Transfert aller-retour très pratique pour ne pas devoir se soucier de quoi que soit. 3h sur place est largement suffisant pour visiter, faire qq achats souvenirs, manger et admirer le coucher du soleil. La beauté de cet endroit est juste époustouflante...

Hat alles geklappt mit dem Transfer, ich würde jedoch in Frage stellen wollen, ob die letzten Meter nach Zia nicht zu Fuß besser wären (das ist nicht weit, ca. 1-2 Min Fußweg) als durch die kleine Gasse durchzufahren mit dem großen Reisebus zum Parkplatz in der Mitte. Das ist schon sehr eng. Wir können das Restaurant AVLI empfehlen :) toller Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang und leckeres Essen.

The overall experience is brilliant, if coming to Kos you have to visit Zia. It is a beautiful place and the sunset is beyond beautiful. This is our 3rd time here and we still do the trip to Zia.

The bus service was very good. Zia was beautiful and the shops were lovely. I am thankful i asked my TUI rep to recommend and book us a restaurant which she did as we had amazing views of the sunset as we ate dinner.

Der Bus trifft gegen 18 Uhr in Zia ein. Wir empfehlen dringend vor Ort im Restaurant OROMEDON oder OLYMPIA 2 einen Tisch mit Sunsetview zu reservieren. Sonnenuntergang im Juni ca. 19:45, Juli 20:10 Uhr. Rückfahrt des Busses gegen 21 Uhr. Unschlagbares Preis-, Leistungsverhältnis gegenüber allen anderen Touranbietern oder gar Taxiunternehmen.

I think it’s dangerous with so many buses, cars and mother cycles there were in such narrow tiny streets that were full of people. Also, people should be advised to wear rubber sold shoes as the flint cobbles are very slippery

Lovely trip and meal many thanks to our Tui rep Christos Cheizelgount for organising the trip and for booking us a lovely meal in a restaurant. I would recommend the restaurant. The restaurant was the Taverna Avli in Zia.

Joli petit village avec des petites boutiques, très agréable pour acheter des souvenirs. Un supercrestaurabr Avili taverne où on a très bien manger et pas cher. Serveur tres gentil et une vue magnifique avec le coucher du soleil. Le condicteur du bus a très bien roulé, on avait confiance et très bon conseil de la guide TUI.

Un peu déçus par la façon du ramassage bus. Nous avons été pris les premiers et malheureusement déposé au retour les derniers. 3h de bus.pour un trajet qui en soit n'est pas loin de l'hôtel. Ne pourrait on pas envisager que les premiers pris soit déposer au retour les premiers aussi. Ceci sera plus équitable en temps de trajet.

We went to Zia for dinner at sunset and it was excellent. The restaurant booked by Daniel the TUI rep was great and the service from Yanis and the team was superb. Wonderful food and wine, with a stunning view of the sunset. Wonderful.

das Angebot war eine Hin- und Rückfahrt, gibt's eigentlich nicht viel zu bewerten Zia ist total überflutet von Touristen und der Charme geht etwas verloren. Glücklicherweise haben wir bei der Buchung der Tour die Tui-Reiseleitung nach einer Restaurantempfehlung gefragt, das Beste was uns passieren konnte: wir haben anschliessend dort einen Tisch reserviert und durften einen absolut perfekten Abend geniessen.

The sunset view was amazing it is definately worth going to see. We had an evening meal at the restaurant called Olympia 2. Our table was reserved but the restaurant didnt have our reservation unsure what happened. It is worth booking a table.

Der dreistündige Ausflug inkl. Busfahrt war ausreichend, um den schönen Sonnenuntergang zu sehen, um zu Speisen, um sich im Ort umzusehen und Mitbringsel zu kaufen. Der Busfahrer ist sehr vorsichtig gefahren. Der TUI-Mitarbeiter Leon hat uns vorher gut beraten. Alles in allem eine runde Sache. Vielen Dank

Wir haben den Ausflug in vollen Zügen genossen. Das einzigste was uns nicht so gefallen hat war das wir zum Abschluss unser Essen im wahrsten Sinne rein schlingen mussten weil einfach nicht genug Zeit war. Wir wollten den Naturpark mitnehmen somit blieb nicht genug Zeit um in Ruhe durch die kleinen Läden zu schlendern und halt am Ende in Ruhe was essen zu können. Aber zum Schluss waren wir sehr froh dabei gewesen zu sein, weil es atemberaubende Bilder und Farben waren.

We found that with cobbled road it was as difficult to walk on particularly for elderly and with a walking stick. The pick up point was a complete shambles as there were about 7 various coaches and the road was narrow and with the amount of people waiting there was barely any room to get out of the way. We were squashed against the shops and with vehicles coming along while you were trying to look at the shops. The shops were nice and interesting, but taking photos of the Sunset was dangerous.

Zia ist nicht das idyllische Bergdorf wie angepriesen - hier hätte ich mir Ehrlichkeit gewünscht. Zudem kam der Bus 16 Minuten zu spät, in der starken Nachmittagssinne ist das recht unangenehm zu warten. Auch hätte man uns ja darüber benachrichtigen können - meine Handynummer war schließlich bekannt.

Het was een hele mooie zonsondergang! De tijd in Zia was wel erg lang (3 uur) als je niet daar wou eten en alleen de zonsondergang wou kijken. Het was een beetje jammer dat er niet genoemd werd op welke verschillende plaatsen de zonsondergang bekeken kon worden, dit moest je zelf maar een beetje uitzoeken. Maar het dorpje Zia en de zonsondergang zijn zeker een aanrader!

