Bylismy bardzo rozczarowani - przewodniczka (p. Kasia) byla bardzo niemila, rzucala niemile i niepotrzebne komentarze pod adresem uczestników, poza tym niestety bardzo malo wiedziala o tradzie i wielokrotnie powtarzala sie. Jej opowiesc o Spinalondze nie byla ustrukturyzowana. Lunch fatalny - dostalismy splesnialy chleb i niestety po wycieczce wszyscy mielismy problemy zoladkowe. Takze niestety nie polecam.

We were picked up on time from our hotel and then left on the outskirts of Agios Nicolas by the side of a main road to wait "5 minutes for the coach" It was half an hour waiting on the busy road, nowhere to shelter or sit, at least there was a complimentary bottle of water left with us. We were staying in Agios Nicolas which was one of the two seaside villages to be visited on the excursion apart from ones we transited on the bus. Overall trip did not meet our expectations. Lunch was OK,

Insgesamt war es eine schöne und sehr interessante Tour. Pella hat ausführlich und interessant die Geschichte von Spinalonga und allem anderen erzählt, so dass es ein schöner Tag war. Ein wenig mehr Zeit zur freien Verfügung wäre noch besser gewesen, aber alles in allem ist die Tour empfehlenswert !

Das Mittagessen war na ja. Sehr lange Fahrt mit Abholung usw ca 11,5 Stunden. Hätte man uns darauf hinweisen müssen. Ansonsten sehr viel erfahren über Geschichte von Spinalonga.

Guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. Looked after and made sure everyone in the group could keep up with the pace. Poppy was her name. Would have been nice to have a choice of menu, even if a choice of 2 per starter, main, dessert. Not everyone likes moussaka and overly sugary desserts. Appreciate that lots of hotels will offer the same tours but being on a bus for over 90mins and collecting from quite a few hotels makes for a very long day each way.

Belle expérience, guide très pro, Spinalonga très intéressante visite explications claires et précises. repas très bien. Agios Nikolaos sans grand intérêt hormis faire des achats . Pour nous, départ de Rethymno Mare, beaucoup de Km, beaucoup d'heures de bus, donc sortie assez chère, mais c'était une expérience que nous voulions tenter. (pas certain que nous recommencerons)

Overall, it was a very enjoyable day which was a long 3hr journey both ways but that was our decision.. The guide was excellent and informative. The island tour was good and the visits to the 2 towns was brilliant. Very disappointed with the lunch. A very serious concern was that we and others were picked up originally by mini bus and went to meet the main coach. To get to the coach, we had to cross a VERY busy dual carriageway in the morning and evening. This was frightening !!!! Please sort.

Swietna wycieczka. Wszystko dobrze zorganizowane. Doskonaly przewodnik, wykorzystujacy kazda chwile na przekazanie dodatkowych i ciekawych informacji. Moze tylko w Agios Nicolaos daloby sie jeszcze wiec pokazac i opowiedziec ale to pod rozwage. I tak bylo doskonale i przeroslo nasze oczekiwania.

Cala wycieczka byla dla mnie strata pieniedzy i czasu przez postawe pani przewodnik. Niedosc ze jej umiejetnosci jako przewodnika byly bardzo kiepskie i po wycieczce nie mam wrazenia ze historia Spinalongi jest mi znana. Dodatkowo na odbiór negatywnie wplynely komentarze które nigdy nie powinny pasc. Po propozycji skorzystania z toalety pani przewodnik widzac liczbe osób chcacych skorzystac ironicznie powiedziala „ale to co pól autokaru pójdzie”. Przykladów jest wiecej ale liczba znaków za mala.

Coach driver was lovely, Maria the guide was amazing. Really informative and interesting. One of the best trips we have ever done. We all really enjoyed it. Maybe lunch could have been optional - we would rather have chosen our own place to eat, though I can see why pre booking in high season may be sensible. A great trip - thank you

Insgesamt waren die Aufenthalte zu kurz. Die angekündigte Zeit zum Schwimmen zu kurz. Der Aufenthalt in sag. Nikolaos reichte nicht um den Ort wirklich zu erkunden. Lieber einen Aufenthalt weniger, dafür mehr Zeit zum Wahrnehmen und Genießen einer sehr schönen Insel, ODER eines sehr schönen Ortes.

It was difficult on the island with so many groups touring. it was not easy to find the correct ferry at the end with no obvious person or sign. The information from the guide was excellent both on the coach and on the island. The lunch in the taverna was good.

