Tour was rather expensive. The coach provided for the tour was more like a minibus and so was very tight on space and cramped inside. Bear in mind you are on it for nearly 4 hoirs in total

Enjoyed the day on the whole apart from the weather which cannot be helped. Wandering around towns in the pouring rain marred what should have been a lovely day but who wants to trek round slippery cobbled streets, some on a slope, in driving rain. The boat trip was surprisingly calm and a good experience. Again if it had been a dry day it would have been much more enjoyable. We ended up diving into cafes to eat and drink to escape the weather

The tour is great value for money well worth doing if you have never been to these cities before, only slight negative was that the tour guide was a little monotonic making her narrative very boring, unlike the previous days guide who was so full of enthusiasm it was a pleasure to listen to. Sorry

The trip was spoilt by 1couple being 1/2 hr late. The waiting for this 1couple meant we sat on the coach for 1/2 hr before we left to pick the people waiting at other stops. This lead to less time spent at each destination and hurried because we had to be in time for the boat trip. I feel that we should have left on time. rather than spoiling the trip for 30+ TUI clients. The coach driver was very good and the Guide was very informative, she had to apologise each time that we didn’t have long.

Tour guide was good but we were rushing to see anything where we stopped. If we want to have a look around and have a coffee it felt has if we had to hurry all the time. Would I recommend it no didn't have time to look around these places. Wouldn't recommend anyone do it in peak season it was over crowded when we went I would hate to see it at peak season.

The trip gave us an opportunity to see areas around the lake we would otherwise have missed. The Northern end has stunning mountain scenery. The timings were tight and there was a lot of time on the coach but the views at all times were amazing. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable but at times hard to hear and difficult to understand. Overall, my wife and I enjoyed what was a long day out.

The tour was held up due to an accident for 90 minutes meaning we missed a stop almost completely. There could have been an extension to our tour to allow us time to appreciate our second stop. We have had no response from TUI regarding this curtailed trip.

Pros - guide was very informative and enjoyed the commentary on the local area and history Cons - only spent approx 2hrs 20 mins in total at the 3 towns (1 hr in Sirmione, 20 mins in Limone if you exc the time it took to walk to the meet up point, and queue for the boat to Malcesine, then 1 hr in Malcesine). I understand that the tour can’t control traffic conditions, but if it’s that bad the tour shouldn’t even be offered. I would straight up tell people this tour is a waste of time and money

The bus journey took longer than anticipated due to traffic conditions and the over crowding around the resorts, due to the high season. This reduced our free time in the places of interest along the lake, although the trip itself was extremely informative and gave us a structure of where we wanted to re visit and spend some additional time. Our guide, Orlando and driver were excellent.

We spent more time on the coach than anywhere else which is not what it was advertised as. A day of holiday completely wasted and not enough time in any of the locations. We only had enough time to eat icecream as the queues for sandwiches were too long. If we had been told it was less than an hour per area we certainly would not have booked.

Enjoyed the opportunity to explore the lake. However the coach trip from Sirmione took three and a half hours which only gave us 50 minutes in Limone. If staying in the southern end the trip would be better concentrating on the northern end of lake especially in the peak season when the roads are very busy.

9 hour day with 5 hours spent on the coach. Wasn't made aware when booking about the time spent on the coach. Would not have booked it if I had known. Only spent an hour at two of the three places and one and half hours at the other place. Would be better off reducing the number of places visited down to two. 30 minute boat ride was ok.

