Great experience overall, but a couple of niggles; Despite being told when we booked that goggles and bandanas were included, we were hassled into paying for them when we arrived. Take your own bandanas and you don't need the goggles! Also (not the tour operator's fault) we took forever to get to the venue because people just weren't there on time for their pickups. Rude!

Wir wurden von brüllenden Lautsprechern mit undefinierbarer Musik empfangen und kurz darauf zum Schoppen gedrängt. Abfahrt dann irgendwann, auf Straßen bis zum Domitai-Park. Höhle: Kaum drinnen wurde es die Hölle, die wir fluchtartig verlassen mußten. In der Cenote wurde eine wahnsinnig laute Disco gemacht. Die eigentliche Tour mit den Buggys fand dann nur auf einer ausgeleierten Piste statt. Keine Spur von Offroad. Schlamm: 3 künstlich angelegte Becken voll Dreckbrühe, die man meiden sollte ??

Good amount of time on buggies. Very muddy water won't come out of clothes easy so don't wear anything you like. . Loved the cave swim. It was overall a very good experience. Very good value for money. Would recommend.

Buggyturen var veldig gøy, og det føltes trygt. Vi ble hentet i tide på hotellet, og siden vi hadde bestilt gjennom tui fikk vi bandana og briller inkludert. Vi fikk derimot ikke smake noe mat, eller lokal drink. Vi fikk smake på varm sjokolade og sjokoladete, men ikke de andre tingene som det sto at var inkludert. Ellers storkoste vi oss!

Het is niet wat ze beloven. Je krijgt geen uitleg over hoe de buggy werkt. Zitten en zelf bekijken hoe het werkt. Buggy bleef knipperend op onderhoud service. Handrem.was lam en viel er steeds op. Geen snacks of drinken gehad. Zwemmen in de grot viel erg tegen . Was een nep grot en ging vooral om de party in de grot met muziek. Rijden zelf was wel leuk maar uitleg of iets wat daarop lijkt zou handig zijn.

We never had any drinks or snacks as advertised during booking . We received a taste of coffee hot chocolate from the gift shop but that was to encourage you to buy there products which was good . There were places around to buy drinks but we did not purchase drinks

The swimming experience is vile due to the absolute volume of unneeded music blaring. The place is beautiful despite the man made nature of a lot of it. My partner and I left very quickly. However the guides noticed and showed us to a table where we were treated to some local snacks and wine, exceptional of them to do this thank you. Helmets are a joke as my strap was broken so would do nothing. I was okay with this others may not be. The guides very very efficient and well organised

Enjoyed the swim in the cave and the off road. The only negative was the way you are constantly being asked to add on extras like photographers. You are ushered into the shop given a basket and encouraged to spend your money. Apart from that it was a good experience.

It was a great experience! If you book through TUI, you will get a different buggy to the rest of the group, it’s bigger and more powerful. You also get a snack and a drink, but we didn’t think this was worth the money. It was a small plate of fruit, water and some pineapple wine. Overall it was a brilliant trip and we would do it again!

Enjoyed the buggy and had a decent amount of time on them. The village we went to was not a real local village it had actors in a newly built village set up. The cenote swim was beautiful but ruined by loud music when something so beautiful should be peaceful.

Even though the buggy we had sprayed us with boiling coolant (we were fine!) they replaced our buggy with a new and more modern one during our break. We were identified as to having paid extra for the snack but don’t think that was worth it. We were not made aware of the fact that we had complimentary glasses included in our fee as this led to some confusion on our part. We did not accept them as we didn’t know they were included.

Netter Ausflug inkl. Buggyfahrt und Besuch einer Cenote. Leider ohne Tourguide. Zeiten wurden nie abgesprochen, daher viele unnütze Wartezeiten. Allerdings macht die Tour trotzdem viel Spaß und wir empfehlen sie weiter. Fotos nach der Tour unglaublich teuer (Paket 95 US$). Schade, wir hätten gerne eines zur Erinnerung genommen, aber nicht zu diesem Preis.

We had a lovely day. So much fun. Wear clothes that you dont mind getting dirty or muddy get a waterproofpouch for your mobile so you can take photos. The trip with Tui includes goggles and a bandana where other tours do not. The only downside is the cost of the photos which you get pestered to buy as soon as you get to the start of the tour. Swimming in the cenote is a must!!

Goed georganiseerd. Maar te veel buggy’s op de route. Meer file rijden dan lekker scheuren. Gedeelte uitleg over koffie en chocolade duurde te lang. We hadden een buggy excursie geboekt, dan wil je buggy rijden en geen rondleiding over lokale gebruiken.

