We had a brilliant time learning about Carnevale from someone who had been born mere minutes from the Venetian atelier. Giulia was kind and patient with us during our session and my daughter said it was the highlight of her trip to Venice!

Had an absolute blast at this workshop! Our host, I don't know how to spell her name, but she was Greek, was incredible! She was so helpful with both design choices and sharing mask history. We were able to make pretty good masks and had such a great time doing it! Would really recommend doing this!

Avec ma fille de 14 ans, nous avons beaucoup aimé cet atelier. Les gens étaient adorables, nous avons appris plein de choses sur le carnaval et avons pu faire de magnifiques masques, grâce à leurs conseils et aide, qui nous ont servis pendant le carnaval.

A unique experience you can have while in Venice. Igor was great, guided us through it all but let us enjoy at our own pace. It was not just a workshop but a friendly chat as well, which made for an even better memory.

we had a great time at Atelier Sonno Veneziano with Giulia and Igor. Their explanations on Venezian mask and Carneval traditions were fascinating and you can see they are truly passionate about their profession. I strongly recommend this experience for those visiting Venice, great group activity!

Since carnaval and masks are an integral part of Venice, my wife and I decided to try our hand at mask decorating. We booked for 2 hours at Sogno's: super-friendly people in a very calming and relaxing atmosphere, time just flew by! We got to take our masks home as souvenirs too. Highly recommended!
