Going on the first Sunday when it’s free to get in meant that world and his wife was there. I would have preferred to buy tickets and have less queuing. Also was not aware of the price from you being cheaper on that Sunday! Guide and driver were marvellous

Our guide, Alessandra, was fantastic and very knowledgeable, she was very passionate about the history and damage caused by Vesuvius. Sunday was a good day to visit as the sites weren't too busy (the roads were, but when are they not in July!) €18 for lunch was more than I expected, but the food was tasty and it included a drink.

Excellent overall, more choice of food at local restraint would be nice but needs to be limited for efficiency I guess. Guide was incredibly knowledgable about the sites and the region generally.

Excellent guide. Well organised and delivered In the days leading up to the tour we were concerned about getting to Amalfi from the hotel on a Sunday with no transport available. The situation was satisfactorily resolved in the last day or two.

The lunch stop was better than expected as we were taken to a place rather than leaving us to ourselves. It was very busy at the sites so being taken everywhere was much better. The tour guide was very good. There was nothing I did not like.

Loved this tour. Would have liked a little bit more free time in Pompeii to choose where to eat rather than going with the tour company’s recommendation l. Our guide Alessandra was excellent, knowledgeable about the area and entertaining.

The guide was superb. However we were staying at the Hotel Belvedere and although we were picked up from the hotel we were dropped off in Amalfi, we were not told this before the trip or on any of the literature provided. Therefore we had an added cost to our trip which was disappointing

The tour was fantastic, the guide excellent. Herculaneum went beyond my expectations. The lunch venue wasn’t good.. staff at the restaurant not polite. We were supposed to have a choice of dessert. That wasn’t the case even though one lady on the tour asked for the ice cream (one of the choices) and was told there was only cake.. so in face no choice.