Maria our guide was absolutely wonderful, she told us so much about the island & was very friendly. She really brought history to life. 20 mins by boat, Spinalonga is walkable but definitely not for wheelchairs. Lunch & free time at Elounda - set menu - 5 dishes to share for starters, then moussaka or veggie option of stuffed tomatoes and potato (which we had) all very tasty. Then on to agio nikolias another beautiful harbour town for shopping and relaxing with a quick ice cream. Fabulous day

Guide was outstanding, very informative about the history of Spinalonga. Lunch for Gluten free diet not so great, It seems if you are gluten free (coeliac) you are grouped with being vegan and vegetarian! Surroundings for lunch were amazing though.

Spinaloga z przeplynieciem promem super. Lunch tez ok. Natomiast czas, który byl przeznaczony na plazowanie w Elounda (1 godz) , to stracony czas. Plaza brudna, przy ulicy i parkingu autokarów warczacych i smierdzi spalinami, do tego za 2 lezaki i parasol trzeba zaplcic 10EUR bez wzgledu na czas spedzony na plazy. Nie potrzebnie targalam torbe z rzeczami do plazowania. Zabraklo natomiast tej godz. w Agios Nikolaos. Piekne miejsce, ale niecale 2 godz. to za malo zeby obejsc misteczko i wpic kawe.

Good transport arrangements with a chance to see the countryside of Crete. Easy boat trip from Elounda and disembarkation at Spinalonga. Our guide was most informative and we loved the obvious history of the island that was explained so clearly. Lunch was enjoyable and the break in Agios Nicolaos on the way back enjoyable.

Our guide Maria was excellent and we enjoyed our guided tour of Spinalonga. However, as we were the first guests to be picked up and the last to be dropped off, we were a long time on the coach. We got on at 7.24am but the last guests weren’t picked up until around 9.15am. Also the included lunch was ok but the dessert was tiny; not sure what it was and it didn’t taste very nice and therefore lots of people left their dessert. We only had an hour in Agios Nikolas and it wasn’t long enough.

Our guide Polly was EXCELLENT, and the day was a highlight of our holiday. The restaurant part felt a bit rushed, the food was good but the dessert seemed unpopular all round and a glass of wine would have been a nice inclusion.

Booking was very easy through our rep at the Domes Aulus Elonda Hotel, who explained everything about the trip and confirmed all the details at the time. The 20 minute or so boat ride was very pleasant , as we're the crew of the boat. Our guide Maria was excellant throughout, although distracted by another complaining customer throughout the tour. The meal at lunchtime was lovely. Overall although looking expensive, the day was well worth the £98 as the island is a must for anyone. Recommend

Great tour guide Maria who was very knowledgable. Unfortunately some grumpy old man decided to air his grievances in front of the whole tour. Everyone heard this due to the earpieces. It was not the appropriate time to do this and wasted valuable time for everyone on the tour. We felt so sorry for Maria and she kept trying to tell him to take it up with TUI. The tour was great, amazing history and architecture. A bit more time on Spinalonga would have been good too. Lunch was nice.

hallo, grundsätzlich war der Ausflug okay. Die Erklärungen über Headsets fand ich gut. Leider war zu wenig Zeit in den zwei verschiedenen Städten. Das Mittagessen war mässig gut. Der Guide hat Wissen vermittelt aber sich dabei öfter wiederholt und ich empfand eine gewisse Lustlosigkeit .

Dat we op de vraag “ waar voor je geld” een 6 hebben gegeven komt enkel en alleen doordat de lunch echt heel slecht was! En nou zijn we echt geen zeurders over eten maar dit was echt slecht! Kraanwater met ijsblokjes in kannen op tafel!! Een visfilet die vol met grote dikke graten zat ( een klein graadje hier en daar is aanvaardbaar , maar dit was in 1 hap 5 dikke graten). Een aardappel, smakeloos en rijst smakeloos. De kip was gaar maar niet lekker aangebraden en droog. Ijs waterig. Sla goed

Für meinen Geschmack zu viel Geschichte und Mytologie , daher auf Dauer ziemlich anstrengend den Ausführungen zu folgen, oder überhaupt aufzunehmen Das Essen würd ich mittelmäßig bewerten. Sowohl die Fahrt mit Bus und Fähre und Organisationsablauf waren gut. Etwas mehr Zeit zum eigenen erkunden der Insel Spinalonga wäre wünschenswert gewesen

The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. I found the history of Spinalonga to be interesting and informative. I didn't reckon much to the lunch afterwards, wish we'd had a choice. Think it was moussaka for the main which i thought was tasteless to be honest. We visited the pretty village of Aghios Nikolaos afterwards where we had about an hour and 15 mins free time. My partner and i had a drink in a cafe and bought a few items from one of the shops. All in all it was a good day out.

