The first stop of the tour is the Holy Island, connected to the mainland by a causeway which leads into the quaint island village of Lindisfarne, from where there are stunning views of Lindisfarne Castle. We had a good trip. More time at Lindesfarne so we could walk to the priory and explore the town would have made the trip ideal.

Super leuke dagtrip. We hadden een geweldige gids mee (Paul Santa), die op een leuke manier de historie vertelde over de plekken waar we langs kwamen en waar we stopten om de plekken te bezichtigen. Iedereen die mee was met deze tour kreeg persoonlijke aandacht van de gids. Zo werden tevens verdiepende vragen over de historie beantwoord.