Keine Einweisung zum Fahrzeug, teilweise wurden Buggys während der Tour abgeschleppt wodurch es nur ein Stop&Go war, kein richtiger Fahrspaß. Da fragt man sich auch ob das alles so sicher ist…Dadurch musste man an Straßen stehenbleiben die eher „ungemütlich“ waren und Verkäufer ihre Ware aufgedrängt haben. Am Ende natürlich Souvenirshopzwang mit überteuerten Fotos die angeboten werden. War in Ordnung, aber kein Erlebnis was wir für den Preis wieder buchen würden.

Die Fahrt war super, ebenfalls das Bad in der Cenote. Leider wurde nicht an Brillenträger gedacht, da es Brillen für den Staub gab, aber Brillenträger, die Sehstärke beim Fahren benötigen, somit kaum bis garnicht fahren können. Zum Glück brauchte mein Partner keine Brille. Somit hatten wir doch noch großen Fahrspaß.

Wow, what a day!! My husband and I booked the half-day buggie tour through TUI and we absolutely loved it. TIPS: you are going to get filthy, so wear something you don’t mind getting covered in mud. Wear your swimming gear underneath your clothes as you go to a cenote for a swim after the buggies. Or take your swimming gear, and a towel in a waterproof/mud proof bag, again something you don’t mind getting filthy! Make sure you eat breakfast, as the “lunch” provided is just fruit and wine!

Uns hat überhaupt nicht gefallen: Als wir mit dem Bus angekommen sind, wurden wir erstmal komplett alleine gelassen. Wir wurden regelrecht überfallen eine Rumprobe oder Zigarrenprobe zu machen. Genauso wurde uns sehr unangenehm für 80 Dollar ein Foto Paket angeboten! Als wir alles verneinten reagierte man nicht ganz so nett darauf. Wir wollten am liebsten wieder ins Hotel. Unsere Tücher/ Brille bekamen wir dann durch Zufall! Aus der Cenote wurde eine Disco gemacht was furchtbar war

Not the best trip! The group was too big - about 40 vehicles and we were constantly waiting for others. We apparently booked the VIP trip from Tui and were treated differently which was very awkward! We were offered snacks but missed on coffee, tobacco and taino village presentation. the route pass through a very poor neighbourhood which must be very disturbing to them. The trucks are very loud and pass their houses several times a day. Generally 4/10 but wouldn't recommend

Very disappointed. More time upselling in gift shop and tasting (selling merch) than in the boogies. Boogies was a huge let down. All in a single file line, breathing in exhaust and on a paved road with some dirt on top. Looks to have 2 water holes that had buckets of water poured over it. The swim cave was amazing. Other than that positive, I woukd NOT recommend this excursion. It was not cheap either.

The staff in the gift shop we were forced into were very pushy, cigars weren’t priced and they attempted to charge double the eventual price, extremely pushy wouldn’t take no for an answer. Really ruined the whole experience, I’m really disappointed that this was a TUI experience where your forced into two high pressure gift shops! We weren’t given the option to have the cheaper experience with bought the “lunch and tasting” which other people who booked on TUI online got, wast of money

Too much hard sell when we arrived. Tried to sell photo package then rum then cigars and then had another attempt with discounted photos. We were trying to understand what we needed to do and the hard sell took precedence. Once we got on the buggy ride we had a good time but we felt like pulling out before we even got underway. Explain first --> then provide equipment --> then soft sell and we would have been happier

No instructions on how to drive the vehicle at all,the hand break didn't work at all. Good safety as regards to no over taking ect . Very rushed through the trip,too long in the gift shop at the beginning. We were taken for fruit in a cafe half way through which we didn't want,as that meant we missed most of the chocolate part of the trip. The cave swimming was amazing. The trip needs to be slowed down and cut out the gift shop in the morning, that can be an option afterwards.

Schön war, dass wir sehr lange mit den Buggys gefahren sind. Die Buggys sind leider nicht mehr gut zu fahren, da die Lenkung schon sehr ausgeschlagen war und das Gas schlecht abgenommen haben. Die Cenote war sehr schön, leider hat die laute Musik meiner Meinung nach, die Atmosphäre zerstört.

As with all trips in the DR, the first item on the itinerary is a stop at the gift shop... Where you have to buy something to get a locker to leave your belongings in. What you're not told is you need a face mask, which they will sell you for $5. The buggys are a bit run down and a few broke down on the trip, but the off-road route was good and long. However the trip was spoiled when someone crashed into us from behind, hurting us both and the staff weren't concerned about us, just the buggys.