Die Führung auf Spinalonga war sehr interessant und empfehlenswert. Das Mittagessen in der Taverne war sehr zu empfehlen, aber wir hatten zu wenig Zeit in Elounda und vor allem auch in Agios Nikolaos, um die Atmosphäre der jeweiligen Orte kennen zu lernen.

The boat crew and guide were fine. The Island itself was ok. The travelling took too long as widespread hotels were included in the run. The stops at seaside villages were just there to encourage shopping and were of no interest to me. The reminder email from TUI stated that I should bring swimming gear, but there was no opportunity on the trip to use it, so carrying it all day was a waste of effort. The food at the lunch stop was good.

The guide (Maria) was excellent. The transfers were all good. Lunch was OK but could have included some table wine. It was very expensive for us as our hotel was very close we could have done this trip for a fraction of the price and not spent time in places that we’d already been to. I feel that our rep might have said as much but I guess then we wouldn’t have bought the trip and she wouldn’t have made any commission. €186 should have cost us about €80 due to the above.

De trip was leuk, het vervoer en de reisleider Maria was top. Maar de TUI reisgids had ons verkeerd geinformeerd waardoor wij als klant de dupe werden in kosten, en dan praat ik niet over een klein bedrag. Hier kwamen we ook pas achter tijdens onze trip via onze reisleider, ook zij was er niet te spreken over. Naar mijn mening mocht de reisgids haarzelf beter informeren ipv zomaar dingen hardop te roepen. Wij als gezin vonden dit een grote minpunt en had wel een groot deel van de dag verpest

Beau port avant de prendre le ferry jusqu’à l’île. La guide Maria nous a bien expliqué, tout ce qu’il fallait savoir sur cette île, ensuite on a repris le ferry pour aller manger sur le port et on a eu 1h de temps libre par après qui pour moi est un peu court pour soit faire les magasins ou se reposer sur la plage.

Took over 2 hrs to get there due to waiting for others, we were told it would be less than a hour. This gave us limited time on the island after the tour, less than 20 mins! The rep said we could be inundated with food, we had a salad and Moussaka which was awful and a disgusting small dessert. We were very disappointed overall and would not recommend this trip.

Interesting visit to the fortress followed by a nice lunch after which you could stay by the harbour and feed the fishes over a beer or two! Thought the visit to Agios Nikolaos was about the right amount of time to sit and view the lake! Travel time though was too long especially for the first 2or 3 pickups ( nearly 3hours there on the coach bit quicker coming back!).

The TUI rep, Claire, at the resort gave us all we needed to know and she was spot on. She described the tour as a way to get an understanding of the whole island in terms of culture, history, geography and spirit. We got this in spades. Every aspect of the tour was tremendous. The commentary was captivating, the boat journey beautiful, the history detailed, the food delightful and the pauses in towns for shopping and sculpture viewing, excellent.

Fraue Elena hat uns schon auf der Fahrt nach Spiralonga sehr viel interessantes über die Gegend, ihre Besonderheiten,Menschen in einer besonders verständlichen und auch humorvollen Weise erzählt. Auch die Geschichte des Landes wurde ausführlich erklärt. Die Führung auf Spiralonga EINZIGARTIG!!! Mittagessen und der spätere Nachmittag alles Bestens organisiert. We were told this was unsuitable for kids (5 year old) by fellow travellers the night before we were due to go, so we decided against going despite paying in advance as we didn’t want to be stressed by having a stressed child. We met others who went on the trip who told us that we made the right decision as it was a long day walking and wouldn’t have been suitable for our 5 year old daughter. I wish we had been told this as we wasted a lot of money!

It was amazing. I had read the book about the leper colony quite a few years ago and always wanted to visit to see the island and the history of it all. Fantastic. Lunch was the perfect spot looking out to sea in Elounda and Agios Nickolos was great with lovely little shops to browse.

Es war alles perfekt organisiert von der Abholung bis zur Rückfahrt. Die Reiseleiterin hat den ganzen Ausflug sehr interessant gestaltet und man hat wirklich viel über die Insel und die Geschichte erfahren. Man hatte immer genügend Zeit um Bilder zu machen, Fragen zu stellen oder auch einfach alles selbst zu erkundigen. I definitely didn't like the time wasted (2hr hours) picking people up from various hotels. Would have preferred to go straight to the port thus giving us more time overall. There were lots of people going from our hotel so was should have done one drop. Tour of island was super interesting but could be shortened and give more time in last town as only had an hour. Lunch spot was lovely, right on water. Tour guide excellent. Lovely day.