Sehr schönes Erlebnis und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut. Die Abfahrt vom Bus zurück war sehr knapp bemessen. Wir hatten aufgrund dessen rechtzeitig zwischendurch schon unsere Getränke bezahlt. Ansonsten alles in einem ein sehr gelungenes Erlebnis und absolut weiter zu empfehlen.

Highly recommend this excursion, such a stunning place with great views for sunset pictures. We ate in Olympia 2 on the roof top. I would suggest taking sunglasses as the sun is bright up there. Zia has lots of shops to browse in and friendly stray cats to stroke. The whole place was beautiful. So glad we went.

De rit naar Zia was mooi! Het dorpje zelf viel tegen. Ik had een wat meer authentiek Grieks dorpje verwacht! Het was een aaneenschakeling van toeristenwinkeltjes en restaurantjes... een soort Volendam. De zonsondergang was echter schitterend! De prijs voor de busrit is wel erg hoog helaas.

Our Tui rep Daniel was amazing and secured a dinner reservation for us at the Magic Mountain restaurant. We had a superb evening, travelled on the trip on a Tuesday, initially disappointed as the restaurant we initially wanted Oromedon is closed on a Tuesday; so glad because we had the most delicious feta in filo pastry to start, and their famous balsamic fillet steak. The place, the decor the staff - superb! Only negative, maybe a little later departure to enjoy the atmosphere of the town.

Ein gelungener Abend. Sehr gutes Essen, ein wunderschöner Sonnenuntergang. Das die Busse durch die schmale Gasse fahren, finde ich nicht okay. Parken vor dem Ort wäre möglich. Ein bisschen kann man schon selbst gehen. Ein Souvenirgeschäft nach dem anderen ... überall das selbe. Unnötig!

Ondanks dat wij gewaarschuwd werden om geen hoge verwachtingen te hebben over Zia, vonden wij het zeker de moeite waard. Leuk en gezellige winkelstraatje (vergeet de zijstraatjes niet), mooi uitzicht en gezellige restaurantjes. Wij hebben de zonsondergang gecombineerd met een diner (op een heuvel).

Ein schöner Sonnenuntergang. Alle Menschen tummeln sich an der Mauer über dem Parkplatz am Ortseingang. Abends also richtig viel los . Das kleine Dorf ist zauberhaft , voll mit Geschäften und Restaurants. Wir haben eine Platz oben im einem Restaurant bekommen und von dort aus den Sonnenuntergang 🌅 beobachtet. Die Buchung uber TUI war super organisiert , der Fahrer war überpünkllich , freundlich und beherrschten großen Bus in den engen Gassen perfekt.

Es war sehr interessant und die Aussicht war ein Knaller. Die Zeit war angemessen um zu stöbern und etwas zu essen, bevor man sich den traumhaft schönen Sonnenuntergang anschauen konnte. Alles in allem ein netter Ausflug. Schön, Zia mal gesehen zu haben.

Would have expected a TUI Rep to have been present to give us info on the area. The bus driver did his job, picked us up on time dropped us off and gave us a time for pick up. Didn’t realise there was a church there until we got on the bus back to the hotel. I think you need inform guests before about the extra 12euros to go to the highest point in the National Park? Overall it was good for the price.

Da wir nur den Transfer gebucht hatten, können wir nicht mehr darüber erzählen. Zia ist halt ein Touristen Dorf mit zahlreichen Souvenirständen und einem schönen Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang. Weshalb sich schon deswegen ein Ausflug nach Zia lohnt.

The bus journey there took over 90 minutes, at one point the driver reversed and parked up a deserted road for 15 minutes and did nothing, he then proceeded to drive around in circles for another 15 minutes. Everyone was frustrated at what he was doing

This was exactly what it said it would be. No nonsense, prompt safe and effective travel. More expensive per person than getting a taxi, however, we accepted the premium price for the reassurance that the return journey would be there on time.

Zia its self is lovely. Advise should be given to pre book a table with a view if you have a specific desire. Minimal information provided on pick up. Was at the bus 25 mins prior as a precaution. Bus arrived 35 mind later than advised. Pick up location on verification document poor. Was sent no map icon as per the FAQ page suggested. " sea side road bus stop " statement for collection" poor as no bus stop where we actually got picked up. Description such as opposite supermarket allow 30.mins

Bus was 20 minutes late picking us up and we had very little time after arrival, 9pm return pick up was far to early, sunset was at 8.30pm then leaving 30 mins later was too rushed, lovely place but wouldt do it independently next time to allow me time to explore the village more.

Negative point: too many pick up points which made it a longer journey despite Zia not being far away from our Hotel , it could have been easier to book a taxi direct from our Hotel,with the bonus that we could stayed longer in Zia. TUI representative said nothing about multiple pickups and Zia being easily reachable by taxi. Not guided tour so unable to comment . Zia is a beautiful village ,plenty of places to sample authentic Greek food however you need to arrive early to ensure u get a table

Simple, great little trip - picked up; about 3 hrs at Zia; and returned safely at the end of night. Zia is one main street full of lovely gift shops, bars and restaurants. One recommendation - if planning on eating, maybe book ahead as the peak times can be busy. Olympia was nice with a roof terrace, but there were others. As an example I did 1 hrs browsing 6.00-7.00pm; then a lovely relaxing meal 7.00-8.45pm; bus leaved at 9pm. Well worth doing this trip for the atmosphere, views & sunset

Zia it self is beautiful and a wonderful place to visit but the trip itself is not half a day and it's not adult only we had less than three hours and there were children on the bus the bus itself was a very push and shove kind of experience the driver barely spoke and there was no other staff around to answer any questions we may have had.