This is not at all as advertised. I was told by a rep, you'll visit villages around the lake and learn everything there is to know about lake Garda. We actually experienced a full day spent sat on a coach, most of the time in silence, or listening to waffle not about lake Garda. The guide started the day by saying she was woken in the night and asked to cover the tour. The whole day she was tired, bored and uninterested. I feel like a day of our holiday was wasted. I need more space to summarise

As the TUI coach driver hit a bus (breaking the other buses’ mirror) we were an hr late to Limione & only had an hr there before catching the boat. The guide Adriana, struggled to understand the audience. She argued with one client although his family were back before the time she gave, but she didn’t leave enough time, as it was 5 minutes before departure. Also pointing out lemon groves, olive tree etc multiple times & generally repeating herself to a tired group was annoying, she never shut up

The tour visited 3 key locations; Sirmione, Limone and Malcesine. The guide presented interesting background / historical information as the bus progressed along the route which was nice, and even managed to give a little levity to a major thunderstorm that dampened the atmosphere for an hour or so. Delays on the road due to traffic volume and management meant that there was less time in both Limone and Malcesine than desirable and Malcesine was very much undersold, deserving much more credit.

This was a fantastic trip and I would strongly recommend at the beginning of your holiday to see the majority of Lake Garda in one go. Amazing guide on a different bus to the one scheduled who was both informative and funny. The only draw back was the poor communication by our TUI rep for the location of the pick up point. We were told to get the tour bus at the bus terminal. However, there are two bus terminals in Bardolino and we were told the wrong one. Another TUI Guide took us onboard.

Guide complained she was tired and hadn't had her breakfast should not have been shared with customers. Sirmione we did a boat trip and had a little time in town. On to Limone very beautiful town to explore. Guide didn't tell us castle names just showed meeting points/ times. Ferry to Mal Cesney with an hour to explore no time to do cable car as had to be back for coach. Dropped off past our pick up point in Bardolino driver said was a short cut to our hotel. Guide said I hope you know the way!

The trip was a great way to see other towns on the lake. The open boat trip to see Maria Callas’ former home and the Roman Villa was fun. The three towns were also beautiful. Although pleasant enough, our guide seemed a bit disorganised and also rambled on, rather than just sticking to the facts. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the trip and we are planning to return to Malcesine to experience the cable car ride.

We really enjoyed the optional boat trip around the castle in Sirmonie. It was a great place to visit, we wished we had longer here. Then we went to Limone which we found really interesting to see a whole town dedicated to lemons. We got a ferry ride to Macestain which we found really busy and hot. Finally we had free tine in Malcesine which we enjoyed sitting by the lake and bought out souvenirs. We really enjoyed this trip and found it a great way to see the lake in one day.

We were aware this was a 'taster' trip with a primarily coach tour and relatively short stops in the 3 towns. However, we were not expecting to be stuck in a tunnel for 45 minutes, greatly reducing the time at the main stop in Limone. For anyone claustrophobic, that would have been awful. We know from friends and the comments from the guide that this is a regular occurrence. there is therefore no excuse for tha absence of any associated warning. Late departure meant less than 8 hours.

It was about fifteen minutes in when we realised this was a coach tour around the lake and not a full day’s boat trip. The pre-trip booking meeting managed to confuse both of us into thinking otherwise. After that disappointment, the trip was actually very good. Some of the coach bits were quite long for a bus full of ageing prostrates without a loo on board and we didn’t have enough time in Malcensie to do very much. But we did enjoy it and learned a lot

It was good to see key places around Garda, the guides knowledge was informative. We enjoyed the extra boat trip around Sirmione, but that left little time to explore the peninsula. There was a short delay for the pick up and we had a 45 min delay in the tunnel on the way to Limone which reduced our time there. So only had time for lunch. More advanced info on the timings would help planning when to eat and what to do. Some lovely views and good orientation for further exploring.

The trip took in some lovely places. The 1st stop was in Sermione but we arrived there before the shops opened so unless you did the boat trip (€12) half of your time was wasted. This trip is very misleading, most people us included thought this was a boat trip around the lake. There is no mention in the description of it being a bus trip. We had very little time in Sirmione we only had about 10 mins after doing the extra boat trip. 1½ hours in limonie and 50 mins in malcesine. This was a total waste of time and money. The bus air con was non existent they were just blowers so was very warm. Very disappointed, wasted a day of our holiday.

I thought there were too many places visited and not enough time at each place to explore properly. The 2 hour coach journey between Sirmione and Limone was too long. It would probably have been better to just do Limone & Malcesine and do a separate trip to Sirmione.

