Tolle Tour entlang der Nordwestküste Madeiras! Kleine, gemischte Gruppe im Jeep (Englisch, Dänisch, Deutsch) – etwas wenig Beinfreiheit, aber gemütlich. Viele schöne Stopps, der Fahrer hat viel erklärt. Wetter war wechselhaft: Sonne, Regen und Wolken – also besser auf alles vorbereitet sein. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Een geweldige tocht met 4x4 begeleid door Karim, die 7 talen spreekt waaronder Nederlands. Hij vertel vanuit het hart; enthousiast en betrokken bij zijn gasten. Veel moois gezien! Vooral ook een fantastische rit door de smalste straatjes via het hogere middengedeelte van het eiland, naar het prachtige noorden.

We hebben een heerlijke dag uit gehad en we hebben waanzinnig veel gezien. Helaas konden we vanwege de bosbrand niet naar het Fanal Forest, maar de dag is ingevuld met andere prachtige locaties. Onze gids wist veel te vertellen. Het off-roaden was super gaaf! We moesten los van de beokingskosten nog toegang betalen tot het uitkijkpunt bij Cabo Girao (2 euro) en het zeezwembad in Porto Moniz (3 euro). Hoewel het kleine bedragen zijn, had ik verwacht dat dit inbegrepen was.

It was a lot of fun! The weather wasn't kind which you can't do anything about but it would have been good to have a bit more detailed info about the various drop off points and terrain so we could have been better prepared clothing and footwear wise. The restaurant stop was excellent and very welcome, our guide was great, like I say, the trip was a lot of fun and it was great to learn about and see so a bit more of the beautiful island.

Fantastische dag ! Afwisselend binnen 10 minuten rijden verschillende weerstypen,van zon naar regenbuien, mist. Prachtig Ring of the Lord bos in de mist. De gids is een enthousiaste verteller. De beste landschaps dag van de vakantie. Heerlijk gegeten ook smiddags.

Deze activiteit was het toppunt van onze vakantie! Onze gids, Gil Sousa, heeft hier een enorme grote rol ingespeeld; een zeer vlotte man die enorm veel weet over de omgeving en je perfect kan meenemen op het leven in Madeira. Boek deze activiteit en duim dat je Gil als gids hebt!!!

Not to be missed, supplement’s other tours, see other area’s that are not easily accessible, old roads etc. Sit in the front passenger seat for best effect. If you like your chicken dryish as we do in England don’t have chicken breast in the restaurant, as it’s texture is like fish.

This was a fun way to explore the north west of the island. We enjoyed having the opportunity to swim in Porto Moniz, Gil the driver/guide, ensured we had sufficient time for this. It was adventurous with the open topped Land-rover traveling up and down the steep roads, paths and tracks. Gil was very informative, safety conscious, and ensured everyone got all the photos they wanted, always offering to take group photos for us. Take layers as weather changes dramatically between north and south.

Fun, full on day trip. Great variety. Superb guide/driver. We felt safe and well looked after. The variety of locations was superb and we saw the real Madeira. Spectacular scenery. Would highly recommend this jeep trip.

My mum and I loved this 4x4 trip! Our guide was named Gill, and he made the trip even better, by sharing local knowledge, taking us to quiet viewing points, and always able to answer any questions! Even though we experienced some mist and rain on our trip, the whole experience was brilliant!

Had graag wat meer tijd doorgebracht in Fanal. Ook miste ik een stop bij het zwarte strand Seixal. Verder was t top. En ook alle complimenten voor Pedro de gids., die heel veel over Madeira vertelde.

Es war eine schöne und sehr abwechlungsreiche Tour, bei der es viele verschiedene Landschaften zu bestaunen gab. Unser Guide hat uns viel erzählt. Die Off-Road Abschnitte haben Spaß gemacht und auch die Fahrt mit dem offenen Dach. Dabei war es aber manchmal etwas kühl.

Insgesamt war es eine interessante und erlebnisreiche Tour. Wir hatten einen sehr guten Guide, der sich viel Mühe gegeben hat und auch viel erklärt hat. Allerdings war uns nicht bewusst, dass wir mit dem offenen Jeep gefahren werden. Das hätte vorher mitgeteilt werden müssen!!!

Excellent day , with excellent driver and guide.
Really enjoyed the day all round especially the stop off at fanal forest in the fog, thats was really different especially with the rest of the island hot and sunny.

Mało informacji o mijanych/ zwiedzanych miejscach. Dowiezienie na miejsce i pokazanie kierunku to za mało. Brak komunikacji pomiędzy pojazdami.