The trip went ahead with no dramas. There was no guide, just the coach driver, who was lovely. We felt the time in Zia was not enough. We really enjoyed the trip but would have liked one more hour there.

Zia is a really nice place to visit in Kos. Definitely find a roof top restaurant to go to for sunset, great views. No need to reserve a table unless you want a close up view. Personally we did find the price quite high as it was just a coach with lots of other people we paid £17 each and for €40 (£34) a taxi, we wish we'd gotten a taxi as it's practically the same price for 2people may vary slightly. In saying that the coach was fine and the drivers were very clear and useful.

Lovely evening trip to see the beautiful sunset at Zia. Clear communication all round. We were picked up in Kos town at 5.15 and arrived in Zia approx 6,00 and picked up again at 9.00. This gave us plenty of time for a wander round Zia and a meal

Abholung lief reibungslos. Diesmal hatten wir ein Restaurant zum Abendessen gebucht, so dass wir den gigantischen Sonnenuntergang beim Essen genießen konnten. Das Restaurant Olympia 2 können wir nur empfehlen. Leider hatten wir dadurch nur eine gute Stunde Zeit, um durch die Gassen und den ganzen Souvenir Shops zu laufen.

We were told it would take 30 minutes to get to Zia, however it took 1hr 15 and with a 2 year old the heads up would have been nice.. we were first to be picked up so that’s probably why but still would be nice to know before hand. The sunset however was absolutely beautiful and the town was full of cute little souvenir shops. Very cobbly streets so bit tricky with the pram but it was ok! Would recommend going to watch the sunset if you are in a location where you can’t see it completely set!

Die Organisation war eine Katastrophe. Völlig unklarer Abholort im Ticket, freundlicher Servicemitarbeiter schickte uns per E-Mail und Rückruf vermeintlich richtigen Abholort. Busfahrer hatte einen anderen Abholort. Nur Mithilfe einer Freundin, die bereits im Bus saß, hat der Busfahrer gewendet und uns doch noch aufgespielt. Ohne diese griechisch sprechende Freundin wären wir nie in Sia gelandet.

Ideal way to visit Zia at night to see the sunset. It was eEasy to get on the organised coach and the driver gave clear instructions of what time pick up was and where to find the bus. There was a good amount of time to visit Zia and have a meal whilst watching the sunset. Our rep, Christos, booked us onto this experience and reserved a table for us at a lovely restaurant in Zia.

This trip into the hills is a wonderful outing. We left our hotel at 17,40 and arrived at 6.15 Plenty of time to shop at the Greek shops there. We booked a table at Magic mountain restaurant for 7pm , perfect food and great view of the sunset . Coach picked us back up at 9pm , back at hotel for 9.30pm.

Christos was the TUI rep - he took 40 euro for the trip and said it would pick me and my partner up at the utopia blu hotel. We waited from 5:15 to 6:15 to get picked up. We got a taxi instead for twenty euro.

The bus arrived exactly on time and the driver was friendly. The drive was really nice and the driver drove safely. Zia was beautiful and a great place for our last night in Kos. Plenty of places to eat and lots of tourist shops to shop in. Lots of opportunities to take some great picturesque photos. Overall a wonderful experience.

Tolles Erlebnis, der Bustransfer vom Hotel ( TUI Maramari Palace) war pünktlich, Abholpunkt vorm Hotel und in Zia deutlich besprochen durch Reiseleitung ( Christina) und vor Ort durch den Busfahrer. Transferzeit mit knapp 50 Minuten ok. Tolle kleine Stadt, Zeit vor Ort reichte völlig aus zum schlendern, Essen und um dem wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang zu beobachten.

We booked a private minibus for 10 of us (the minibus is for 15 so split it between us). Aldo, our rep, completed the arrangement in 10 mins and cost us €280. We chose this option due to my mobility issues are unable to get on a coach due to the steps. The minibus had a step at ground level and one more. In the day of our trip the minibus arrived on time and what a delight our driver was Stefonos. He was totally professional and put us right in to the centre of Zia. 10/10

Mooie bustrip naar Zia met een goede en vriendelijke chauffeur. Tafel gereserveerd door Tui host op een mooi plekje zodat we konden genieten van de zonsondergang. The sunset is lovely. The town is a wall to wall tourist destination with countless souvenir and clothing outlets. We went to a very nice friendly taverna opposite the wall overlooking the valley which offered an excellent view of the sunset. We went in May and it did get chilly after sunset so be prepared. The transfer from the Blue Lagoon village was an hour and would guess in the high season would be longer with pick ups drop offs etc.

This was a fantastic excursion! The bus picked us up outside the hotel, and took us up to Zia which was about a 20 minute journey. Zia is absolutely stunning, and you get the best views of the sunsets! We had booked a table ahead of time at Taverna Avli, and the food, staff, and views were honestly incredible. I would highly recommend this excursion for a very memorable evening.

Beautiful place with stunning views, just about made it for the sunset. Great little places to eat out and get a drink. Lots of shops and stalls for souvenirs. The only thing I would say is that we arrived at 4.30 and didn't get picked up until 9 which I felt was too long for such a small place. Definitely worth a visit, would highly recommend.

Der Aufenthalt ist massiv zu lange!!! Selbst die Besitzer der Restaurants sagen dass! Es wurde bereits bei TUI mehrfach angesprochen aber ohne Reaktion! Zia ist zweifelsohne einen Ausflug wert, der auch in den Abend hinein andauert. Allerdings müsste auch Gelegenheit bestehen, den Ort zunächst bei Tageslicht zu erkunden und die Aussicht zu genießen. Unser Ausflug sah so aus, dass wir erst kurz vor Sonnenuntergang ankamen. Nachdem es kurz darauf dunkel wurde, hatten wir noch dreieinhalb Stunden Zeit bis zur Rückfahrt des Busses, die dann sehr lang wurden. Und anders als andere Gäste wurden wir nicht direkt vom Hotel abgeholt und dorthin gebracht.