Booked this trip as we wanted to visit Limone in particular. Early start but meant we got to Sirmione early before it got too busy. Would’ve liked a little longer there. Guide was good, gave us lots of interesting information without overloading us and was very clear on pick up points throughout the day. Overall it was a good way to spend time in 3 different places on the lake.

Easy to book and our expectations were clear from the reps briefing. The TUI guide was exceptional (think it was Julie). Her knowledge and engaging approach made the tour outstanding. Likewise the driver who went on a slight detour to increase our experience. Overall a memorable trip which we are still talking about. A great memory was made .

Karen our guide was very informative. Telling us about each place we visited. We had time to explore by ourselves in each place. Got to see all the lovely scenery as we travelled. A nice way to get a glimps of the pretty villages around the lake. Then you can always visit your favourite for a day.

Didn’t get much time in 2 of the 2 stop off locations. Simione especially was only 30 mins free time to grab a quick coffee then back to drop off point. Malnesnie was only 75 mins free time so no time to have a good stroll round the resort.

It wasn’t made clear that we would spend so much time travelling on the coach. When booking through the app it sounded more like a boat trip rather than coach. It seemed a waste of time starting off in the south at sirmione as we only had 1 hour there before boarding the coach for a further 2 hours travel to Limone. We had free time there before a 20 minute ferry ride to Malcesine, there we were given 1.15 mins before heading back on the coach.

The coach was clean and comfortable, the driver was very competent given the roads and the size of the coach. The guide was very good, informative but with a sense of humour. There's not much you can do to reduce the time spent on the coach apart from adding another stop but that would extend the overall time of the tour.

Everything was good but the bus was way too hot even with the Aircon on full blast. On another tour we were asked to close the curtains when leaving the coach so that the sun didn't heat the bus up whilst it was sitting in the heat. I think that would be a good idea.

Fantastic trip. The guide, a woman called Duke, was full of interesting information about the route, the areas we drove through, which made the trip so good. I learned so much about the area and the history. The only thing that could improve it would have been to have a few stops for photos in places like Salo, peschiera, gardone. Apart from that, it was excellent.

The trip sounds like a great opportunity to visit Sirmione, Limone & Malcesine & it is. However there is too much travel & not enough time in each town. In Sirmione we had an hour which by the time we had walked there & back from the coach park was much less. Our Rep was very friendly & informative but he misjudged the fitness of the Group leading us up a steep hill to show us the bus station in Malcesine. We then had to walk up again to meet for the return journey. He could have gone halfway.

The guide was fabulous, very knowledgeable. Very kind to my husband when he felt ill on the coach. We would have liked more time in Sirmione, although we took the boat trip and the owner of the boat was great fun. If we had taken this trip earlier in the week, we would then have returned to Sirmione ourselves. The Tui rep did explain that on a Monday the museums were so that was the reason we went on Friday. Overall, happy with the trip.

The guide did not wait for everyone to get off the ferry at Malcesine and had walked off leaving a group of 10 of us with no clue as to where the meeting place was or what time. Up until this point the tour had been a 10/10, but I had to phone the UK TUI helpline whilst in Malcesine for help. They were unable to contact the guide directly to tell him he had left us stranded, which really surprised us. The locations however were beautiful and we would recommend the tour overall.

Firstly I will say that the tour was very enjoyable until we got to Malcesnie. Upon leaving the ferry our guide was nowhere to be seen. There was a group of 12 (us included) that had no idea where to pick up the coach and at what time. One of the group tried speaking to TUI customer service while a couple of us searched for a coach station/Car park. This all took time leaving us no time to look around the town. When it was mentioned to the Guide later he was in complete denial.

I thought and so did others that this was solely a boat trip not mostly coach, I wouldn’t have booked if I’d have known however it was a good trip. Our hotel excursions actually states that this is predominantly a coach trip so I suggest that you put this in your write up for trip, it’s prob us not reading it properly and confused with the half day boat trip. The guide was great and entertaining

guide spoke little English. We were on the impression that we were going to be given some details about the villages we were going to and passing through but she never spoke until we were on our return after the driver seemed to tell her things. We were collected late then after we picked up in Bardolino we then returned to our pock up for late people. This happened twice, meaning we never got the time to see the scheduled stops. Would have been half price doing our own way and longer in towns.