We had an early morning pick up of 7:22am from outside our hotel. We were told breakfast would be open for us but might be limited choice. We found there wasn't anything available. I removed the clingfilm off the granola and thought would just have a bowl of cereal. I asked a man behind the counter for some milk. He told me in a nice way that they weren't yet open. He did however go and get me some milk. Some breakfast provisions could easily have been provided for such trips early starting.

The guided tour of Spingalonga was amazing with our guide Maria well worth the money. Our lunch was tasty and the service good. It would have been good to have more time in Ag Nich as the day only allowed 1 hour which was not enough time to explore. We ended up staying on and then getting a taxi back to our hotel, which was obviously extra cost.

Keine Auswahl beim Mittagessen - picky eater haben pech. In allen Städten nur ca max 1 Stunde Zeit. Kann man nicht viel machen/anschauen bevor man wieder zurück muss. Zeer goede rondleiding op Spinalonga door de gids. Lunch was standaard toeristenmenu, veel maar niet fijn. De rest van de trip was verborgen shopping trip. Anderhalf uur in Elounda, 2 uur in Aigios Nicolaeos. Voor het laatste gedeelte hebben we bedankt en zijn op eigen kosten naar ons verblijf teruggekeerd.

Guided tour with Maria was excellent, Maria is so patient and informative. Free time in Elounda and Ag Nik. Lunch in Elounda was delicious, the Moussaka was a little too big for us, we could easily have shared one.

Coach arrived on time with more pickups to do, quite a long journey but interesting to see more of Crete. Ferry journey good, with room, toilets and reasonably priced snacks. Spinalonga, beautiful, interesting island was very busy, a lot of groups made photography difficult. Guide Christina excellent.Lunch in Elounda was delicious, I don’t know how they served it too so many, so efficiently!Time in Agios Nikolaos(2hours) was enough for us after a long hot day, walk round shops,lake and icecream!

Our trip was very good. We booked it via the app & everything was confirmed straight away We were collect just up the road from our hotel & was met by Emily - our guide. We had a few more stops before reaching Elounda. The boat across to the Island was short and very nice. Emily’s knowledge of the island was great - although we did have to have the volume to high as she spoke very quietly which we thoroughly enjoyed. The meal was fine. As expected we had wine which we paid for (2 glasses €6)

Mixing the guided tour with the same people who had not paid for the Island tour meant the guide had to spend time sorting out the tickets. Better if everyone paid for the Island, as they did themselves at the booth, and make the lunch optional.

Island tour was great, lunch we were packed like sardines, food was ok but far too many people in a small space. Also drop off for an hour in St Nicholas was not good, it would have been nicer to stay in Elounda for that hour.

Pas suffisamment de temps libre pour visiter l'île (30') Ainsi qu'en fin de journée à saint Nicolas (50') pour soit faire du shopping soit se baigner. Nous étions stationné sur le port et il fallait déjà 10' pour rejoindre le centre ville , et 10' pour le retour

Es wäre besser, wenn man den Besuch incl. Mittagessen nach der Besichtigung von Spinalonga nur auf Agio Nikolaos beschränken würde. Dann könnte man wenigstens eine Stadt besser kennenlernen und wäre nicht ständig so unter Zeitdruck. Elounda muss man nicht unbedingt gesehen haben.

Très belle visite sur l’Ile de Spinalonga (malgré la présence d’un grand nombre de groupes) et un déjeuner très correct à Elounda. Nous aurions néanmoins préféré passer plus de temps à ces 2 endroits plutôt qu’à Aghios Nikolaos qui n’a qu’un intérêt pour le shopping et qui est aussi sur fréquenté.

The tour of Spinalonga was 10 absolutely brilliant guide however the rep did not offer us the No Frills tour without the lunch which we would have chosen. Lunch certainly wasn’t worth the difference charged. Without lunch this tour would score 10

This was an informative trip, learning lots about Spinalonga and its history. It was a long day and I’m not sure if the Agios Nikolaos stop given it was only for an hour was really needed, maybe more time in Elounda would have made lunch less rushed? The lunch itself was tasty, you just pay for drinks (if you want more than water). Again we had good weather, breezy but clear! Our guide Poppy was exceptional.

