungünstigen Stelle, direkt neben dem Anleger. Snack bestand aus Chips und keiner Thunfisch Paste auf Minitartlets. 2. Skipper eher mit einheimischen Frauen, die an Bord waren beschäftigt. Es waren 13 statt 12 Paasagiere ab Bord und das Boot ist in die Jahre gekommen.

The boat itself wasn’t that good for the trip. Wasn’t many places to sit and when you did you were sat amongst the rope mechanisms for the sails. The trip just kept going back and forth over the same area which was boring and then when they stopped for the snorkel experience it was right near the harbour so hardly any fish to see and nothing visual. Should have gone further out. Snorkel then return as plenty of amazing places we could have see. Wouldn’t book again.

Une première expérience parfaite sur un voilier. Le capitaine Zau très attentif et aux petits soins pour ses passagers. Son second et lui répondent patiemment à toutes les questions et demandes. Un repas digne d'un bon restaurant et délicieux. Mon seul regret : ne pas avoir vu les dauphins mais cela n'a rien à voir avec l'équipage ni la compagnie. Merveilleuse expérience.

Der Ausflug war mit dem Cuba Libre Team vor Ort super ??. Die Online-Buchung über die TUI App war eine Katastrophe. Wir wurden zum vereinbarten Termin nicht am Hotel abgeholt und der Chat der TUI war nicht hilfreich. Wir sind selbst nach einer verlorenen Stunde zum Steg. Dort hat der Anbieter vor Ort uns geholfen und wir hatten eine super tollen Tag. Mein Tipp, besser direkt vor Ort buchen. Bin sehr enttäuscht von dem TUI Service ??

Leuke boottocht met een klein gezelschap. We waren met 10 Nederlandse op de boot. Heel vriendelijk kapitein en matroos. We zijn goed verzien van drinken en werd vers en lekker gekookt op de boot. Er was goed aandacht aan besteed. We hebben wat kunnen zwemmen in de zee tijdens de lunch. Helaas weinig vis gezien door sterke stroming. Netjes weer aan wal gezet. Leuke dag gehad.

Prachtige ervaring! Heel mooie boot met beperkt aantal plaatsen. Leuke muziek onderweg door de super vriendelijke en enthousiaste bemanning. We hadden het geluk om walvissen te kunnen spotten. Super lekker eten aan boord en leuke plaats om even in het water te gaan en mogelijkheid tot snorkelen. Minpuntje was dat de prijs niet goed aangegeven was en ook niet vermeld werd tot pas bij betaling. Opeens moesten we het dubbel betalen omdat de prijs maar voor 2u stond (er stonden geen uren vermeld).

Die Buchung war super Easy über die App und auch der Zahlvorgang ging problemlos. Ich hatte die Wahl zwischen den kleinen Boot und dem größeren Katamaran und bereue es nicht ansatzweise, mich für diesen Trip entschieden zu haben. Kleine Gruppe, die Guides waren super drauf und haben jeden mit einbezogen, oder auch „für sich gelassen“. Gerne wieder!

Pick up was 30 minutes late. One rep told us we’d missed it! The crew were excellent. We sat at the front which was challenging at times due to high winds. No opportunity to swap seats as we didn’t stop to snorkel or swim as it was too rough. Impossible to enjoy a drink or snack at the front as we had to hold on tight.

This was a great trip out on the yacht, a nice length of time and good to use the sail most of the time. Communication could have been better once onboard regarding where you could sit - and the opportunity to move around later, change position/seating, the reason for the stop for swimming (statue underwater) and use of free snorkels. Only real concern was that you couldn't close the door to the toilet (It was wedged open) or to the room it was in - so had to just hope no-one came in.

I understand that you probably 9 x out of 10 arnt going to see sealife and this trip was very much that ..I think the emphasis on the advertising is to much on what you expect to see.. as you don't even see much of the island or marine creatures rather should be a basic sailing experience which is all it really is ....also on the app advertising it mentions meals Inc..we had pringles and alcohol offered

Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon and we were lucky to see humpback whales too Skipper and crew were great fun Limited snacks on board and we couldn't eat 'Pringles' as you needed to hold on! Absolutely brilliant day even with the high winds on the day we sailed. The food and service onboard was amazing the freshly caught tuna steak with an Asian dressing was delicious. The skippers were very welcoming and attentive it was just a shame due to the weather we were unable to see any wildlife and needed to seek shelter of the bay to avoid the large waves but overall a great day out highly recommended!