Die Aufenthaltsdauer ist einfach zu lang. Preis Leistung stehen nicht im Verhältnis, da ja nur der Bustransfer als Kostenposition anfällt. Dieses Angebot sollte unbedingt überarbeitet bzw. angepasst werden. Der Busfahrer war nicht zur angegebenen Zeit vor Ort.

The timings were wrong, only arriving literally just as the sun disappeared so we didn't make it to the view point for the sunset. The clock change hadn't been taken into consideration for sunset. Had a lovely meal in a restaurant and town is pretty but I feel trip was over priced and we could have just got a taxi and made it earlier so ww could enjoy the sunset and not feel so rushed upon arriving and disappointed.

Beautiful place and the sunset was stunning . The whole area was very nice and peaceful (October ) Had an amazing dinner at the Magic Mountain restaurant . Prices in the shops were reasonable. Only downside was pickup at 9pm , this could have been a bit earlier as we all gathered about 8.30pm maybe just nearer the end of the season make pickup earlier. But overall a lovely trip and would recommend

Man wird abgeholt und wird nach Zia gefahren. Ein Dorf mit sehr wenigen Einwohnern. Da sind Händler die was verkaufen, aber da ist man in wenigen durch gelaufen und man muss fast 4,5 h dort verbringen und ist dort gezwungen was zu Essen. Wenn die Rückfahrt ist, kann man in seinem Hotel nichts mehr Essen. Also eine reine Fahrt um für die Leute dort Geschäfte zu machen.

Don't get me wrong the town of Zia is beautiful but I'm actually so unhappy for 1 the driver was late. 2, we only had 3 hours there. 3, all the shops shut at 8pm which left us standing in darkness waiting on a bus. I would like a refund for this trip as it was abysmal. It's not the towns fault it's the time getting picked up and basically paying £34 to be there for 2 hours. I have never had problems with excursions but I'm not paying that kind of money for a trip that lasted 2 out of 4 hours

Der Tranfer war gut orgenisiert. Leider ist es nicht ersichtlich, wann der Rüchtransport stattfindet. Wir hatten z.B. 4 h in Zia Zeit, was ich persönlich für zu lange halte. Wir bekamen erst bei Ankuft die Auskunft darüber, wann es wieder zurückgeht ins Hotel. Ein weiterer Negativpunkt war, dass der Fahrer gesagt hat Rückfahrt ist um 21.00 Uhr. Er fuhr aber schon um 20.50 los obwohl noch 2 Leute gefehlt haben.. das fand ich bissle frech. Ansonsten ist Zia ein Muss wenn man die Insel besucht.

Chauffören var väldigt duktig och körde säkert både upp och ner till Zia. Fyra timmar var för lång tid tyckte vi, tre timmar hade räckt. Väldigt mycket uppe på Zia går ut på att sälja och det tar bort det ”känslan” lite av Kos.

It was a great way to get to Zia and spend some time there. I wouldn't feel comfortable driving a car on a way back at those bendy roads as there are no street lights so having a transfer was spot on. Zia is fantastic to see.

Helaas geen zonsondergang gezien vanwege het weer. Zouden de excursie dan beter uitstellen. Zia is maar 2 straten groot, met enkele winkeltjes. Zeer toeristisch en druk. 4 duurde echt veel te lang. Toch met het slecht weer. Zonde van het geld want op het strand aan ons hotel hebben we wel al een mooie zonsondergang gezien. Wel een dikke 10 voor de buschauffeur. Vriendelijke man. Vertelde veel over het leven in Griekenland.

We had a lovely evening trip here. The tourist shops had plenty of things to see, the views were absolutely stunning, and the restaurants were lovely with great food and a welcoming atmosphere. A really enjoyable experience, would definitely recommend! The transfer was about 5/10 minutes late but was all smooth running.

This trip was just a bus ride to and from Zia really. Driver seemed under pressure, tooted his horn and shouted at anyone who happened to get in his way. Zia was a very pretty place and the sunset was indeed spectacular…I’m sure the other 1000 or so people up there thought so too….didn’t expect it to be so busy! We had drinks in Methea and the staff there were lovely and so friendly. I’d wear sturdier footwear and take a light jacket if I went again-streets are cobbled and it got a bit chilly.

Die kleine Dorf ist sicherlich hübsch und einen Besuch wert. Es war uns allerdings maßlos zu überfüllt. Außerhalb der kleinen Gasse musste man ständig darauf achten, nicht von einem Bus oder Auto überfahren zu werden. Die Tavernen waren allerdings sehr authentisch und nett.

We gingen voor de mooie zonsondergang. Die we niet hebben gezien. Het was een chaos bij aankomst, en de beste plaatsen voor leuke foto’s waren dakterrassen van restaurants, maar die waren allemaal gereserveerd. Zia hat uns persönlich gut gefallen, aber wir sind privat, für uns gefahren. Ihr sogenannter Reiseleiter im Hotel hatte schon ein Problem mit der Eingabe unserer Daten. Wir mussten unsere Daten 3x eingeben und zum Schluss hat er den falschen Tag gebucht. Wir wollten am Samstag nach Zia und er gab Donnerstag ein, wo wir schon etwas anderes hatten, haben es aber auch erst später festgestellt. Seine Beratung war bescheiden und nichtssagend, vielleicht einmal besser Schulen.