Really enjoyable tour of the different areas around Lake Garda. Our guide Frederick was so knowledgeable, witty and such a nice guy who was very easy to listen to and who went above and beyond to make sure we all had the best time during our day. There is a lot of travelling involved on this full day excursion but well worth it as I don’t think we would have got to see as many places by doing it independently. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Lake Garda.

Our only criticism from a personal perspective we would have preferred a shorter amount of time spent at Limone (eg 1.5hr instead of 2hrs) so that we could have spent a bit more time at Malcesine which was a bit rushed as it was only 1hr & not really enough time to see it

No one warned us about the turbulence in the speedboat which is detrimental to people who have neck shoulder or back conditions. My wife who has spondylitis of the neck and spine and therefore found the boat experience painful. Clients should be forewarned prior to the trip so they can make their own decision as to whether to participate.

Tour guide Karen was polite, well mannered, very knowelagble and had a great sense of humour which made the tour better. Karen clearly explained what was happening throughout the day. I would highly recommend this tour as its a great starting point to the holiday to get a feel for where each village is around the lake. Enjoyed the ferry on the lake, and the beautiful scenery. Trip would benefit from some free time in Riva Del Garda (we had none) and a stop in Sirmeone (again, we had none). We also found it frustrating that we had to get a taxi from our hotel to the coach pickup point which was an unwelcome additional cost.

Karen was the perfect guide. Kept us informed throughout with the history, and interesting stories, from the places we visited or passed through. She also ensured we were all aware of when and where we had to5 meet when she let us loose to explore by ourselves. Due to traffic we were a bit short of time in Limone, but enough for a drink and something quick to eat. The optional boat trip round Sirmione was very worth while.

An interesting and enjoyable tour. However, once we got to Sirmione we were told the castle was shut on Monday's, it would have been helpful to be told this at the time of booking. Given this there was probably too much time spent here. This combined with the traffic (this is outside Tui's control but more allowance could be included) time in Limone was too short; everyone said they would have wanted more time. The was only time to get some lunch before having to board the ferry.

Good guide who pointed out all points of interest and gave historical and geographical information. Unfortunately traffic was heavy so a lot of time spent on coach in traffic jams. Really nobody’s fault. The boat trip was short and disappointing maybe misread the description of the excursion. The ferry from Limone to Malcesine was in poor condition belching out diesel fumes. Conversion of all ferries to electric should be an environmental aim in such a beautiful location.

It was a great way to visit the best towns around the lake. Remember to take your swim stuff. It doesn't say to bring it I brought them on off chance we might have time for a dip in the lake. I was so grateful to have done so we had a lovely swim in Limone.

Day too long. Only had 45 mins at Malcesine due to the traffic from Salò to Linone. Suggest 2 separate trips a tour of the north of the lake and one for the south - too much for 1 day and would have liked to have seen Riva. However what we did see what amazing and the guide very informative 10 out 10 for her.

Not enough time allowed at each of the stops. Ferry had no seats. TUI never made it clear that the pick up was from Gardaland Park and not our hotel. This was made even more difficult given that the trip started about 1 1/2hrs before the shuttle service started.

Tour guide Orlando and driver were great - knowledgable and safe Great way to see the area and work out the geography with some history thrown in Very very hot in our week here so the bus journey and boat trips helped keep out of the sun . I think if the weather had been cooler I would like more time to see the towns so be were of that if you take this tour not much time in towns to explore .

Sirmione was lovely and the boat trip was great. The information given by the driver/guide of the boat was really interesting. The tour guides use of the microphone in the coach wasn't very good, and I found it difficult to follow what she was saying at times. The ferry trip was also good.