2 hour coach trip to boat set wrong tone for the day. If we had known it would take that long with all hotel pick up we would not have gone in first place. Boat was lovely short journey. No time to explore Spinalonga without the guide, so unable to read informations that are there. Lunch was a military operation, although was great with dietary needs. We had some free time around Elounda where we had lunch, however, again not a lot because we had to travel to St.nicholas. One longer stop better

Wir hätten uns mehr Zeit zur freien Verfügung gewünscht. Die Führung auf Spinalonga war zwar sehr interessant, aber für unseren Geschmack viel zu lang. Eigenes Erkunden war quadi nocht möglich. Die Zeit nach dem Mittagessen in Elounda, die zur freien Verfügung und zum Baden angepriesen wurde, war viel zu kurz. Selbiges in Ag.Nikolaos. Uns hätte es besser gefallen, ohne Mittagessen direkt nach Ag.Nikolaos zu fahren und dort dann 3Stunden Zeit zu haben. So hat man beide Orte nicht wirklich gesehen

Der reisebus war sehr pünktlich am Hotel. Unsere Reiseleiterin Elena hat sehr gut die Geschichte der Insel erklärt. Die Organisation insgesamt war super. Die Tour war sehr interessant.

Our guide...I believe her name was Maria, i think!?, was amazing!!!. She was passionate, knowledgeable, friendly, funny and kind. We could not have asked for more......she deserves acknowledgement as she was fantastic and made our day. The tour itself was brilliant and so interesting. To learn about the struggles of those brought there was unfathomable and I would never have known prior to visiting Crete. A Beautiful Island. The last stop on the trip for 1 hour was unnecessary in one hour you can do very little and you are tired by now. It would be better to have come back to hotels and charge slightly less All you are doing is clock watching to get back to bus

Het eiland indrukwekkend om te zien, het verhaal er achter en de locatie zelf. Lunch typische Griekse gerechten, daar moet je van houden. Onvriendelijke bediening, drank moet betaald worden en dat kwamen ze al afrekenen terwijl we nog aan het toetje zaten. Hadden het gevoel dat ze ons snel weg wilde hebben. Na wat eigen tijd in omgeving lunch locatie wordt je met de bus naar centrum Agios Nikolaos gebracht waar je een uurtje vrij moest vertoeven. Toen werd iedereen weer bij de hotels afgezet.

Bezoek op het eiland met zeer goede gids. Lunch in Elounda restaurant met moussakka niet goed. De tafels in het restaurant waren geschikt op een ponton dat steeds bewoog .Wij mochten niet op een andere plaats gaan zitten. Bezoek van 1 u 30 in Agios Nikolaos was onvoldoende om iets te gaan bezoeken. Het was het geld echt niet waard. Ook andere deelnemers waren van deze mening.

La visite guidée et les commentaires de la guide c'était parfait. Elle a su rendre sa visite très intéressante et vivante. Le repas de midi top, très bon, copieux et accueil parfait. Ce que nous avons moins aimé c'est le temps libre de l'après-midi à Ageos Nicolaos, nous aurions préféré une visite guidée, avec par exemple une ou l'autre eglise orthodoxe ou encore un tour de la ville en mini train.

Leuk is de sfeer, vakantie, iets doen. Er even tussenuit. Minder was dat we per saldo heen en terug al vijf uur moesten bussen en een deel nog in een georganiseerde taxi zaten. De buschauffeur beheerste de bus volledig, maar meende het alleenrecht te hebben op de weg. Dicht op medeweggebruikers die niet zo snel durfden, inhalen over de dubbel doorgetrokken streep. Spinalonga was leuk. Gids fijn. Vertelde veel. Lunch was marginaal. Echt afgeraffeld. Drinken apart afrekenen. Bediening chagrijnig.

Wyspa i przewodnik rewelacja. Ale wizyty w 2 nadmorskich miejscowosciach to naduzycie. Zostalismy sami na 1h 15 min na zakupy albo kawe. Na plazowanie o którym byla mowa przy opisie nie bylo szansy. Der Tagesausflug war rundum perfekt organisiert. Unser Guide Eleni und unser Busfahrer Yannis waren ein Dreamteam. Besonders aber möchte ich Eleni loben: Sie machte mit ihren Erläuterungen, Sagen& Geschichten, Fakten und dem Erklären von Zusammenhängen den Ausflug zu einem gelungenen Erlebnis, das interessant, kurzweilig und sicher war. So achtete sie darauf, dass wir im Schatten waren, die Gruppe zusammenblieb und wir Treffpunkte leicht fanden. Dankeschön!!!

The island tour was awesome and the guide was fantastic. The thing that lets this excursion down was the food. I know that I am not an expert in Greek food but I thought there should be some meat in moussaka the one we experienced had none. Very disappointing. Also having something different for children would have been better. I do not think this food was very good at all, and wouldn’t recommend this part of this trip to anyone. Island great, tour guide great, food terrible.