Loverly place to visit, very picturesque - perfect for an everning out and to get a taste of the island and Greek food. Everyone very friendly and welcoming - lots of shops to purchase souveniers - reasonable prices and good selection - no hard sellilng. Beautiful - definately recommend.

Bus kwam een uur te laat aan om ons op te pikken. Totaal geen updates langs TUI zijn kant, slechts na meermaals bellen eindelijk te horen gekregen dat de bus technische panne had. Gevolg we kwamen aan in zia nadat de zon onder was. En dus de hoofdreden waarom we kwamen was al niet meer aanwezig. Qua winkeltjes: 1 straat met enkele winkels met identiek dezelfde souvenirs als in Kos. Niet echt de moeite dus om hier 3u aanwezig te zijn. Eten in the village taverne was wel zeer goed in orde!

We have now been to Kos with Tui 5 times. We were here in June and now September of 2025. In June and September we had the same bus driver to Zia. Both times we had been advised that we meet back at thw bus meeting point at 9:30pm and both times our driver has started to drice off without us!! We were never late and I checked the time as we sat on the bus it was 9:31pm. Only for a lady recognising us she made the bus driver stop and she came to get us!! The other time my mother made him wait!!!!

Prompt pick up and pleasant journey up to Zia by coach. TV he time spent in Zia was sufficient to have a look round the beautiful village and enjoy the views of the sunset from a rooftop restaurant. The only criticism I have is that the pick up by the coach on the return was absolute chaos with the amount of coaches and people all congregated on the narrow street. Otherwise a very enjoyable experience.

Aber es ist immer ein wenig Zeit alles zu sehen!Wenn man zum Beispiel in die schönen kleinen Läden bummeln will oder sich in gemütlichen kleinen Restaurants was Essen und Trinken will.Vielleicht könnten sie den Zia Ausflug auch als Tagesausflug machen?Wir waren einen Tag vorher beim Kos Ausflug wo Zia mit dabei ist.Da könnten wir gerade mal das Essen genießen und es ging wieder weiter.Da waren wir froh dass wir Zia bei Nacht noch gebucht haben.

In meinen Augen ist diese Tour völlig überbewertet und unnötig. Sonnenuntergänge sind von jedem anderen Ort ähnlich schön. Und vor allem ruhiger zu erleben.Schlimm, dass der Massentourismus hier soo deutlich zu sehen ist, bzw. einem vor Augen gehalten wird, was er bedeutet. Die Händler und Verkaufsstände bieten Touristen-Ramsch und sind abhängig von den Reisegesellschaften die ein ganzes Dorf in den Ruin stürzen können, sollten sie die Tour nicht mehr anbieten. Das ist eine lose-lose Situation!

We would be better dropped off before the village to see the Sunset. ?? as that’s the best views. No one tells you till after. Then go for a meal then be picked up. It was a lot of hanging around after the sunset had gone down. Perhaps pick up at 9 instead of 9.30

10/10 for everything. The coach there and back was perfectly on time both ways. Beautiful village and very friendly people. Worth paying the €5 to walk up through the nature reserve and watch the sunset from an even higher viewpoint with a glass of wine. Plenty of time to get a meal and do a bit of shopping afterwards. Fantastic evening.

Qualité et ponctualité du transfert dans un bus confortable et climatisé. Zia vaut le détour car le village est très beau. Évidemment, il y a l afflux de touristes mais si vois avez la courage de monter et de quitter la zone commerciale, vous trouverez l authenticité du village. Et Évidemment le magnifique soleil se couchant sur la mer et les montagnes.

De bus was prins op tijd en goed geregeld. Hou er rekening mee dat je er rond 18.00-18.15 bent. Reserveren van een tafel in een restaurant met zonsondergang uitzicht viel niet helemaal mee. Discussie gevoerd maar wel een tafel gekregen. Het uitzicht is prachtig!

No tui guided. Bus driver had wife and three children on the bus so it was a family day out for him . Hotel refused to book us a table so asked tui rep to help . He booked us a table for 18.15 . Coach never got there till 18.28 . Never got table . Searched around and manged to get in somewhere and it was the same one as the driver and nosey kids ... zia was nice tui rep should be present

Der Aufenthalt bis 21:30 ist viel zulange. Alle Busse kommen auf einmal. Totales Chaos. Unser Bus , der kleinste kam als letztes. Hätten schon lange weg sein können so mussten wir auf alle anderen warten. Sonst die Stadt nur Touristenstände und teure Restaurants. Einzigste gute war der Tierpark. Leer und ruhig und sehr schön.

As always it’s nice to experience something a little different and for few hours this trip fits the bill nicely a lovely small village that’s made good an opportunity that’s come along through tourism. The restaurants don’t seem to overcharge for the experience either which is comforting as well would recommend this tour to all.

Beautiful place w, beautiful sunset. Very busy we arrived a bit later than most so the rooftop restaurants were full but still saw the sunset. Left at 9.30, which seemed early, and if u wanted to eat, you did t leave much time to visit shops, etc. Low score for guide as there wasn't one only the driver

We loved our visit to Zia with dinner booked as extra at Olympia restaurant. It gave us a stunning view of the sunset. The sunset viewing area is 80 metres further from the drop off which isn’t made clear at time of booking and for those with reduced mobility given the cobbled road it’s quite difficult to navigate. It didn’t spoil our evening though. There’s plenty of souvenir shops around too. It gets very busy as there’s multiple coaches and other vehicles. Definitely recommend to others.