Excellent tour guide, informative but fun. Great coach driver, all on time and felt safe. It was lovely to drive alongside the lake and see a number of the beautiful towns along the route. Although there was not a lot of time in each venue, I would recommend this tour early on in your holiday so if you wanted to you could return in your own time.

The length of time to explore Limone was just right. However, the ferry to Riva was around 20 minutes late, so we ended up rushing through the centre of Riva to catch the bus. We only had 1 hour to explore Malcesine which was not long enough to really see anything especially the castle.

Coach was blocked in road tunnel at Limone. After waiting long time had to return. No boat trip from Limone to Riva which was scheduled and paid for. Instead had to get boat from Limone to Maclean’s to pick up the coach there. Had to pay for this boat trip ourselves, which is wrong as cost of cancelled boat trip to Riva was included in original cost.

The only negative was an unavoidable delay in the tunnel outside Limione which meant we missed our connection to Riva however the driver and our guide did everything within their power to get us on our way and on another boat to Malcesine. Disappointed not to get to Riva but it couldn't be helped.

Nice to see the other part of the lake. However we did not see all that was planned due to being stuck in one of the tunnels on the coach as a lorry was coming the other way and we couldn't pass. Took over 45 mins to sort so we missed the ferry to riva. We missed out on that part of the trip despite paying for it. We were led to believe this happens all the time so why book the extra part of the trip if unlikely to go there. Many people were disappointed not going to riva .

We were kept waiting on coach for about 10 minutes whilst tour guide tried to ascertain if some clients were missing. Consequently time in Limone was shortened. The guide frogmarched us through the crowded town at a pace that was uncomfortable for most of the group. No information was given to us. We were given 35 minutes to find lunch, toilets and see Limone; clearly inadequate. Some had to cancel lunch order. In Riva, his manner with slower guests was rude and inconsiderate.

All in all it’s a good way to see many of the towns around the lake. There is not much time in each area, but the idea is to get a taste, then arrange to visit on your own. We travelled by bus from Bardolino to Sirmione, then on to Limone. We then took the ferry to Riva the bus onto Malcesine, then onto Bardolino. It’s a full day and a lot of travelling but our guide Orlando was great fun and very informative.

There was lots of time on the bus, but appreciate the geography of the area. We would have liked a little bit of extra time in some of the Towns/resorts we went through. The bus had very little air conditioning and due to the heat was very uncomfortable to the point of making you feeling ill we spent 2 hours on there between Sirmione and Limone. Other Tui trip at same time did not have this problem they were on a newer coach completely spoilt the experience for us. Not enough time in resorts guide insisted on taking you and showing you bus station in Malcesnie in heat instead of meeting you where the boat dropped us off unlike other TUi driver Not impressed.

Part of the trip was can cancelled due to a landslip which caused a delay so we weren't able to go to Riva to the north of the lake which was a shame. We still enjoyed the trip and it meant that we were a le to appreciate the diverse landscape and pretty villages that surround Lake Garda. At over £200 for a family of 4 it did feel expensive but so is everything these days! Our guide was excellent, informative, friendly and clear.

My pick up point from my hotel wasn’t very clear. I had to walk about a mile to be near to Gardaland to be collected, and was following a phone call from the tour company and tour guide. A pick up from outside of my hotel would have been better. The tour itself was enjoyable with spectacular scenery. The only negative points I had were when we had stops in Limone and Malcesine I didn’t know what was there, so I didn’t have anywhere specific to go to.

Great Day! We did this our 2nd day was a lovely introduction for us to Lake Garda! Beautiful scenery. Really enjoyed the extra boat trip cost a little extra but was good fun. Traffic did mean a shorter break (couldn’t be helped) which meant, as a coeliac, it was hard to find a quick lunch, plenty of options for others.