Maria la guide était au top, rien à dire sur sa prestation. Le repas par contre n'était pas terrible, une boisson et un café compris auraient été plus agréable. Et le fait de devoir faire 2h de route pour s'arrêter à plusieurs hôtels récupérer des personnes n'est pas agréable du tout surtout quand on ne nous prévient pas. Il faut ensuite se dépêcher pour tout cela rend les choses moi s agréables.

Het was een leuke dag, het begint wel vroeg. Maar achteraf merk je wel dat het heel veel voordelen heeft. Je bent met veel minder mensen op het eiland. Waardoor je betere foto’s kan maken en langer bij plekken stil kan staan. En de begeleiden was super, wat de dag nog leuker maakte

Lovely tour guide, coach nice and clean, boat great, lunch so delicious! Wish we had more free time in Elounda as we wanted to go for a swim and have a look around but no time to do both. We were the first pick up/last pick up, so journey was very long for us and had to swap bus.

Le positif monument très intéressant, les explications du guide parfait Le négatif Le temps libre sur l'île vraiment vraiment très très court 30mlnutes. On a pas le temps de repartir pour faire des photos et de monter à la citadelle resultat on a que la moitié de la visite. We waited 40 minutes on the roadside to be picked up from the hotel. A taxi arrived. We were expecting a bus. Would have been good to know in advance. Taxi could have come up the hill to the hotel where we could have waited out of the sun in comfort! The island tour was superb which more than made up for the pick up issues. Lunch was ok. Would have preferred a table for two. Had to pay extra for a Sprite - really? Having paid £80 for the trip. Not much in Elounda. Beach disappointing so we left!

The tour was amazing, Maria was very knowledgeable and informative. The only disappoing not for me was I felt the tone at Agios Nikolas was too short, we only had an hour there which by the time you walked into the town and had to make your way back left very little tube to explore and have a swim.

The tour guide was informative and very enthusiastic about her country's heritage. Spinalonga was worth the visit, but with being a full coach load of people, we were a very large group. Some of the walkways could only take two people wide, which meant that those towards the back of the group could not hear as their ear pieces were out of range. The food was pleasant, but for the price, drinks other than water, should have been included. Overall a good trip with plenty to see.

The boat, like many, did not give out safety announcements. I believe this is a worldwide stipulation by the MCA. The second stop could be cancelled to give people more time in the lunch area rather than two shorter stops.

Die Reiseleiterin war einfach Klasse. Sehr angenehm erzählt und absolut kompetentes wissen. Selbst die Ausführungen während der Busfahrt waren so interessant, das die Zeit wie im Flug verging. Nous avons adoré Maria la guide en français qui nous a accompagné et nous a comté merveilleusement bien l'histoire de cette île "des oubliés" Nous avons très bien profité de cette journée aussi par la pause pour le point de vue sur St Nicolas et halte dans la ville au retour. Le transfert avec Yannis = ********** maîtrise du bus. Un vrai plus de laisser nos sacs dans le bateau pour la visite de l'île. Repas satisfaisant Très dessus de la plage qui nous a été vendue comme une plage de rêve....

Die Reiseleitung hat sich ständig wiederholt und das war nach eine Zeit extrem mühsam… dazu noch wussten wir nicht das in einigen Städten auch Halt gemacht wird, wie würden auch nicht drauf hingewiesen, dass die Busfahrt beinahe 3 Stunden gedauert hat. Viel Busfahren für wenig Besichtigungszeit.

Visite parfaite guide Maria au top À déplorer le reste… repas plus que moyen dans un restaurant quelconque pas ou peu de choix dans une salle à l’arrière du restaurant Élouna sans intérêt et après midi à st Nicolai très décevant Prix élevé malgré un service et une ponctualité irréprochable ! Expérience très instructive. La beauté du lieu, l'histoirede cette île. Les explications de notre guide ( Maria) qui aime transmettre. Mais j'ai en reproche l'état grec veut transformer cette île en usine à frics en faisant restaurants et autres commerces. C'est une honte de dénaturer ce magnifique endroit. Et le prix de cette visite qui est passé de 8€ l'année dernière à 20€ aujourd'hui. Dommage de détruire une partie d'histoire de la Grèce.