Costs about 25% more than local companies, which use smaller more practical buses (minibuses) for Zia. TUI however drive large coaches up to Zia, which causes traffic jams, struggle to manoeuvre and especially when collecting passengers at the end of the night. The coach collection point is disorganised with tourists in danger of being hit by coaches, scooters, motorbikes etc. Coach was 10-15 minutes late on the way there. More or less on time coming back. Departure time coming back was 21:30.

Ziia was beautiful, worth a visit however we were sold the trip with a pick up time at 17.45, this was changed the day before to 18.05 but the bus didn’t stop to pick us up at the hotel, instead driving straight past 13 of us waiting, after a lengthy phone call to TUI we were informed a mini bus would come and pick us up, they were unsure why the bus hadn’t stopped, the mini bus turned up after 40 minutes, by the time we got to Zia we’d missed out on an hour of our experience, very disappointed

Really well organised Tui trip. Prompt pick up, not too many hotel pick ups en route and departed Zia at 9:40 as promised. Driver was really good on twisty roads and very friendly. Great sunset views over the islands if you walk up to the nature reserve in Zia - but otherwise the town/village is just a tourist trap of tatty shops and expensive restaurants.

Der Ausblick auf den Sonnenuntergang ist von Zia aus wirklich wunderschön! Ein Platz in einem der Restaurants sollte man unbedingt vorher buchen. Bieten die TUI Mitarbeiter auch an. Macht Sinn, denn es war ziemlich voll. Sollte man wissen: Der Ort ansich besteht nur aus Souvenirläden und Tavernen, Bars, Cafés. Der Preis für diesen Ausflug beinhaltet nur den Transfer mit dem Bus. Trotzdem lohnenswert!!!!

The your in general is pretty poor and offers very little by way of value for money. The timings were off meaning everything in the run upto sunset is rushed. Allowing 90 minutes post sunset for “shopping” was unnecessary, and could have been done in half the time. Speaking as an ex-excursion manager this option could be massively improved.

Zia by Night bestaat uit een korte busreis van 15 minuten, die eigenlijk te duur is voor wat je krijgt. Na de rit heb je 3,5 uur vrije tijd, maar het is druk en toeristisch. Het vinden van een tafel met uitzicht op de zonsondergang is lastig door de grote toestroom van bezoekers. Hoewel het een leuke ervaring is, voelt het te commercieel en prijzig voor wat je krijgt (enkel busreis). Zeker niet de meest authentieke manier om Zia te ervaren.

Netter Fahrer, Abholung war etwas schlecht organisiert ( abgewichen von ursprünglichem Angabeort, haben den Bus durch Zufall erwischt auch nach zuvoriger TUI Support Kontakt Aufnahme ) Zia an sich war schön, würden es aber nicht nochmal machen - einmalig ok, eigentlich nur für Turisten, kamen am Abend 3 Reisebusse an die die Restaurants und Shops befüllt haben, wurden dann alle 3h später abgeholt - großes Durcheinander! La soirée à Zia était magnifique. Beaucoup de bar et de restaurants perchés pour admirer le coucher de soleil. Pleins de boutiques, nous y avons trouvé tous les souvenirs à rapporté à la famille. Les locaux sont adorables, ma fille de 6 ans a reçu pleins de petits cadeaux suite à nos achats. Seul bémol pour l'indication des bus de retour. Les étiquettes sur les pares brises avaient changé, il y avait foule et il a fallu demander à chaque chauffeur s'ils se rendait à notre hôtel ou non.

Lovely sunset from Zia. Had a lovely meal in Olympia and found a nice place to watch the sunset with a drink. Loads of shops, and had time to have a quick look before heading back to coach. Kids enjoyed the change from resort.

Zia ist ein sehr schöner Ort mit tollen Läden und Restaurants. Der Sonnenuntergang und die Aussicht sind mega schön. Der Ausflug hat sich gelohnt und war das Geld wert. Die Rückfahrt um 21:20 Uhr war für uns etwas zu spät und hätte auch um 20:30 Uhr sein können.

L’excursion est chère pour si peu de temps sur place. Alors que le bus doit arriver à 17h30 voire 45, il arrive à 18h. Le temps de faire le tour de tous les hôtels, nous arrivons à 18h30. Joli village mais il faut s’enfoncer dans les rues adjacentes où vivent les locaux. Ensuite, il faut vite trouver une taverne où dîner, prendre sur photo depuis la table et repartir. Les plus belles photos de coucher de soleil sont celles prises sur la plage devant le Zorbas.

Great trip. Our rep booked us the sunset balcony for dinner it was amazing views, the food was delicious. It’s a very nice town, best place for shopping- better than Kos town or Kardamaina for bags/football kits/ dishes and trinkets. In the evening the town has fairy lights all over which is so cute. The roads are very small so be aware of the cars as they’re very quiet

The coach driver was great, very informative and made sure everyone knew where we would be meeting and when. The tui rep helped us secure a table booking for dinner at a fantastic restaurant. Dinner was delicious and the views were incredible.Zia town itself is beautiful.

Great value for your money, the sunset is beautiful. I would pre book a table if you are going for a meal as it gets very busy. Also, don’t follow the crowds to the shops, instead walk further up the hill as views are breathtaking and you can walk through the village.

This was a simple bus journey to and from Zia, when you were at Zia, you need to find a restaurant to eat independently, which was fine as there was plenty of places to eat! The sunset delivered beautifully and gave some gorgeous views. The small independent shops were lovely and staff were friendly and all spoke English. I would recommend this trip!