Door de reisleiding van TUI ( sebastiaan) en ook door de omschrijving op de TUI site is ons een hele andere tocht voorgespiegeld, was ook een andere lees kleinere boot 10 passagiers ipv max 6. dus 4 man in de schaduw van de fok op het voordek ( max 2 man ruimte), kuip was veel te klein Hapjes was 1 cracker van 2*2cm met tonijn uit blik. Drankjes keus uit witte wijn, roze, bier of water. Kortom ZEER teleurstellend voor het geld.

Personeel is top! Maar geen luxe hapjes of drankjes zoals verwacht. Zeiltocht ging onlangs hevige wind toch door met als gevolg dat we niet konden snorkelen en de golven zo hoog waren dat wij er na een uurtje wel klaar mee waren. Mensen zijn heel erg lief dus ik vind het vervelend om een negatieve review achter te laten, maar dit is wel zoals wij het ervaren hebben, helaas.

De kapitein van de Cuba libre en zijn matroos waren ontzettend gastvrij. Het was een heerlijke dag met een mooie afsluiting toen wij in een school dolfijnen terecht kwam. De kapitein is een tijd met ze mee gezeild en dat hij niet hoeven te doen. Verder was de lunch heerlijk.

Sehr schöne Segeltour, bei der auch wirklich gesegelt wurde. Skipper Hendrik hat Witz und Humor, der Service ist klasse. Wir haben Delfine in der Ferne springen sehen. Die Tour können wir weiterempfehlen.

De activiteit duurde in totaal maar 2 uurtjes terwijl het leek alsof het toch een drietal uren op zee zouden zijn. De gids en de schipper waar zeer hulpvaardig en aangenaam, niks op aan te merken. Fijn dat we dolfijnen gespot hebben want blijkbaar is dat niet altijd het geval.

Nettes Team, allseits sicher. Die Skipper waren erfahren, das half beim eigenem mulmigen Gefühl zwischendurch, wegen des echten Segelns. Aber das ist das Tolle: Wir sind zu 100% gesegelt, so wie wir uns das vorgestellt haben. Das Boot war leider in die Jahre gekommen, und wir hatten uns etwas mehr Platz zum Sonnen vorgestellt. Die Tour war aber dennoch gelungen. Flying Fishs haben wir gesehen, andere Tiere leider nicht. Getränke vorhanden, Snack waren Chips und Zwieback mit Thunfisch.

Super leuke en gezellige zeiltocht langs de zuid- en westkust van Sal. Veel vliegende vissen gezien. Aan het eind de toch vanaf de boot gesnorkeld bij Santa Maria. Super cool!

Wirklich sehr freundliche und erfahrene Crew. Viele Informationen, aber auch sehr entspannt - je nachdem wo man sich auf dem Schiff platziert. Sehr privat. Wir waren nur 8 Leute aufm Boot, sodass man sich nicht in die Quere gekommen ist. Keine “Party” Fahrt. Zum schnorcheln nicht geeignet, aber das liegt an der Insel und nicht am Ausflug.

Toller Segeltrip. Wir waren in einer Gruppe von 10 Personen auf dem Boot. Versorgt mit Getränken segelten wir ca 2 h entlang der Küste von Sal. Sahen dabei Delphine und sogar eine Schildkröte. Zum Schluss legten wir noch einen Schnorchel-Stopp nahe dem Ablegepunkt von ca 30 min ein. Die Besatzung war sehr bemüht und wirkte routiniert.

Die Tour war einfach nur traumhaft. Etwas enttäuchend wär alerdings, dass wir gleich zu beginn von anderen Teilnehmern erfahren haben, dass dies auch über TUI gebucht haben, aber wesentlich weniger bezahlen mussten als wir. Da kommt man sich schon etwas von TUI veräppelt vor.

Not good for anyone with mobility issues. The staff are great but you still have to climb a slippery flight of stairs to a motor boat then climb from a motor boat up a flight of stairs into the boat. Apart from that it was a wonderful day

We hebben een super leuke middag gehad! Het begint al bij de pier waar ze alle vissen binnen halen, schoonmaken en verkopen. Veel lokale mensen zijn er op de pier te vinden. Via een kleine motorbootje naar de zeilboot en genieten! Drankje, muziekje erbij en je mee laten gaan met de golven. Je hapjes hadden beter gekund maar dat is ook het enige puntje wat we hebben.

