Das Personal Alberto und raffael waren sehr sympathisch und haben auch viel über die Affen erzählt, wir haben es in Kombination mit dem Buggy’s gemacht was ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen ist. Mr. Tequila so nannte er sich war sehr lustig hat uns alles super erklärt. Essen vor Ort war auch sehr lecker.

Very disappointed, was a total waste of money and time. We drove with the bungalow around the same 1mile for more than 5 times. We were supposed to swim in a big beautiful river and turned out to be a stream with dirty water that you could not get in. Good choices very poor.

the whole day was well organised. the monkey part of the experience was good but short, also thought that you would see more of the enclosure rather than a couple of platforms when the guide put food in a bowl and the monkeys come to you. the buggy part was a massive disappointment, so slow with no adrenaline rush at all.

The ziplines and monkeyland were really enjoyable. The ziplines were fun and staff really helpful and kept you safe. There were points you could stop if you didn't enjoy it however I'd recommend doing it all as was amazing. Monkeyland was fun and lots of interesting facts. Sammy our guide was amazing. Buggies I wasn't keen on and wouldn't do again. Mostly on roads and didn't enjoy it as much. Also you need swimming and towels if doing buggies as can swim in a river. Doesnt tell you this on site

Sans doute la pire expérience du séjour. Nous sommes partis à 10H30 pour rentrer à 19H30 avec 2H30 de transport (c'était prévu pas de soucis) et trois heures d'activités ... ce qui laisse environ plus ou moins 4 heures à attendre pour on ne sait pas quoi avant pendant et après les activités. Nous avons vu les singes et c'était super mais pour le reste cela ne valait pas le coup. Nous devions faire les singes, le buggy et la tyrolienne et cette dernière avait disparu du programme. Bref une cata.

Monkey land was our favorite part, the meal was amazing and authentic Dominican food, loved being able to sample the coffee and chocolate along with riding the buggies. Great experience all around, would do this excursion again when coming back to Dominican Republic!

Such a great day! The monkeys were so much fun, and the buggies were even better, with stunning mountain views all around us. The whole day was well worth the money. The only downside was the transport - we had to switch between two different buses, which felt a bit disorganised and unnecessary. That said, it was still the best activity we did in the Dominican Republic. Highly recommended it.

The buggies were great. However Monkeyland is totally missold as it is literally based on an interaction with the Squirrel monkeys in an enclosed area. Due to our concerns of the monkeys climbing over us and the risk of being bitten or scratched (there is no guarantee the monkeys are vaccinated and free from rabies) we decided not to do the interaction, however we didn't know this was the only way we'd see the monkeys. This isn't 'Monkeyland', its just a monkey interaction, which is unethical.

Monkey land was wonderful. The Buggy ride was lackluster. Super uncomfortable in the backseat, would NOT recommend 4 adults in one buggy. We have done this in other places and the back seats were just as comfortable as the front, but these were not. Way too many “classroom” settings. Did really enjoy the cigar demo. Lunch was very good.

The guide we had on the the truck was rude, dismissive and very difficult to understand. His English was very poor, which made it difficult to enjoy the journey. I told him I did not understand, he rudely said - pay attention. He was nea over 1 Hr ate picking us up, no apology or explanation. At Monkey Land, we had to pay for a lock to use the lockers Which was disappointing considering what we paid for 45 minutes with the Monkeys. The Monkeys were amazing, would definitely do it again

Das Monkeyland war toll mit netten Guides. Die Buggytour war eine Enttäuschung. Der Guide hörte sich gerne selber reden und tat das auch länger als die eigentliche Buggyfahrt dauerte. Man fuhr in zwei kleinen Kreisen eigentlich nur für die Fotos. Mittendrin gab es eine sehr langweilige, sehr lang anhaltende Verkaufsveranstaltung. Bei dem Preis eine Frechheit.