We got the bandana and eye googles for free which was good as most places you need to pay, we started the buggy ride quickly after getting there. Seeing the old ‘villiage’ was interesting. Swimming in the cenote was incredible and not rushed. The other section of buggy riding was long and fun with bits of muddy water but would have liked to drive faster, but we were in a in a very large group.(20 buggies?) Transfer back time wasn’t very long and got to the hotel in time to eat lunch.

Buggys Bremsen funktionierten schlecht. Reifen waren teilweise ohne Profil. Mittagessen waren 3 Scheiben Annas, 3 Würfel Wassermelone und 2 Scheiben Mango und ein Glas Wein. Mittagessen rechtfertigt in keinsterweise den Preis. Fahrt hätte gerne länger sein können. Gruppe viel zu groß

Very rushed. Only got about 10 mins in the cave pool and by the time you had gone to the toilet and got changed it was time to get out. No vegetarian alternative at the snack after the cave and, again, very rushed - we got served our food last as there was only 1 server then after 1 min the guide said it was time to go and we were still eating. Buggies were fun but a bit underwhelming for the money, the whole tour was. Then we got left behind when it was time to leave and had to wait 30 mins

The pickup was 25 mins late,but it was nobody's fault.the buggy was great,lots of mud and a bit of dust which made it all the more fun.the talk and cultural show were informative and fun and not too long, the cenote was absolutely amazing, crystal clear water not too busy, could have spent longer than the 25mins we were given.quick bite to eat then a drive in the buggy back. All in great experience and good value for money, would definitely recommend

Nous avons Apprécier le parcours, mais malheureusement on nous a donné un buggy où la roue était cassé plié en deux qui aurait pu nous couter La vie, du coup on a dû changer de **********, et encore une fois il ne fonctionnait pas. Il n’accélérait pas sur les montées et on a rechangé de buggy. ce qui n’était pas cool Il est important de vérifier les buggy avant que les gens puissent monter dessus.

It was fun driving the buggy’s and swimming in the cave lake but the tribe part and food tryin wasn’t very good and I feel like there should have been more driving the buggy’s and go quicker as it wasn’t as exiting and adrenaline filled as I’d hoped

The tour wasn't explained properly by staff so you were left wondering what to do next. Tour stated that drinks and snacks were provided: we received 6 slices of fruit each and water which we had to ask for. Terracross and Cave swim was amazing! Can't fault it! Coffee and chocolate was a sales gimmic for the venue.

We enjoyed all aspects of the trip and the insight into Dominican culture was a fabulous bonus as we weren’t aware of that side to the trip. Only negative comments are regarding the buggy that failed twice resulting in keep swapping buggy’s and getting split up from other family members

I felt very underwhelmed by this experience I had hoped I would have been on the vehicles longer than I was and I also felt they would have had 1. More power and 2. Have a bit more offroading. I did not feel what I paid and what was advertised is what I received.

Amazing excursion, you get 45mins of driving time on the buggies, there’s a small performance from the village locals and you get to try their locally made coffee and hot chocolate. They is an amazing cave and where you can swim for 35mins and there is a DJ playing. The only downside is there are around 40 people driving so if the person in front of you is driving slow you stuck behind them. Overall great experience perfect for family’s.

Limited instructions about vehicle and controls, vehicle maintenance was clearly poor - our vehicle in particular had virtually no brakes and the steering column was unresponsive. One of our front wheels snapped off on the journey back. The price for the digital photo link was extremely high and excessive, extortion almost at $70. A digital link costs absolutely nothing or Cents. $25 max should be enough for this. On the plus side the cave swimming and facilities were exceptional - Toilets ??

The collection from the hotel was a little confusing, but once we’d identified our transport everything was smooth. The friendliness of staff and the event itself was very enjoyable. After the event the first thing that came to mind was absolutely brilliant, value for money and would recommend to anyone even when travelling with children

Unfortunately the driver didn't collect us from hotel - says he came but didn't see us. However Fray our rep sorted us a taxi for to the venue immediately (shout out to Fray - great guy). Once there the buggies were fun. Ours broke 3 times ?? but only at the last time couldn't get going again about 1km from the end.. This added to the fun tbh. Lots of young kids run alongside so please have some dollars ready for them as they aren't as lucky as we are! Cave fantastic. Guides great. ??????

Abholung am Hotel verspätet, ca. 30 Minuten. Fahrt nach Punta Cana hat ca 1.5 Stunden gedauert. Das war uns bei Buchung nicht bewusst und wir würden auf die lange Fahrzeit nicht aufmerksam gemacht. Der Fahrer des Busse ist trotz starkem Regen schnell gefahren und hat mehrere riskante Uberholmanöver getätigt Buggys waren sehr abgefahren und abgenutzt. Verkehrstauglich? Gänge konnten nur mit Gewalt von den Guides eingeworfen werden. Die Tour war gut und wild. Fotos vom Ausflug überteuert!!!

