It's the classic mode of transportation in Morocco – a camel caravan. On this sunset tour, you'll tower above the dunes of Tamri Beach and ride alongside the Atlantic Ocean. Then round off the evening with a freshly sizzled barbecue dinner in the open air. After pick-up from your hotel, you'll arrive at the beach ready for your sandy adventure. After a safety briefing, you'll sway, two people per camel, through the undulating dunes towards Tamri Beach where you'll have the best vantage point to spot the changing colours of the sunset. After a leisurely 90-minute ride complete with sweeping views of the ocean, it's time to head for the ranch, surrounded by olive groves and palm trees with the Atlas Mountains in the distance. Unwind as we prepare a barbecue dinner under the evening sky.

We didn't expect such a long drive to the venue. Took 1hour and 20 minutes to get to where we were met by Camel handlers but the transport was comfortable. The Camel ride was fantastic. Along a secluded beach at sunset and then up into the hills with the odd stop for photos. Surprisingly the ride was not uncomfortable despite it being a bit bumpy. We were then driven on to a small but cosy venue for our bbq which was delicious and relaxing before our return journey. Highly recommended.

The camel ride setting along the beach at sunset was beautiful and so peaceful. The camels appeared well cared for. The guides were helpful and took lots of photos for us. The barbecue was yummy but we were a bit disappointed with the vegetarian option for our daughter who ended up with a plate of salad and bread as there was no alternative for her yet we paid the same (and for an adult too as over 12).

Thoroughly enjoyed the trip although not really as read in the advert. Thought would be more desert but really enjoyed seeing the flamingos. Good far ride and camels really looked well cared for. Ranch where we had dinner was lovely. Food good but everyone on our trip thought would be burgers etc but was lovely 4 course traditional meal. Don’t take valuables as nowhere to store. Don’t put things in back pockets someone lost phone on last trip. Could do with storage compartment on camel seat.

The parts of the national park that we took the camel ride through weren't much to look at, and we were on the camels a very long time, so this was a bit boring/ uncomfortable. Unsure how well the camels are treated though. The camel guide will expect a tip FYI. The BBQ/ authentic Moroccan food was lovely, however.

Really good long ride on the camels. You do need to give it a little time as the first part of the ride is through a rather untidy piece of wasteland, but soon the scenery opens up. Meal was very nice, but it should be described as a ‘Meal’ not a ‘Barbecue’ I think this trip is extremely good value for money. You do need good secure pockets for your phone /wallet as the ride can be bumpy and if you drop anything it will be extremely difficult to retrieve it if you are at the back of the train

Enjoyed it all, although advertising it as a BBQ is a bit misleading. The guide’s driving was absolutely shocking even by Moroccan standards.

The food was amazing! So much effort and thought put into it. However the actual camel ride for us had disappointing views.

The guides with the camel were lovely and helpful. The man who ran the excursion and his wife were also very nice - answered lots of questions about local area too. Camels seemed well cared for and I felt safe and looked after throughout. Improvements — food. The food itself was fine, but it was billed as a barbecue under the stars and we actually just sat on the veranda in small groups whilst the owner’s wife cooked indoors, so this part of experience didn’t feel as advertised.

Great
We were picked up from the hotel at the allotted time in a minibus with another couple. Instead of taken directly to the camel ride we were dropped off at a little indoor market and told we could spend 20 minutes shopping. None of us had brought any money as we didn't think we needed any. We were very confused so thought we'd just go sit on the bus. Me and my friend were getting some unwanted attention in the market and were nervous but when we went to get back on the bus he had left. We were so

Great
The Camel ride was just the right length, any longer and it would be too much. Sadly there was loads of litter o the route and broken glass, a worry for the camels feet. The restaurant was fabulous and very lovely owners. Clean new toilets.. The Camel owners were vert friendly and helpful.

The actual camel ride was very good, very friendly/informative people from start to end BUT what they don’t tell you is that the river is practically dried up so no birds just lots and lots and lots of plastic bottles etc, everywhere plus it must literally be on the outskirts of the nature reserve as I hope all the plastic isn’t covering the whole of it. Can’t fault the host or the guide or the bbq at the end, all very well presented and camel ride was good BUT it isn’t a nice veiw.