Dure excursie. Worden afgehaald met een taxi om ergens aan een benzinestation gedropt te worden in afwachting van de komst van een bus. Idem bij terugreis. Goede gids op eiland maar na het bezoek worden we aan ons lot overgelaten. Eerst anderhalf uur in elounda rondslenteren om vervolgens hetzelfde tegen te komen in agios Nicolaos. One recommendation would be to shorten the time In the village at spinalonga as the beaches were full and to swim and dry off before you get back on the bus is too short. If this was changed to give longer at St Nicholas there is more to do and see and then it would feel less rushed

Die Tour war sehr interessant. Die Bootsfahrt war sehr schön und Spinalonga ist sehr interessant, hatten leider nur 25 Min zum selbst erkunden. Das Mittagessen in der TUI organisierten Taverne war furchtbar. Die Kellner teilweise unfreundlich und das Essen ungenießbar. Vorspeise, Hauptspeise und Nachtisch echt schrecklich. Unsere Tour Guide Eleni war super. Alles in allem war der Ausflug gut, aber man sollte ohne Essen buchen können und lieber selbst essen gehen

Het restaurant vonden wij wat minder. We vonden het niet aangenaam da ze ons aan de lange tafel zegden welke plek we moesten innemen en zo rechtover vreemden zaten en ons eigen gezin naast elkaar. Het maakte dat we ons wat ongemakkelijk voelden telkens we opkeken. Wat we ook ongemakkelijk vonden was dat de bediening heel de tijd zat te kijken terwijl we aten. Oke dat ze willen zien of alles in orde was, maar bij elke hap werden we bekeken.

Bobbi our tour guide was BRILLIANT. She told us all about the area we were travelling thro to get to Elounda. She pointed out the wildlife- vultures and mountain goats as we travelled through the mountains. She told us about the history of the area and how the land is used now. She knew her stuff about Spinalonga- it was wonderful to listen to hear speak about the ancient history of the island and also the modern leper colony history. We learnt so much!

Nous étions avec 2 guides, l'une francophone, l'autre néerlandophone. La visite de Spinalonga était très détaillée par nos guides (il n'y a pas de visite guidée organisée sur l'île pour les particuliers ni les groupes), ainsi que sur le trajet en bus. Le repas à Elounda n'était pas fameux, le temps libre à Elounda n'était pas très utile, rien à voir à part des boutiques de souvenirs. Le temps libre de 2h à Ageos Nikolaos était bien pour visiter le lac, les 2 monuments et manger un sorbet.

Nous avons aimé : les explications passionnantes (et passionnées) du guide Yannis, l’atmosphère si particulière de l’île de Spinalonga, et la beauté des paysages. Petite déception : impossible de se baigner par manque de temps. Nous avons un peu moins aimé : la partie « villages balnéaires », assez longue pour finalement assez peu de choses à voir (Elounda, Agios Nikolaos). Mais très belle expérience malgré tout grâce à notre guide Yannis.

This was a very long day and although we enjoyed it we did think that maybe one of the visits to Elounda or aghios Nicholas should be dropped as there wasn’t enough time in either to chill and rest. On spinalonga we were guided right around the island with the suggestion to go back at the end to see the places seen in more depth but it was so hot that everyone just made a beeline for the cafe. That’s our fault for coming to Crete in July ??

Le trajet trop long du au arrêt, 3h de bus pour arrivé, On nous a vendu un repas grec qui n'était vraiment pas de qualité et je trouve pas très grec une salade et des pâtes bolo pour ceux qui m'aime pas le poisson . La visite de l'île est vraiment bien et un guide de qualité.

The trip felt a little rushed and the 3 course meal was really 2 course and a tiny sweet for dessert, so a little misleading. Positives, Spinalonga was very interesting and the guide was excellent. Agios Nikolas and Elounda were lovely.

The guide was fabulous, very informative. The time on Spinalonga Island was too long. Maybe 90 minutes would be better. The two town trips were nice but the lunch was certainly not worth the money. We really wouldn’t have booked the trip if our hotel rep had been more knowledgeable about the day. He said the bus would take 45 minutes to the boat… it took 2 hours. He didn’t tell us about the no frills option either which we were annoyed about.

The tour guide Maria I think her name was. Was absolutely fantastic. Very informative. The only down fall of the day was that we didn’t get much free time at spinalonga. And the lunch wasnt very nice at all to the point no one ate it. So I’d probably recommend maybe the half day and get your own food there as we had 2 hours roughly at Elounda. So plenty of time to get some fresh Greek food. But a good day out just very long 7:30am -5pm.

Der Ablauf der Tour war eine Katastrophe ! Wir haben 5,5 Std. !!! verbracht Gäste von Hotels abzuholen und zurückzubringen. Der große Bus quälte sich durch die engen Strassen von Hotel zu Hotel was enorme Zeit erforderte. Die Reiseleiterin (Pila) war perfekt. Hoch kompetend vermittelt sie uns Informationen und Geschichten.