Ein wunderschönes Bergdorf mit einem tollen Panoramablick. Der höchstgelegene Punkt von Kos und ein herrlicher Sonnenuntergang. Dementsprechend natürlich voll von Reisebussen und Touristen. Wer in einem der Aussichtsrestaurants essen möchte, sollte gleich bei Ankunft einen Tisch reservieren. Die Reiseleitung ist nur für Hin- und Rückfahrt zuständig, aber das machen sie gut.

Wycieczke udalo sie zorganizowac tylko dzieki ogromnej pomocy pani Magdy, przewodniczki z TUI. Pani Magda od poczatku do konca pomogla nam wszystko zorganizowac i skoordynowac czasowo, pokierowala do odpowiednich osób i wytlumaczyla jak mamy co zrobic i z kim zalatwic. Bardzo uprzejma i naprawde pomocna, bez niej by nam sie nie udalo. Ogromne slowa uznania i jeszcze raz ogromne podziekowania dla Pani Magdy :)

Zia is een klein maar toeristisch bergdorpje. Veel winkeltjes met dure souvenirs die je goedkoper in Kos stad kunt kopen. De restaurantjes zijn bijna allemaal van dezelfde eigenaar en bieden niet veel variatie aan. Wel leuk om een mooie zonsondergang te zien. Verder een crime voor de touringcar om langs de her en der geparkeerde auto’s te laveren. Dat vereist stuurmanskunst en geduld. Geen begeleiding of gids aanwezig. Was voor ons ook niet nodig. De chauffeur geeft aan hoe laat de bus vertrekt.

Ophalen met bus ging heel eenvoudig. Gewoon bij dichtbijzinde “openbare” busstation staan en je wordt opgehaald (als je je opgegeven hebt). Ritje zelf duurt circa een uur. Ongeveer half uur om andere mensen op te halen (althans wij kwamen vanuit Psiladi en moesten door Kos mensen ophalen) en dan klein half uur het weggetje omhoog de bergen in. Zia zelf erg leuk net als de rit. Natuurlijk wel wat vercommercialiseerd met winkeltjes en kraampjes langs de weg maar heel gezellig. Wij aten bij Olympia

Wenn wir gewusst hätten, wie überlaufen das Dörfchen zum Sonnenuntergang ist, hätten wir diesen Ausflug nicht gebucht. Da ist der Sonnenuntergang am Meer bei unserem Hotel um Klassen besser. Schade. Hatten oberhalb im Dorf noch einen schönen Platz gefunden. Von daher ein versöhnlicher Abschluss.

We loved Zia. But the driver of coach 333 was appalling. He spoke on his phone the whole way/laughing manically/texting/ driving fast/dangerously and despite being the first on the bus at 5pm he dropped everyone else off in opposite order apart from us, if he had gone the same order for everyone I could understand but that’s just plain rude and extremely unfair for the people on the bus the longest I’m disgusted TUI would provide such a dangerous service

Wir hatten uns unseren Abend in Zia sehr romantisch vorgestellt. Was uns erwartete: Reiner Touri-Napp, überteuerte Souvenirs, kein Flair, nur Geldmacherei. Und was es obendrauf gab: Zwar einen wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang auf einer Restaurantterrasse - und die Lebensmittelvergiftung kostenlos dazu. Eine Nacht auf der Toilette verbracht und ein komplett verlorener Urlaubstag. Die Enttäuschung ist groß. Definitiv empfehlenswerter einen Abend in Kos oder Kefalos zu verbringen...

Sehr chaotische Transfer hin und besonders zurück. Einzige plus der Busfahrer kontrollierte ob er alle leute mit genommen hat. Sehr enge straße für so viele Buse , besonders diese großen Busse. Man wird einfach abgestellt, keiner der einen kurz etwas erklären würde, auch im vorher würde nicht genaueres gesagt, außer das Zia aus 2 Straße besteht. Wobei das Dörfchen an sich sehr schön war.

Handige transfer naar het leuke dorpje Zia. Prachtige zonsondergang daar! Genoeg tijd om wat te eten of rond te kijken. Als je wilt eten in een restaurant moet je wel van tevoren reserveren, het is overal erg druk. We waren rond 18.15 uur daar, en moesten om 21.30 uur terug zijn in de bus. Zorg dat je op tijd bent, want de buschauffeur wacht geen minuut langer!

Der Ausflug bzw der Transfer ist viel zu lang - es sind 2-4 Stunden angegeben - man ist aber mehr als 6 Stunden unterwegs - davon die meiste Zeit im Bus - in zia selbst reicht eine Stunde um alles anzuschauen - danach stehen alle am Sammelpunkt und warten auf die Busse - es gibt sonst nichts weiter was man dort machen könnte

Der Autobus war pünktlich und auch während der Fahrt fühlte man sich trotz enger Bergstraße sicher. Der Ort selber ist zu 100% auf den Tourismus ausgerichtet: viele Geschäfte mit Souvenirartikel und die zahlreichen Tavernen mit Dachterrassen, um den Sonnenuntergang zu sehen. Das Essen und die Preise sind in Ordnung und ab ca. 22.00 Uhr sind die meisten Touristen wieder unterwegs in ihre Hotels…

Zia is a really busy place with all the same shops. As much as we appreciate we are tourists, we want to see more than just gift shops. Zia was very busy at sunset, we luckily booked the oromedon a month in advance. But once we finished, the town was heaving with people! There were probably 4 coaches full of tourists, 3 were tui. Overall, value for money is great, taxis there and back cost a fortune so this is the best way of going to zia. Highly recommend, just expect a lot of people!!!