Monkeys were excellent and guides were superb. Lunch was stunning and the buggies were a great experience with the added bonus of a stop at a lake. Did feel there was a lot of attempts to sell to us along the way- once would have been enough! Also the journey was 90 mins and we were in a safari truck which was not hugely comfortable. Overall, superb trip out. It just a couple of areas where it could have been even better.

I loved the monkey land activities but I also loved the "pre-activities." I wasn't expecting to have such a great tour guide (kudos to Angel) who told us so much about the towns or the history of the Dominican during the trip to monkey land.

Le buggy est vraiment nulle, 25 minutes à tout casser pour un prix exorbitant et aucune sensation si ce n’est que de faire de la route et un petit tour dans la nature ! Le temps de midi trop court, pas eu le temps de terminer son repas( next dessert et café) ensuite direction monkeyland , heureusement celui-ci remonte ma note car malgré un petit parcours, l expérience était top! Si je dois séparer les deux, je donnerai 3/10 au buggy et 8/10 pour les singes. Mais vraiment trop chers!!

Expensive for the time you have with the monkey's, would of been better with a smaller group so we would have more interaction with the monkey's as they really only get on you when the guide puts a piece of food in your bowl but as soon as its gone so do the monkeys

Dont listen to the description as says 2-4 hours we were 7 1/2 hours but was sooo worth it. Said food wasnt included but a buffet lunch was provided. Also stated you couldnt wear suncream you could it just had to be applied way before any interaction with the monkeys. Sammy our guide and freddie our driver amazing. And PJ at monkeyland what a guy. Would def recommend this trip we did buggies and monkeys.

I love everything about monkey land, my kids were absolutely thrilled, best service, very kind staff members, very safe. With monkey land adventures my vacation was complete. Scores are lower than we would have given. The reasons are: 1. When we got there, as one of the party had a cold we saw for the first time that you should not enter the monkey enclosure. That was the purpose of this part of the adventure. It would be more beneficial if the reps had informed us before the booking we may not have booked and may have done the zip wire instead. I provided this feedback via the app. 2. When reporting this (cold) to one of the monkey land staff there was no empathy.

We did both the monkey tour & buggies. Monkeys, cigar experience & lunch no complaints. Excellent. However the buggies were not good. We only went about 3 miles along 2 roads. Have done this sort of thing in Jamaica & Cyprus, both were superb. This one, in all honesty, shocking. Stopped 15 minutes to a pool & then for 20 minutes to a coffee & chocolate place to try to get us to buy goods. Would not recommend the buggies but would everything else.

Enjoyed the monkeys but a lot of hanging around watching cigars being made and trying to sell you stuff. Good lunch. The buggies were ok but most of it was on local roads not off road. This trip does not take 2-4 hours as described we didn’t get back to our hotel for 9 hours. A long converluted transfer changing buses at a petrol station am hanging around for ages waiting for people. Not a half day as advertised.

Our guide Gregory was amazing from start to finish, so friendly on the journey was very knowledgeable about history of the area and was making everyone laugh. Compared to other guides Gregory interacted with us none stop and was such a pleasure to be around. Only are or improvement would be the buggies no one checked lot of us was strapped in or doors shut meaning lot of doors flung open when driving.

Leuk om zo de kleine aapjes te zien, echter zijn ze zo opgevoed dat ze alleen komen als de baas het eten geeft. Het mindere is dat het zo kort is dat je geen kans hebt om te ervaren hoe de ervaring met een aapje op je hand is. Een foto maken waardoor wij apart wilde staan van onze vrienden was niet eens mogelijk, dat vonden we wel erg jammer.

We did the combo tour zip line buggies and monkeys. You get plenty of time with the monkeys and lots of photo opportunities. The zip lines are amazing and they build up in size gradually which helps if your nervous with heights. The only bad psrt about this tour is the transfer. It’s around 40 miles away it took about an hour and a half on the way there but on the way back took over 2 and a half hours so really hungry & tired after the 13 hours. Early pick up so you also miss breakfast.

