The market we didn't bother with we spent our free time looking in shops and went to a lovely bar. The Gin Factory was disappointing as we all had to queue up for a shot of gin , I went 40 years ago and they had little stations for each gin with lots of shots that you just helped yourself The boat trip was great

A great guide (who was a Londoner-sorry no good with names) who was funny And very informative on our journey across the island. Told us about the island history as well as points of historic value. Explained itinary to start bavbabd then at each point of trip. Mao town was beautiful- gin is gin but nice tasting, - boat trip the heavens opened as we got on, so a very wet trip which meant no visuals underneath but calm and again and very informative - good six /seven hours out :)

It was an enjoyable day out, the boat tour was good with plenty to see in the harbour. The Gin distillery would be better described as a Gin tasting, I was expecting to see the gin distilling process which you don't. The gin tasting was good as they have a wide variety of local gin flavours to try and is a good opportunity to buy gins to take home. A couple of hours in Mahon is long enough, the guide could give directions to the Tourist Information on the road to town to pick up a map.

Guide (Silva) was friendly and very knowledgable. She spoke the whole way on the coach from our hotel to Mahon. Silva joined us at the gin factory and on the boat trip. Great trip, you won’t be disappointed.

The boat trip was very informative, only disappointing aspect was that it was too rough to be able to get the glass bottom viewing experience. The gin factory experience was more of just a tasting session than a tour of the factory. Still a good day out. The coach driver and the guide were excellent.

Unfortunately the guide was just a bit sexist! When we were tasting the gin, she kept saying to me don’t have that one, it’s men’s gin and repeated this to many members of the trip. One time, it’s a joke - but when it’s a constant comment it gets boring and offensive!

Trip was great. Not good start as bus was over 30 minutes late packing us up. However we lost no time. Mahon is lovely. And as well as boat tour we managed to catch the train tour. Would recommend to other guest if they have time. Ot you could add it to the experience.

We were only in the distillery 20 minutes and the machines wernt working as it was Saturday. Why arrange a trip to a working distillery when the machines don’t run at weekends? Boat trip was amazing can’t fault it. Then had free time in Mahón. Got there at 12.30 and then told a lot of the local shops close at 1.30 so buy your bits quickly. Once again why arrange shopping time when a lot of the traditional shops close??

The guide, Francis, was fantastic. Helpful, knowledgeable and funny. We learnt a lot about the island in the trip. The visit to the distillery is just a mini tasting and a chance to buy products which was fine by us but a bit odd to be trying gin at 10am really! Might have been better at the end of the trip. Boat tour good fun. Mahon is beautiful but we didn’t have loads of time (2hrs) to explore it. Great value for money - would definitely recommend.

The tour was a great way of seeing Mahón and the history. The boat trip was great as it was guided and learnt so much, But the distillery tour should be called a gin tasting as you don’t actually have a tour of the distillery process; only the option to taste different types of gin for 20 mins as need to leave for the boat tour. It was a great trip overall.

Rebecca and Juan (coach driver) were brilliant. Plenty of information throughout the tour. Boat trip was brilliant but would have liked it to be slightly longer and even given the chance to have a swim at some point. Gin distillery was short and sweet but nice to try as many different Gins as possible.

I wouldn't really call it a gin distillery tour, we were basically taken to a shop where its made in the back, showed a distillery through a window (which wasn't even working as it was Saturday) and offered a couple of tasters (which were nice) then told we had 5 minutes to buy anything we wanted and that was it, bit disappointed to be honest. The market is small but nice enough for a little walk round, best bit was the boat tour (unfortunately we couldn't see any fish due to choppy seas)

Enjoyed the time we spent in Mahon with time to explore. I would have welcomed somewhere to sit down in the Gin distillery. It was quite a long walk in the heat of the day to the boat. The boat trip was interesting but got the impression the underwater part of the trip did not happen very often. Sometimes hard to hear the English commentary.

We were picked up on time, and the Rep was lovely really friendly and really interesting about the History of the Island. Boat trip was pleasant again interesting. Distillery was ok. I really enjoyed the free time, the Market was excellent, and loads of shops and sights to visit as well. I would definitely recommend this trip.