Not sure why a 15 year old counts as an adult and therefore full price?! If there was food and drink included then I can maybe understand, but this was just a coach and boat tour so I think its unfair to charge adult prices for a teenager. The tour itself was great. Yes its a long day on a coach but as it was our first time to Lake Garda it was a good way to see all that was in the area. Would recommend for other first timers. Top tip is to sit on the right of the coach for best views

We saw this as a good introduction to the Lake area. I had not anticipated the amount of time we would spend on the bus versus the actual time to visit. We left resort at 8am and returned at 6:30pm approx. Some of the stops we only had 30 mins , the most time we had was an hour, the rest of the time was on the bus or on the 30 minute ferry to Riva. We arrived at the first stop of Simone before most places had opened having opted out of the extra boat tour (10 euros) Everywhere was very busy.

A long but enjoyable day (over 9 hrs). Our guide Frederick was excellent, he was a mine of information! In Sirmione we were offered an optional boat trip at an additional cost of EUR10 each. We opted to do this but wished we hadn't as it meant we were only left with 20 minutes (including a 5 minute walk back to the coach and queuing for a toilet) to look around the town of Sirmione itself which was very disappointing. Felt rather unsafe on the boat as it was rather choppy and some felt ill!

We were picked up half an hour late, found out later that previous pickups had visited Sirmione which we missed out on but that meant that our visit to Limone was cut short. Guide Frederick asked if we’d mind being dropped off at a roundabout rather than our hotel. I said we didn’t but it turned out not to be the roundabout I thought it was near our hotel and we ended up lost, fortunately my daughter had Google maps on her phone which got us back..

We stayed in one of the bungalows on the Bella Italia eurocamp site on the shores of Lake Garda. It was very clean, there was good choice in the onsite shops. The communication through the app was very good regarding transfers and pick-up points. The reps on the ground John & Ella were excellent. The directions and organisation at Verona Airport were very good. The coach excurtion around Lake Garda booked with Tui was good value for money and well organised. Good expereince, lovely location.

I suppose if you took the Sirmione 1 hour visit out, as can easily be reached from Garda / south of lake by boat, there would have been more time to explore the northern part. Really would have liked more time in Limone and Riva.

It was good to see a wide range of places in a single day, though at times it felt a little rushed. But there's a lot to fit in. It gives a good flavour of a lot of places. The tour guide was excellent, she had a nice manor and explained a lot about where we were. So as a tour to get a view of a lot of places to visit at another time it's excellent, not so much if you wanted to spend more time in any of the stops.

The Original Lake Garda Tour with Boat Trip – Tour of the North Pick up from Garda was 0800. A small tip if you can to sit on right side of coach when seated (left side as walk up the coach) and a window without a frame obstruction. You'll get the most incredible views all day. This was a gem of a trip even if it was a whistle stop tour of the lake. Personally though I'd rethink the tour name as it leads you to think its mainly the north, but its not. The area is extremely beautiful and friendly. There is plenty to do around the lake. The hotel was really good, very central, well fitted out and with a wonderful pool. Reps give the impression they cut there teeth on the 18-30 scene.

guide on the tour (Frederick) was excellent. Very knowledgeable. Coach was air conditioned, clean and well driven. Organisation very good overall. Visited many of the towns around Lake Garda giving us a good overview of the area and indicating which towns we would like to visit on our own at a later time. Would definitely recommend.

Very good coach/boat trip around lake Garda , scenery was excellent and tour guide pointed out all the interesting points . It was a full day but well worth it . Trip is not advisable for people with limited mobility though and sitting on a coach for hours can be tiring . Boat trip was only about 20minutes and not compulsory , again it was worth doing as being on Garda is very enjoyable . Meals and other expenses are not included .Overall I would certainly recommend this "experience" .

Overall, everything went smoothly. However, on one of the two trips we booked, the guide took us directly past our hotel to drop someone else off first at the end of the tour. This added half an hour on to what was already a long day. Most of the guests on the coach were from our hotel, and they were not best pleased either.

The guide Orlando and driver were fantastic. The tour was way too rushed though with barely any time in each town. On the list of items to take, towels and swimming gear was on the list, but swimming was not on the agenda so we carried them for nothing. They need removing from the list. There was no traffic on our trip, so it wasn’t as if we were behind schedule.