Arrivés place, nous avons été harcelés pour faire des achats dans le magasin de souvenirs. Ensuite, nous avons payé notre excursion presque le double du prix et nous avons eu, à une chose près, le même service. La seule chose que nous avons eu en plus, c’est les foulards et la petite collation du matin. Cependant, en faisant la collation, nous avons manqué les explications sur le cacao et les cigares. C’est dommage. Finalement nous avons eu les mêmes Buggy que les autres, et non un supérieur !

Wir wurden beim Hotel abgeholt und sicher zum Anbieter gebracht. Im Hotel selber war ein Tui Mitarbeiter und wir konnten ihn noch fragen, da wir bei etwas falsch gebucht haben. Es het danach alles reibungslos geklappt

Trip was very well organised from pick up, arrival to the park and drop off. Was a fun experience, time to swim in the cave, watch a traditional dance and learn how they make some of their local products. Buggy’s was fun, brakes dubious and be warned, you get very dirty. Overall thoroughly enjoyed the experience

Rit met buggy was prima, rest er om heen voldeed niet helemaal aan de verwachtingen. De koffie en cacao boerderij waren in scène gezet op het terrein. Ik had verwacht onderweg met de buggy daadwerkelijk bij de boerderijen te stoppen.

Godt organisert, ble hentet som avtalt. Mange turister samtidig som kjørte i kolonner på opparbeidede veier, Gården var tydelig bygget ut for turister. Gråttebading også på denne gården. Turen var ikke på landsbygda på den måten jeg hadde forstått det ut fra annonsen, alt opparbeidet for turister.

En passant par Tui, nous avons eu la possibilité d être en petit groupe avec seulement 4 buggies et d être "VIP" pour les activités. Les autres groupes sortaient à plus de 20 buggies. Pour des excursions de ce genre c est non négligeables et cela permet de profiter un maximum avec un guide plus à l écoute

Auf deutsch gebucht, aber niemand konnte deutsch! Transfer war pünktlich! Hohe Wartezeit vor Ort! Souvenirshop! Tour war entlang von Feldern! Super schlammig! Hoher Fahrspass! The trail was nice The Taino village was great as well as the cave swim It's a shame Macao Beach and visiting a typical Dominican house is no longer on the trip. Those were extras in the TUI collection which made it stand out. The gift shop also doesn't have prices displayed on the products which I feel takes away from the Trusted part as different people may be charged different prices

Buggy driving was fantastic, if a little dusty at times! (though that is expected). The tour around the caves and plantation were great and made the trip that bit special. Worth noting that (in our case anyway) you don't drive the buggies back, you hop back into the bus back to HQ. I suspect this is because there is plenty of alcohol available during the tour! Overall I would definitely recommend, one of the best excursions we did.

The buggies were great. The amount of time in them was great. The size of our group was great. The other buggy traffic was horrendous. The only other negative was it was pretty rushed at times. But with all we had to do in the limited time it was sort of to be expected. All in, it was a trip I would do again

We had a fantastic experience, were treated like VIP 's and Juan Carlos was a great guide, took lots of pictures and there was no rush where ever we went. The service was very efficient picked up on time by Hector and then called at a few other hotels before going to the buggy park. We then had a talk and a look round the shop and then off we went, we went to the park where we went swimming in the caves which were beautiful and then to a show which was fun and then a talk on produce of the domican republic then off to a snack with pineapple wine and then off on more dirt tracks and ended up at the beach where we had a swim and then a walk back to the buggy where a drink and snack were provided and then more driving back to the buggy park. We have a great time and would recommend anyone to do this.

Our guide on this trip was MATHIAS AMOS and it ended up being just us and him, he made the trip very interesting explaining the local vegetation, being very patient when we went for swim, and made driving experience brilliant, great terrain....very muddy! Only downside was the constant selling tactics for coffee, tobacco, rum etc

Enjoyed the driving of the buggy, not too exciting but nice and chilled apart from the beggars chasing you down on the side of the road. The first cave paintings were very pretty and illuminated. Cave swim was very good! Beach trip was beautiful. Problem is that the guides rushed everything so quick and didn’t make much effort with the customers. Made you feel like they were rushed through the tour. Also the coffee plantation talk was rushed and felt like just a sales talk and didn’t feel like I would be purchasing from an authentic local farm shop. I think overall a 6/10
