Went along not knowing what to expect. The cathedral was the perfect setting and the light show very impressive.
The choir were fabulous with amazing voices and Christopher Ecclestons narration fascinating enhanced by his northern voice.

The experience was fantastic , just standing on a cold concrete floor for 1hr was uncomfortable. Also people clapping after each song , encroached on the beginning of each section of narration .

cust service the most unhelpful ever & would never book an event through this comp online website crashed prior to payment . On receipt of 5 tickets realised date had changed to 31st Jan instead of 17th Jan. Contacted within 2 mins but wouldn’t allow change.family travelled long way & couldn’t use

Thought the lighting was amazing, the voiceover very good (would like to know who wrote it)
and the singing was good but for me personally the music was too loud. Occasionally had to cover my ears! Otherwise thoroughly enjoyed it

The show was a great all round experience. Singers were excellent and the commentary was really special for someone born and raised in Manchester. The light show built nicely to help people acclimatise, which I found particularly good. The section with bees was extra special. Lights fitted contours.

Our first ever visit to the cathedral, the light show was superb. The narration synchronised brilliantly with the music.
The choir walked through the audience in what I thought looked like a scene from the Traitor’s.
We had a fantastic time, some of which the music made it quite emotional

Absolutely loved this experience - I didn't know what to expect when I first booked but was blown away by it all! The projections were amazing and the talent of the choir was unmatched! Also learning more about Manchester cathedral's history was a welcome addition! 100% recommend.

This was a brilliant event, a magical lighting event illuminating a beautiful building, it was enhanced by the narrative on Manchester’s history and the chorale singers. There was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the experience easily. Highly recommend the event.

A spectacular performance of light, choir and narration in Manchester cathedral. Highly recommend it.
The only minor thing I would note was that it was standing only and this wasn’t made clear on booking.