The monkeys were great. The star of the show by far. We loved how they interacted. The zip line was a lot of fun and very impressive. They obviously had fun setting it up. The coffee and chocolate was obviously a hard sell. And we were given a snack. Then we were told it was time for lunch. We declined lunch as we were already full on the snack. It was too hot for more food. We were made to wait as we had said no to the extra lunch....... The jungle buggy was fun, but it was just a big loop

I have seen some reviews that have said they only got 15 minutes with the monkeys - we were with them for aprox 45 minutes. It was so lovely, the animals were very clearly well looked after and the keepers treated them with total respect. There is quite a bit of waiting around prior to going into the monkey area but this is so that the staff can ensure everyone is very clear about the safety aspects.

Absolutely loved this excursion. Getting up close to the monkeys was amazing. I was a little apprehensive before we arrived in case they would bite me, but I needn't have worried, as they are so friendly and jump around all over the place. What an experience ?? Our guide on the bus was great too. Really happy, really chatty and full of information.

Waren sehr positiv überrascht. Waren im Vorhinein etwas skeptisch, da es sich um eingesperrte Tiere handelt. Es wurde sehr auf die Sicherheit und das Wohlergehen der Tiere geachtet,Sie hatten viel Platz für sich. Die Guides waren sehr nett und haben viele interessante Dinge erzählt. Alle sprachen gutes Englisch (teilweise deutsch oder französisch), Die Buggie-tour war länger als erwartet und hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die location ist sehr schön. Beim Essen gab es leider nichts vegetarisches.

The monkeys were great and the buggy tour fun. We got picked up at 7.45 and got dropped off at 5pm, so not a 2 to 4 hour trip as stated on TUI app, plus food and drink was included, unlike what the TUI app stated. They try to sell dominican produce a little too much, but still a good trip.

Was not told before booking that buggy ride partly on road so shocked at this. There was no mention of a lake you could go into. Even thou told to drive no more than 20 mph everyone did so we had trouble at times seeing which way others had gone as last. The brakes were not reliable enough to keep up. The monkey part was good but photos were not value for money at 40 dollars and especially buggy ones at same price there were several repeats and as digital it made it even more of a rip off.

The monkey section was really cool and it was great being so close to them. The monkeys are certainly cared for and kept in a nice environment. The only negative was the time spent with them, only about 25 minutes. The buggies were fun and PJ our buggy guide was so funny and engaging. Take a bandana as there is a lot of dust and mud ! The food was good and there was opportunity to buy bits . Value for money

This excursion was the best I have been on. We had the monkey land plus buggy. We were out from 7:20 until 3:30 so a full day which is good for the money we paid. Monkey land was amazing. There’s so many monkeys and it’s in a natural environment for them. The buggies were also really good. You get to drive yourself and it lasts around an hour including a stop at a river. Overall the best excursion would highly recommend.

Wunderschöner Ausflug mir vielen Highlights Super nette guides....young boy und PJ waren der Knaller...Wir haben den Ausflug mit 8 Jährigen Kind erlebt. Unser Reiseführer Carlos war super! Er war gut gelaunt, hat sich Zeit für uns genommen, alles erklärt und Fragen beantwortet. Das Erlebnis wurde mit Führung auf deutsch verkauft. Es wurde alles auf englisch und spanisch gemacht. Für Reisende die kein Englisch sprechen, daher nicht zu empfehlen. Die Abholung vom Hotel hat supergeklappt, genau wie die Heimreise. Für Abenteuerlustige empfehle ich auf jeden Fall inkl. Zivilen. Es war ein einmaliges Erlebnis.