Seeing lake garda by driving around the lake, but the first sto off point is pretty useless as you arrive when everything is closed, due to the time of day. This means that you spend an hour or so just wondering around. This was made worse for us as it was raining. The other drop off points were nice, but you were really pushed for time. On the positive side, the stop off points were you got the chance to note the places that you may want to go back to.

There was very little time at the places that are advertised for the trip which was the main reason for going, it was rushed, not really enough time to see the pretty towns & take in the sights or get something to eat, not the guides fault I might add. A little expensive for just a coach trip, as there is nothing else included. It’s very scenic & the only way to see the north of the lake as the ferries timings do not coincide.

It would be advantageous to know the cost of additional excursion activities prior to going on them, as card payment was not an option. As Sermione is easily accessible from South areas felt it would be better to concentrate on the North of the lake and spend more time at each location. Enjoyed the boat trip from Limone to Riva. Orlando, our guide, did well to keep it all together as we were a large group and had a half hour delay at the start with two no shows!

It wasn’t explained to us that the optional speedboat ride at Sirmione would be less of an experience because the water levels were too low until we were on it. Also there was no time after that experience to explore Sirmione as we had done on previous holidays on the lake tour excursion. Likewise in Limone there was no time to enjoy the town or have some lunch before getting the ferry boat to Riva Garda. We felt that the first half of the trip was too rushed.

It was lovely experience to travel around Lake Garda, unfortunately not enough time at each place we visited. You have an hour to look, get back to coach, ferry, get drink, toilet break always a rush. My friend has to walk slow with disability it was a rush and no chance of looking at anything walked past to be shown meeting point. Limone was beautiful but was rushed past. Ferry to Riva was beautiful. Again no time to look around .Onto Malcesine where I gave up, sat in cafe as to hot and tired.

Amazing overview of the areas surrounding Lake Garda with an amazingly knowledgeable guide. The picturesque locations are dazzling on a lovely day and are sure to make you feel like you've entered an Italian fairytale. However, this trip definitely only gives you a feel for the places you visit, if there is anything in particular you want to explore then I would advise visiting them independent of this experience. It was a great holiday; very good hotel with convenient & efficient transfers. Lots of help particularly from the reps, particularly Lisa (Verona/Lake Garda) not just for the additional trips but tips for loads of other things. Very pleasant, enjoyable & satisfying holiday.. The only point where TUI could improve is to have more people at the airport check-in counters particularly at busy times. Long waits (~ 1hour).

The tour guides knowledge was interesting and also entertaining at times too. We wondered about the pillars on the shores of Lake Garda and now we know. The driver was great and drove well, considering at points you are on the edge of a 200m drop down to the lake. Air conditioning in the coach was great, 1 hour in each stop was a little short, but you do a complete lap of the lake, so its understandable. Pick up was efficient too in Bardolino

Travelling by coach around the lake enabled us to see the different areas and also hear various aspects of its history, which was fabulous. The trip on the ferry from Limone to Riva added an extra touch and prevented a long bus trip from being monotonous. Being given an hour to look around each town at each stop was just enough time to get a feel of a place, but a second visit would be needed if you wanted to see more. Having the same bus throughout facilitated belongings to be left on the bus.

We had too much time on the coach. When we have done this trip other years we have had more time on the lake than in the coach. Also other years if you have paid extra to go on the speed boat you then had time in Simone. However this year we were unable to have time inside the town and had to get back on the coach.

The trip was very worthwhile. The TUI guide, Varka, was very knowledgable and was extremely helpful throughout the day explaining the history of the region to the group. The traffic was particularly bad that day, which limited the time we could spend in the stop-off villages. TUI may need to look at what is being crammed into the day. Friendly, informative guide. It felt a bit rushed at times, for example we only had 20 minutes in Limone, but the tour was a great way to see highlights from the whole of Lake Garda and we really enjoyed our day. On an unexpectedly hot day in May, we were particularly grateful to travel on an air-conditioned coach. We did it on the last day of our holiday but I'd recommend doing the excursion earlier in your trip to get a taste of what the lake has to offer.