Die Tour hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Unsere Reiseleiterin Pella hat uns ausgesprochen informativ, mit sehr vielen interessanten Dingen, durch den Tag begleitet! Einzig den Aufenthalt in Elounda, wo wir in einem sehr netten Lokal ein gutes Mittagessen bekamen, würde ich abkürzen und diese Zeit dafür länger in Agios Nikolaos bleiben! Ganz toll war auch, dass wir das 1.Schiff auf Spinalonga waren- danach kamen die Massen. Die Tour ist empfehlenswert!

Eine lange Anfahrt - knapp 2 Stunden ab Hotel und eben dieses wieder zurück, da viele vereinzelte Gäste ab Hotel aufgenommenwurden. Es mussten viele enge und kurvige Straßen vom Bus befahren werden, was immer wieder zu Schwierigkeiten führte. Die Getränke beim Mittagessen waren teuer (Saftschorle so teuer wie Saft, speziell halber Liter 6 €) und nicht gut (Sprudel fehlte beispielsweise bei einer Spezi vollkommen). Der Service glich einer Massenabfertigung.

Sehr gut hat uns die Art der Reiseleiterin gefallen. Sie war in ihrer zurückhaltenden Art der gute Geist im Hintergrund mit viel Hintergrundwissen. Mehr eigene Zeit auf der Insel wäre wünschenswert. Dafür könnte die Einkaufs-/Badezeit gekürzt werden. Was leider überhaupt nicht passte war das Mittagessen. Die Moussaka war so matschig und geschmacklos, das ging gar nicht. Die Anzahl der voll zurückgegebenen Teller sollte dem Restaurant hoffentlich aufgefallen sein.

Het restaurant was niet in orde. Iedereen kreeg hetzelfde om te eten. Geen keuze uit bv 2 gerechten.sommige mensen aten geen moussaka.. Ikzelf ben lactose-intolerant . Dit was niet doorgegeven van tui uit. Ik heb uiteindelijk enkel een stuk gebakken kipfilet gekregen en daarmee moest ik het doet voor de ganse dag . Dit is niet oké ! Ook moesten we onze drank nog zelf betalen tijdens de lunch, terwijl de lunch was begrepen. De reisbegeleidster gaf goed uitleg tijdens de toer.

Eine tolle Tour mit einer lieben und rücksichtsvollem Guide. Auch der Busfahrer ist sehr gut gefahren und war nett. Es wurde immer wieder wiederholt, wo treffpunkte sind, welche Uhrzeiten eingehalten werden sollen und auf welche Busnummer geachtet werden soll. Das war sehr hilfreich. Auch die Führung auf Spinalonga war entspannt und lehrreich. Es wurde sich Zeit gelassen und Fragen wurden beantwortet. Einzig der volle Bus am Anfang war nicht so schön. Ich musste getrennt von meinem Kind sitzen.

We were not aware how long we would be on the coach picking up and that we had a taxi ride first. Over 2 hrs before reaching island and same back with another taxi ride at end. 5 hrs travel was not acceptable and we would not have gone on the experience, no offer of water during that journey, very early pick up 6.40 so no breakfast available at hotel. Up at 5.15am back 6pm very very long day. You should advise guests and provide water in this heat.

Die Tour war wirklich sehr schön, da TUI dafür sorgt, dass man die erste Fähre des Tages bekommt um den Touristen Andrang zu umgehen. Das Mittag Essen haben wir nicht in Anspruch genommen, da es nur eine Speise für alle gibt (Moussaka) und eine vegetarische Speise. Wir sind dafür selber am Hafen essen gegangen und das empfehlen wir auch jeden. Die anschließende Stadttour war schön jedoch etwas kurz.

L’endroit en soit est vraiment magnifique, le restaurant aussi, je ne regrette pas. Par contre la guide je suis très déçu car pour moi elle m’a fait louper la visite de l’île de Spinalonga. Nous faire asseoir très longtemps pour nous expliquer beaucoup de chose et surtout les lépreux ( 95% des expliquaient a été sur les lépreux, je comprend que c’est une chose importante mais je ne pense pas qu’il y avait que ça à dire). Ensuite d’être trop assis on a rien vu, juste fait le tour de l’île et bye.

La guide était très bien, la découverte de l'île nous a appris beaucoup de choses. Le restaurant par contre nous moins plu car pomme de terre pas cuite, poisson trop sec et cheveux dans la sauce... il n'empêche qu'une majorité du groupe a apprécié le déjeuner. Leuke dag gehad. Spinalonga is een erg leuk en interessant eiland, trek wel goede schoenen aan. We zijn nog naar twee andere plaatsjes geweest, Elounda (hier hebben we ook een heerlijke lunch gehad) en Agios Nikolaos. In beide steden hebben we voldoende tijd gehad om rond te lopen.