Wir wurden pünktlich am Hotel abgeholt. Unsere Guides Amado und Emilio waren super freundlich, hilfsbereit und haben viel Wissen und Spaß vermittelt. Wir durften Kakao, Kaffee, Mamajuana und tropische Früchte probieren. Zudem gab es ein Mittagessen. Beim Zipplining und bei den Affen wurden Fotos gemacht. Diese konnten für 30,- bzw. 40,- USD (digital) erworben werden, was etwas zu teuer ist. Ein weiterer Kritikpunkt wäre, dass die Tour auf Englisch war, obwohl wir sie auf Deutsch gebucht hatten.

The monkey experience was fantastic, the guides were very knowledgeable, friendly & funny. The buggy ride was an absolute disaster. There were not enough buggies available for the amount of people, staff were rushing to fix 2 buggies for the group to go. We got given a buggy that broke down 3 times before even getting to the trail. We met the rest of the group on thier way back and had to intrude on another couples experience by hitching a ride back with them. 3 days later still no refund ??

My wife and I went to the activity with high expectations. It lived up to the expectation and more, the monkeys and staff were friendly and amazing fun. I would recommend this to any families, couples or whoever. The only concerns I would have is it is not the most accessible place as you need to be mobile to wonder in the monkey enclosure. The ziplines were great, staff explained what to do really well and would recommend to anyone who likes an adrenaline rush.

A lot more to the experience than just the monkeys also did some coffee and chocolate making classes. The monkeys were wonderful loads of interesting facts and plenty of time with them including photos and guide also helpful for you to take your own. Tour guide amado was witty and knowledgable about the local area, he spoke the whole journey there and back about life in the Dominican Republic which was very insightful. He was also very funny.

Loved this trip. A bit disappointed with the staff at Monkeyland as they didn't give us much fruit to encourage the monkeys to come to us. The younger visitors did fine but not us. Re the zip lining - wonderful but please be aware that if you have breathing problems (as listed on the TUI site), you really need to think about doing this. Easy to start with but as we got higher, it was difficult to breathe. The weather overall in the Dom Rep was very humid which didn't help. Great fun though!

Overall the experience was brilliant. The time with the monkeys was naturally the highlight and really worthwhile. I have teenage children and as a family we thoroughly enjoyed it. The preamble about the culture and coffee/cocoa was interesting but too long. Towards the end you could see that they were starting to lose the audience. Our tour guide ‘young boy’ was brilliant. He engaged the coach and was good entertainment. I would recommend it.

Amazing experience! Trainers and keepers were so good with the monkeys and you could tell they were looked after. Monkeys themselves were cute and we got a good hour - hour and a half with them! Guide Tusen and driver Durate were so good. They added so much fun (and music and dancing!) to the whole afternoon. They were late however and there was no response from TUI until we had to phone an international help desk to see what was happening!

Jesus and Pina the guide and driver were amazing so enthusiastic about their country and really tried to help us understand the cultural inheritance of Dominican and home village. Jesus was really passionate about explaining the coffee and Chocolate origins, Mokeyland was amazing and the only criticism is the visit is a bit short whilst amazing interacting with them we could have spent longer inside watching them play. The monkeys are amazing and the kids loved every min.

The service from TUI through the booking process up until the collection was non existent. I messaged several time to as for advice or a rep to contact us and help with no response at all. On the day of pick up we had not been included on the list for the collection bus, meaning we had a long delay whilst the helpful runners staff helped and fixed the issues. The trip was amazing, but had no involvement from TUI whatsoever.

Zu lange für einen Halbtagsausflug. Wir sind um 07.40 Uhr morgens gestartet und um 16.40 zum Hotel zurück gekommen. Bei den Affen war der Aufenthalt recht kurz, die Kinder wären gern noch länger dort gewesen. Wir haben 50 min auf die Buggies gewartet und obwohl 2 gebucht und bezahlt nur einen erhalten. Dafür durften wir noch 160$ Preisdifferenz nachzahlen obwohl wir bereits 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder gebucht hatten. insgesamt über 400€ für einen Vormittagsausflug ist definitiv zu teuer.