Inexcusable pick up drop off...everyone else on the tour was picked up and dropped of at thier hotels...people from cala Galdanda are not and have to walk to and from pick up point approx .5 mile..despite thus would have been the easiest pick up. Otherwise it was a reasonable day out geylt your act together Tui

The guide was excellent, entertaining, helpfull and knowledgeable. The Catamaran tour was excellent too. The time at the Gin distillery was long enough for us and would have preferred another hour in Mahon and a later start in the day. Overall very good.

A little more info on what is unsuitable for people with mobility issues I.e:- long walk to boat or steep hills in parts of town. As not all mobility issues are severe so would help judge if it would be ok

The booking staff and processes while booking the trip were mediocre. There was no advantage to going into a TUI office and speaking directly to "knowledgeable" staff than just booking online myself. We were encouraged to download the TUI app, so we did, and then we were inundated with more emails, SMS messages, and app notifications than we ever could have imagined! Most messages were superfluous regarding our holiday and yet important info was not shared at all.

It was lovely having some free time in Mahon but this could do with being longer, only had an hr & half. The gin tasting was good, but it is just tasting, no tour of the distillery. The harbour boat tour was really interesting, shame the glass bottom was not available due to wind. On the app it says 9.30-5.30 but we were back at the hotel by 2! So it isn’t really a whole day.

Our guide, Amanda was very knowledgeable about the history of the island and delivered it in a balanced manner so that we weren’t overwhelmed with too much information. The harbour boat tour lasted about one hour and the prerecorded information was delivered in French and English. The Gin factory and tasting was at the port and lasted 20-30 minutes. We had 2 hours free time in Mahon to check the market and local shops. Only negative pickup was at a central location, not hotel pickup. 5*

We had 25 minutes feom the boat to finishing in there and although we was given a little time to taste a few samples, we weren't shown or explained the gin making process. Basically, it was a gin shop. Whish was not how this is advertised.

Lovely boat trip in Mahon, with included commentary of sights. Trip to Gin distillery was also good, lots of choice in tasting and no pressure to buy. But so nice so we did get a bottle to bring back. Market day was on in Mahon so it was nice to have free time to wander round the stalls and the city. It would have been hreat to have an 3hours in Mahon to explore as felt we didnt get to see everything.

Our guide Rebecca gave all history facts and trip information in a clear and easy to understand way. The boat trip was pleasant, the gin tasting was good with plenty of different flavours to try. A stroll through the market with a couple of purchases and back to hotel in time for lunch. Nearly forgot to mention José the driver, nice comfy ride.

Promt pick up. Very friendly tour guide. Long walk from coach to glass bottom boat, would have been better if coach parked closer. Lovely boat tour. Nice walk around Mahon and market. Nice gin tasting to finish off. Didn't feel comfortable when the tour guide asked for tips for him and the coach driver on arrival to drop off, even though it was done politely.

Opportunity to enjoy the harbour, learn about its history and island culture, taste local produce and then time in the town to wander around the sites at your own pace and interest. Tui guide was very knowledgeable about the island and ensured everyone kept safe. There was nothing I didn't like about the tour

We enjoyed the boat trip although it was a little choppy and one unfortunate gentleman was sea sick so would not recommend if you suffer from travel sickness or are hungover! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and I enjoyed her commentary. The gin tasting was a nice addition. The only downside is that I would have preferred longer at the markets to visit some of the shops and cafés. There is a little takeaway café just opposite the bus stop serving fresh hot churros! Delicious!

The tour guide Nicola is a fabulous asset to your team she made the experience amazing. From her knowledge of the island to looking after her group Best tour guide I have ever been with. Please do feed this back to her we went on sat 19th august from the hotel globales Mediterranean in Cala Blanca

It is not a farmers market, that should be taken out of the title and replaced with the courtyard market which is in the centre of Mahon.

The guide was very impressive. Boat tour and gin shop brilliant. Less great was market which really wasn’t a farmers market but still loves the free time.

Excellent
Enjoyed the free time in mahon, the boat trip and the quite was very helpful and interesting. The gin tasting wasn't to our liking but we attended as the waubits made was interesting.