Wij waren erg teleurgesteld. We vroegen alvorens we dit boekten of dit doenbaar was met een 1 jarige, we zouden haar meenemen in een buggy en uiteindelijk zou zij kunnen slapen na zonsondergang. Dit was onmogelijk, de grond lag er mega hobbelig bij waardoor ze gewoon werd wakker geschut. Weinig te zien, mega veel verkeer en super gevaarlijk met de bussen die ons kwamen ophalen vooral ‘s avonds dan.. + reis naar Zia duurde een uur omdat we zo ver rondreden voor andere Tui gasten te gaan ophalen.

Die Sonnenuntergangsfahrt beinhaltet die reine Busfahrt, was aber vollkommen ausreichend ist. Zia ist eine kleine Stadt, welche gut selbst erkundet werden kann und zu einem Shoppingerlebnis einlädt. Man sollte versuchen ein Restaurant zu reservieren, da es schwierig war einen Platz zum Abendessen zu bekommen. Man konnte an verschiedenen Punkten den Sonnenuntergang genießen und wurde pünktlich und sicher wieder zum Hotel gebracht.

Absoluut de moeite waard! Prachtige plek om de zon onder te zien gaan. Het is alleen een transfer dus er was geen reisleiding aanwezig, maar dat is ook niet nodig. We hadden alle tijd om foto’s te maken, te eten, van de zonsondergang te genieten en de winkeltjes te bezoeken. Tip: als je wilt eten tijdens zonsondergang, reserveer dan van te voren! Aanraders voor mooi uitzicht: Oromedon, Olympia 2 of Magic Mountain. De winkeltjes verkopen vooral veel van dezelfde souvenirs die je overal ziet.

Erg leuk dorpje met veel leuke souvenierwinkeltjes! Geboekte transfer erg aan te raden doordat je daardoor niet in de file komt te staan en je druk hoeft te maken waar te parkeren. Aan te raden van te voren een goed plekje met sunsetview te reserveren. Wij zaten bij Olympia2. Mooi uitzicht daar! Nadeel was dat het een oude bus was met slechte airco. Beetje chaos bij het wachten op de bus voor de terugrit.

Driver picked us up a on time and told us what time to be back. Had 3.5 hours in Zia which for us was plenty of time. Don’t know why anyone would say it’s a rush. Went straight to Olympia restaurant to book roof top table whilst we had a wander. Views were unreal, service at restaurant was great. Overall highly recommend.

Beautiful views, but absolutely packed with coaches. Alot of the restaurants were full from people that had booked ahead or block booked as part of the coach package. Definitely worth the visit, just a shame so many coaches were squeezing people into this small village.

The driver was on time, friendly and informative. We arrived in Zia at 6pm. We had plenty of time to look around the shops before dinner. Zia was stunning. We stood on the bridge and watched the sunset before a bit more shopping and another drink. The driver collected us at the stated time. A perfect evening.

Allting var superbra, kanske att busschauffören körde lite aggressivt på hemvägen vilket kändes lite obehagligt på den slingriga vägen. Solnedgången började vid 20.00 och vi fick plats på en restaurang (där bussen släppte av, Olympia hette den) där man kunde äta gott och se den fantastiska solnedgången. Tre timmar räckte gott för att gå runt i turist-butiker. Toppenutflykt!

Driver was very clear in his communication about times to be back at the meeting point, and very helpful. Zia itself was WOW! Stopped at the Olympus for dinner and it had beautiful food (and wine). Finished off with a cocktail in a rooftop bar for the sunset. Definitely visit the church further up the hill, very serene. It was an amazing experience for us.

Drop off & pick up at Zia was convenient. We booked in advance for a table at Olympia 2 & you could not fault the food. As we arrived at Zia quite early we easily found a table for a drink. It would be better if Tui let you know roughly what time you arrive at Zia, to make it easier for booking a table.

The trip was amazing to be taken safely up into Zia clear instructions from the driver for where to be for the return journey and time. The people were lovely welcoming. Such a beautiful environment definitely worth a visit. Tui reps booked a restaurant for us at Olimpia 2 which was stunning for the view and the staff were so welcoming and lovely and the food was excellent.. Would definitely go back.

Énormément de touristes, plus d'1h d'attente avec le bus pour le retour. Confusion avec tous les autres touristes pour savoir quel bus prendre. Très déçus.

We enjoyed Zia by Night. Pick up was as described at the bus stop across from hotel, coach arrived on time. Pleasant journey to Zia. Had a lovely evening. Very busy in Zia. Adequate time for us spent in Zia. It was busy at the end everyone trying to get onto their coaches but it didn’t bother us. Happy booked via TUI as understand very expensive taking a taxi.

Basically this is a taxi service to Zia… no advice to help book dinner and/or guide of the town is provided - it’s just pick up (9.30pm) and drop off (6.30pm) - 3 hours is plenty to walk, shop and eat. If you didn’t want to eat a hike up the natural park to enjoy the viewpoint is an option but having this information provided when booking would have made the trip more enjoyable.

There was no guide or rep on the coach and it took an hour due all the stops which was way too long. However Zia is a must if on Kos and the price was reasonable but a rep would have been good to explain the history and origins. The Village itself no doubt some would say has sold itself out to tourism and that is correct but no reason to dismiss it out of hand. We found a good restaurant albeit without a view of the sunset but we finished in time to ensure it was not missed.

The transfer to Zia from the hotel was great, on time and picked up at several hotels on the way, and the driver informed us we had to be back at the bus at a specific time due to the busy pickup times of the town. We had just enough time to have a drink in a local bar, quickly browse some local shops and eat dinner with the stunning sunset. Our only comment is it felt slightly rushed, an extra 30 minutes would have allowed us to spend time in the shops and feel more relaxed.