Die Organisation war gut und auch alles sehr gut erklärt. Die Guides gehen sehr gut mit den Tieren um und kennen diese auch sehr gut. Wir wurden in Gruppen aufgeteilt was auch sehr gut war. Ebenso wurden zwar Fotos gemacht, man konnte sich diese ansehen, man wurde aber nicht gezwungen diese zu kaufen. Leider fanden wir die Zeit bei den Affen sehr begrenzt. Es wäre schöner wenn man hier noch mehr Zeit verbringen könnte.

Monkeys were adorable, their enclosure is large and looks natural. Our guides were great and the tastings were good. The animal keepers seemed to know and care about the monkeys, but did not give us time to choose photos for printing so we ended up not buying any. We assumed rather than wanting to print pictures, it is easier for them to sell you all the pictures and send then digitally.

The monkey experience was a lifetime memory. We are vegan and don’t like zoos or any animal exploitation and this experience was nothing like that! The monkeys are in the natural habitat, minding their own business and come to you willingly to be fed. They are happy and interactive! People are not allowed to pet the monkeys to keep them safe but it’s still an incredible experience to have them climb and jump all over you…

Es war sehr schön im Monkeyland und die Sliplines haben richtig Spaß gemacht! Leider musste man danach etwas länger auf die anderen warten, da ein paar Leute noch eine Sache mehr mit gebucht hatten und im gleiche. Bus mitgefahren sind. Leider ist das Preis Leistungsverhältnis etwas hoch!

This tour was a delight, with the squirrel monkeys leaping all over the guests. It seemed that the monkeys are very well looked after, and we all had to wear masks over nose and mouth to protect the animals. The photos taken were excellent and reasonably priced compared with the Dolphinland extortionate pricing.

It was lovely to meet the monkeys and to be able to feed them. The staff obviously care for them greatly.The only negative part of the day was that I had to wait for about two hours because I was not taking part in the zip wire experience that took place first. If I had known that, I would have taken a book with me.

The tour guide was excellent very informative and great sense of humour. The zip line was a great experience but the group was very large so progress slow. The instructors we very thorough and enthusiastic. Will remember my race with one down the parallel lines, had a head start and he still beat me whilst doing so upside-down ??. Monkeyland was good fun.

Die Zipline Tour war gut und hat Spass gemacht. Monkeys zu sehen war gut aber eher wie im Zoo. Unverschämt war die Tatsache, dass wir jedesmal noch 5 Dollar für den Verschluss der Wertgegenstände zahlen mussten. Eine einfache abzocke und das sahen nicht nur wir so. Wir sind in einem Entwicklungsland, die Preise sind wie in Griechenland im Hochsommer - völlig unakzeptabel.

Das Monkeyland selbst ist wesentlich kleiner als ich dachte. Ich dachte außerdem die Affen würden dort ganz frei leben, aber es ist eine Art großer Käfig. Man wird relativ zügig durchgeschleust, hält an zwei Fotopunkten um (kostenpflichtige) Fotos machen zu lassen und geht wieder zurück. Die Affen sind sehr niedlich und die Anlage ist schön, aber die Größe und Zeit waren dennoch etwas enttäuschend. Das Zipline war sehr gut, wir hatten tolle Guides und haben uns stets sicher gefühlt. Die Anlage und die Landschaft sind wunderschön, sodass es wirklich viel Spaß gemacht hat. Unser Guide Gadiel während der Hin- und Rückfahrt war spitze, ein lustiger und sehr netter Typ, stets hilfsbereit. Er hat auch gut darauf geachtet, dass niemand irgendwo vergessen wird. Deutsch wurde jedoch nicht wie ausgewählt angeboten.

ZipLine ist ein tolles Abenteuer, die Betreuung ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Monkeyland war eine schöne Show, ganz liebe Tierchen. Ein gelungener Ausflug, das Team pünktlich und freundlich, Top!