A little pricey but overall a good experience. Just a pity that we booked for a day that was not windy in Cape Verde!!! Which meant we did not travel as far as we would have done under sail, having to rely on the engine. Crew good and attentive, lunch good, which unfortunately was tuna rather than chicken and I have a tuna allergy! Plenty of time for swimming and snorkelling.

Not informative about the surrounding and where we were going, the safety wire around the boat was broken so the captain spend 1/2 hour at sea trying to fix it but couldn’t so left it broken which was a safety issue for us at the front of the boat. Drinks were ok beer and wine but snacks were poor.

The yacht was absolutely fantastic the skipper and mate was really good to us Only 4 on the yacht made the day , just wished we could of sailed a little more rather than just sail the coast Would do it all over again definitely value for money was like having a private yacht to ourself, made r holiday ????

The trip out on the sailing ship was great, Zao and Emerson were great hosts. We were especially excited to see a huge pod of dolphin's maybe as many as 50 which stayed with the ship for more than 10 mins.

Pleasant enough couple of hours or so, but really not worth £48 (may be at half the price it would have been ok). Didn't see the point of the TUI app, which is where I booked this excursion: I still had to print out the e-ticket (which then wasn't even looked at when we were picked up).

Trip was a fun experience to say we have been on an authentic sailboat. Trip involves sailing out then back along the coast. When we anchored up near the underwater statue lifevests and snorkels were not offered so we did not want to risk swimming in open sea without. Beverage choice was good , snacks were just Pringles and Tuna Toast. Staff and captain friendly enough. If you might get seasick this trip will just due to the nature of the waters here but staff handled the seasickness well.

The captain and his ship mate went above and beyond to give us the best experience ever. We were a party of four and there was only two other people on board so it felt very personal. We got to experience dolphins flying fish and we even were allowed to jump off the yacht and snorkel with the fish. I definitely would highly recommend this excursion.

We had a lovely afternoon on the small sailing boat on my birthday. The two man crew were very kind and made our trip an enjoyable; we had a relaxing time taking in the views of the coast line whilst our drinks were kept topped up, nibbles were offered but not the best & not what was expected from the way it was advertised as food & drink; good job we ate lunch before hand.

Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Tag auf dem Boot. Die Tagestour ist auf jeden Fall vorzuziehen. Es gab ausreichen Getränke und das Essen war richtig lecker. Es gab Thunfisch welcher vor den Kap Verden gefangen wurde. Zubereitet vom Scipper (Hendrik) persönlich. Ein besonderes Lob an Hendrick und seinen Assistenten.

Een geweldige ervaring. Het begon all met het zeer vriendelijk onthaal op de kade van Santa Maria door de kapitein Hendrik,we werden voor zien van een life chaket om met een dingo naar de boot te varen eenmaal aan boord legde de kapitein ons uit wat de dag inhield en welke dieren we zouden kunnen zien. Hij voorzag ons van ruim voldoende snacks en drankjes. Na een tocht van 3 uren en vele schildpadden en vliegende vissen meerde we aan in een baai waar we konden snorkelen. terwijl kookte de kapitein een verse home meal een drie sterren chef maaltijd waard. We zijn daar ongeveer 2 uren gebleven en dan de terug vaart bij aankomst in Santa Maria werd de heerlijke dag afgesloten met een Cuba Libre de naam van de organisatie kort om een aanrader 1ste klas

+ kleine Gruppe mit 5 Personen + 2 Crewmitglieder (Wir hatten Glück das 4 Pers. nicht kamen) + Tagesausflug unbedingt zu empfehlen + leckeres Mittagessen vom Kapitän Hendrik mit Mitarbeiter Amazon zubereitet, bestehend aus Thunfisch in 3 unterschiedlichen Zubereitungen, sehr lecker! + wir hatten Glück und konnten Delfine und fliegende Fische sehen + musikalische Untermalung sehr gelungen, afrikanische Musik, Amazon sang mit, mal fröhlich zum Aufbruch der Fahrt und ruhig, gemütlich, chillig zum Mittag und dann einfach mal nicht-nur noch Wind + segeln, die Fahrt, die Wellen, die Insel, das Meer - einfach alles war phantastisch!! Ein perfekter Tag. - es ging zu schnell zu Ende ;-)

Sehr schöne Hotel Anlage mit sehr netten Mitarbeitern. Pool Bereich sehr schön mit allem was man braucht. Strand Lage sehr schön und sauber. Hotel Betten waren nicht unsere Vorstellungen. Einfache Einbett Gestelle die zusammen gesetzt waren. Einfache sehr dünne Bettlacken als Decke. Da ist noch viel Luft nach oben. Ansonsten waren die Zimmer in Ordnung. Sehr hell hörig zum Nachbarn, aber das kennt man leider aus anderen Urlaubsgebieten.