I feel that this was a good excursion, it cost approximately 60pp and had about an hour in the money enclosure. The monkeys in that hour did spend time with you on there terms, would advise that this is not for younger children as advised not to touch/ stroke the monkeys as potentially they will bite

Guten Abend, ich habe deutsch geführt bestellt und stand auch in der buchungsbestätigung drin dies war leider nicht der Fall sondern nur spanisch und zum Teil englisch Erfrischunggetränke waren 2 Flaschen Wasser da versteh ich auch etwas anderes drunter die guides waren alle sehr freundlich das muß man trotz der sprachbariere hervorheben trotzdem passt das preisleistungsverhältnis nicht wirklich viel zeit geht verloren weil man jedes hotel anfährt viel zeit wird verbracht für erklärung über Kaffee und kakao was einem aber nichts bringt wenn es nicht in seiner Sprache ist bei den Affen ist man die kürzeste zeit es gibt 2 Plattformen auf einer Länge von knapp 200m die Zeit dient für Fotos die danach teuer bezahlt werden können ich persönlich finde 20 Euro weniger für den Ausflug mehr als ausreichend und die Fotos dürften nicht so imens teuer meine persönliche Meinung und wenn man deutsch geführt anbietet und sogar bestätigt dann erwarte ich das auch besonders bei dem Preis!!!

Zipline top! 12 kabels waar je vanaf glijd. Mooi bos en omgeving waar je uitzicht over hebt. De aapjes zijn te schattig. Komen op je springen, zitten op je hoofd en schouders. Volle bus op de heenweg. Konden nog maar net zitten. Ze rijden er erg hard op de wegen.

Zipline war toll, allerdings sehr viele Leute auf einmal. Abzockerei bei den Schliessfächern, musste jedesmal wieder 5$ bezahlt werden (Zipline, Monkeyland). Lange Wartezeiten, keine Deutschübersetzungen obwohl angepriesen. Kein Mittagessen, obwohl von 8 bis 16 Uhr unterwegs!

Der Pickup im Hotel lief reibungslos. Das eigentliche Transport in nächsten Bus war eine Katastrophe. Viel zu voll und absolut unbequem. Der Guide war an sich okay hat seine "Schafe" aber schlecht zusammengehalten. Zwischendurch wußte man nicht wo man sich als nächstes trifft. Am Organisationstalent kann er sicher noch arbeiten. Der einzigste deutsche Satz war "haben die deutschen auf Englisch gut verstanden". Hatten ja absichtlich einen deutschen Ausflug gebucht.

Interessante Facts über die Herstellung von Kaffee, Kakaopulver und Kokosöl. Nette Guides. Süße kleine Äffchen die sich auf das Essen in deinen Händen stürzen.
Das gesamte Personal hält sich streng an Maskenpflicht und Händedesinfektion um vor allem die Affen vor Krankheiten zu schützen! TOP!

Wirklich ein toller und weiter zu empfehlender Ausflug. Wir wurden mit einem offenen Bus abgeholt und haben auf der Fahrt in die Berge eine Menge über das Land, die Menschen etc. erfahren. Das Erlebnis mit den Äffchen war unglaublich toll. Etwas für die ganze Familie!!! Absolut zu empfehlen.

Alles in allem gut.
Einziger Negativpunkt: auch bei der Kombination Monkeyland & Zipline würde ein Mittagessen inkl. Getränke nicht schaden; wir waren bereits um die Mittagszeit ziemlich hungrig, da wir sehr früh vom Hotel abgeholt wurden (07:30 Uhr) und dementsprechend lange nichts gegessen hatten.

Das Erlebnis mit den Affen war sehr gut und hat spaß gemacht.
Auch danach die Führung durch den Bio laden wahren sehr gut. Aber wir haben extra was gebucht mit deutschen reiseführer. Das hat niht Funktioniert. Alles auf Englisch oder Spanisch.