Le personnel a bord était sympathique, le stop avec les poisson pas mal. La cote est une succession d’hotels donc pas très intéressant. Le bateau est assez délabré et nous avons eu la surprise de ne pas avoir le transport retour. Sur le bon de réservation était pourtant indiqué transport. Heureusement que nous avions un peu d argent sur nous pour rentrer en taxi a l hotel !!

Super ausflug! waren von 10-17 Uhr unterwegs und alles hat super gepasst. Waren sogar nur zu Viert auf dem Boot , der Captian und sein Skipper konnten deutsch und wir konnten sogar zwei Mal eine ganze Delphinen Gruppe sehen die vor uns geschwommen sind. Sehr zu empfehlen! :)

Fin service på resortet. Flot resort bortset fra kælder-lugt på værelset. Lækker mad. Fin service fra TUI, når der var brug for det. Fin mad på flyet. Udflugt til Shark Bay skuffende - ganske få bitte små hajer - meget langt foredrag fra havbiolog. Udflugt med sejlbåd rigtig god - fin service, smuk tur, spændende at se liv og handel ved havnen. Optaget på både japansk og italiensk restaurant. Alle gæster burde have mulighed for et enkelt besøg på hver restaurant. En enkelt kæmpe kakerlak på værelset, som vi fangede i et glas. Fin underholdning dag og aften. Fin poolbar. Generelt meget tilfreds med opholdet. Kunne bestemt besøge resortet igen. Ville være dejligt, hvis TUI kunne tilbyde en 10 dages tur ud over 1 og 2 uger.

Heerlijke zeiltocht langs de zuidkust van Sal. Zodra de ligplaats is verlaten gaat de motor uit en worden de zeilen gehesen en is de bar geopend. De crew houdt contact met andere boten dat zodra er een dolfijn of walvis wordt gespot, je daar naartoe zeilt. Heerlijk ontspannen genieten!

De boot is nodig aan groot onderhoud toe en het zeil zat klem. Er stond incl. maaltijd en drankjes. Het aanbod was (lauw) bier, witte wijn, sprite of water en een crackertje met tonijnsalade. Op advies een hoed gekocht, echter niet bruikbaar ivm wind en voldoende schaduw.

We had a great trip with the Cuba Libre team. They were friendly, professional and really keen to ensure that we enjoyed ourselves. It was a special experience to be sailing and our kids loved seeing the flying fish, and snorkeling in the sea. I did get sea sick though, so beware that may happen!

Een Leuke en mooie ervaring, weersomstandigheden waren perfect om te zeilen. Goede en fijne personeel. Onderweg zijn we heel veel dolfijnen tegen gekomen en Pilot Wales. Mooie foto’s en filmpjes kunnen maken.
Leuke dag om niet snel te vergeten!

Ruben and Sao Took care of us perfectly and so kind!! Felt as if we were friends, that explained the island to us. Showed us different types of the dolphins and whales that day (Perfect timing) :D …we had a very perfect day! Highly recommended

Wir haben selten einen sympathischeren Skipper getroffen - seine dänische Lebensfreude ist einfach ansteckend! Wir kommen gerne wieder und würden es sofort wieder buchen. Alles Team an Board, tolles Ausflug, pures Urlaubsfeeling, top Service und echtes Highlight.

Henrik and his crew spared no effort to make this exciting and accommodating our preferences. We were very comfortable, had funny discussions, enjoyed the real sailing experience. Due to much wind were a bit limited where to anchor to snorkle but found a good spot after all.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Nachmitag auf dem Segelboot. Die Crew war sehr nett und ist perfekt auf uns eingegangen. Wir waren allerdings nur 3 Gäste an Bord, was zusätzlich zur Kapverdischen Lebensphilosophie "no stress" beigetragen hat. Der Ausflug ist uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert.

Der perfekte Ausflug für uns. Wir sind pünktlich vom Club abgeholt worden. In Santa Maria sind wir schon erwartet worden und hatten einen tollen Ausflug. Hat sich wirklich gelohnt
